JP Losman haters will agree with GBN
K-gunner replied to richNjoisy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is whats true. Our coaching staff was in shambles. From week to week it had no flow,no direction,no focus.A mishmash of Run...No throw...No a double reverse...No...let's line up a rook WR in the backfeild and let him throw.Christ..The guy had puppets as coaches.I'm not saying the guy is the second coming...but he aint Rob Johnson. -
What geade would you give this draft
K-gunner replied to Pyrite Gal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd go a B. Lot's of help on the D...farkin' playmakers and hitters with speed in the secondary. Anyone notice the drop off in huge WR's..speed kills.3 wide sets are pretty much the norm again...and athletic TE's.You better have players to cover and tackle.A quick DL can help the secondary...the LB's we have are going to be counted on more to stop the run. With a healthy TKO i don't see that as a problem. -

Round 5 (#143) Selection: OT Brad Butler

I like the word nasty...and ive seen it come up in the both the O Linemans profile.Potential starter..is another key word.Mcnally is not a fool..nor a chump..give the man something to work with.Nasty and mean on the field is not a character flaw...picking up 14 year olds at 7-11 is.Denver won with a brutal line..not all 330 but nasty and motivated on both sides of the ball. -
He really loved TD...really.What a bitter poo boy..
-
5 0r 6 i guess...the whole show was just so ass kissy towards certain teams,it made me ill.I don't remember it ever being so bad...and i think Irvin was hittin' da glass deek during com breaks.
-
The fuken Patriots had the mother of all drafts...every pick was great and a future Hall Of Famer!(insert sarcasm). I was disgusted overall by Espn's coverage..
-
To hell with Box Office..that was TD's claim to fame.Give me FOOTBALL players i could give a damn about the name game.

A HEALTHY Gibson...could help immensely.I think people forget he was not some bum.Injuries were his downfall...like the above poster said and one earlier...i'm rooting for him. -
As did the former regime...and i agree 100%.
-
On the whole i would say a solid B. Defense wins...especially ones that get takeaways. The Bill's D needed a influx of young talent and i think the got it.It's not like we were one player away from going to the SB anyway..

Roung 7 (#248) Selection: OG Aaron Merz

You can't make chicken salad out of chicken shite ,bro. The guy did not get the rep of being one of the best for nothing.. -

Not bad...Mcnally may be able to work with these late round guys. They seem to have some talent.. -
I think the Bills draft as a whole was pretty good.I was shocked by the Whitner pick...The more i look at it though and someone else here mentioned it...Detroit was going to nab him. They went safety in the 2nd.Anywhoo...i think the Yoboty and Simpson picks are going to make many a Bills fan smile in a year or two..

It's probably not going to happen...but it would be great if Aaron Gibson could add something. He was a pretty good player when healthy....healthy being the key word. -
Round 5 (#143) Selection: OT Brad Butler

Dirty, nasty = Denver's OL for years...they ran the ball pretty well, regardless of who was doing it.Nothing wrong with a nasty streak. -

Yet another mock draft to feast your eyes on
K-gunner replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not a bad mock...but as was posted earlier...gotta get them RB's outta there.I think Eric Shelton may turn out to be pretty good.He never really had enough touches at Louisville. -
Chris Rix just spotted at the Buffalo airport.
K-gunner replied to ieatcrayonz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To quote the dear Coach D..Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane....anything other than a very late round pick or FA signing would be a mistake..I'm more leaning toward FA. -
That is where i stand. With so many holes picking up extra picks in this draft is essential...of course it goes without saying...ones who can step in and contribute.Lots of goodies will still be available in rounds 2 &3...

ngata or bunkley - who would you rather have?
K-gunner replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's easy to get caught up in Ngata's physical size...he looks the part. But so did Big Daddy Wilkerson,Darryl Gardner..ect. Bunkley aint a lightwieght plus he has drive..that seals it for me. -
How much relevance do you guys think the whole System QB still has? I know A.Smith and Losman had pretty much wide open offences while in college. You would think that pro scouts would take that into mind...i mean a grand precentage of QB's that wash out seem to come from programs that run spread type formations.Even going way back to guys like Andre Ware...and this year with Vince Young..it's gotta throw up red flags all over the place.Thoughts?

Is it worth it to trade Clements
K-gunner replied to The Tomcat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you can get a 1st rounder for him,,i say adios. The pure cover 2 (at least imo) can survive without lock down corners (not that he ever really earned that title).Plus the Bills are probably about 2/3 years from making a serious impact anyway. So even if they sign him to a deal,he would probably be ready to move by the time they were getting into the swing.Great OL/DL's can and do make a average secondary look great...The Bills should concentrate all (or at least a good chunk) their efforts on upgrading those first. -
I agree. I would love to see Mangold in a Buffalo uni...i think he would be a perfect fit here.Pipe dreams of course...but it would be nice.

70. Buffalo (from TEN) Ryan O'Callaghan, T California That guy is a !@#$in' monster...i hope this pick turns out to be true.I have to say i like Kipers predictions as a whole also.
