  1. If the Eagles are smart, and are concerned about only the post season, they shut him down for at least this week. No need to trot him out there against Demarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons. Keep him off the field, let him rest, and if he feels 100% then bring him out against the Saints. Don't risk your entire season over one game when you're 13-1 with almost everything locked up. You have two more games against the Saints and Giants afterward to win the division and secure the #1 seed.
  2. Hurts has taken over Lamar's spot as the new dual threat sports media darling.
  3. This is what you hear the bobbleheads in the sports media spewing the most. "Josh plays too much hero ball and has too many turnovers," even when Josh isn't playing hero ball and isn't turning the ball over.
  4. All in 2022: Tough game @ Baltimore, winning 23-20 on a last second FG after erasing a 20-3 deficit. A game where we scored the last 20 points. The very next week after Baltimore? We beat the brakes off of Pittsburgh 38-3. The very next week after beating the brakes off of the Steelers? We rally in the last minute of the game to beat KC on their home field 24-20. The defense holds them in the last minute to finish off the comeback. We have 3 losses by a combined 8 points. Two of those losses were in consecutive weeks. There is no rhyme or reason to our L's, except we were fighting through some key injuries and we hurt ourselves on the field. We've won 5 games in a row, 4 of the 5 coming against teams .500 or better, and are currently the #1 seed in the AFC. This team knows what's at stake. They will not overlook anyone on the schedule. They will be ready for each opponent.
  5. He kind of reminds me of an Alex Smith type tbh. High draft pick, solid enough player, but never going to carry a team.
  6. Just to kind of back up your statement, here are the current SOS rankings. The Bills come in at #3 and SF at #29.
  7. Well, you know......... Lizard people
  8. He's a better option than Van Roten. Hopefully Bates is back this week to play C and Boettger can slide in at OG.
  9. Only the local Bills fans I would imagine.
  10. This is good news. He is a decent option at OG if Bates is out.
  11. 41 votes for Elam, 0 for Jackson
  12. I've seen some people on here saying the seeding isn't that big of a deal, nor the extra week off. For us, it ABSOLUTELY would be a big deal. Home field as long as we are in it, an extra week of rest for our banged up players, and watching other teams knock the snot out of each other just to get to the 2nd round? Trying to downplay this scenario is uneducated.
  13. Yeaaaaahhhhhhh, idk. The Pats took one on the chin too. Keelan Cole was clearly out of bounds on that "TD" catch. And if he was ruled out, then the lateral never takes place. Looked like all of his toes were in the white, but replay upheld the TD.
  14. No, he was still talking about their "Championship defense" all the way up to the TD by Cincy. He's an idiot
  15. Burrow is getting hammered right now
  16. Awwwww, poor little fellas
  17. There are 3 teams at the top of the AFC. Buffalo, KC, and Cincy. One could beat the other on any given Sunday. All 3 of the teams are really good. None of them are great. If we still had Micah and Von, then we would be head and shoulders above the rest. No one can rationally argue the fact, though, that the Chiefs are NOT the same without Tyreke Hill.
  18. For all of the bobbleheads in the sports media (and the idiots on here) who want to crucify Allen for every misstep, look at Hurts today. The guy that so many are crowning as the MVP with 3 weeks to go.
  19. I picked the Phins and the Pats. Why? Because them, that's why. Screw Belicheat and that whiney little Mac Jones. Screw the Pete Davidson wannabe coach of the Phins and that noodle armed bast*rd Tua. And Christian Wilkins can choke on a glizzy.
  20. Is talking about the #1 seed
  21. Still hoping the Raiders can pull one out of their bum week 18 and seal their fate.
  22. The Bills get another W, but all too close for comfort. We can agree on that I'm sure. Even still, our guys balled out and came up clutch again. The first half we're going up and down the field like it's nothing, scoring at will. Josh is spreading the ball around to everyone. Morris, Hines, Cook, Knox, Davis, Beasley, Diggs, Singletary, McKenzie, Josh was doing whatever he wanted. That final play of the first half epitomizes our season to date. Josh gets loose, extends the play running towards the sidelines, flings the ball back across his body past numerous defenders, all of us collectively holding our breath, and Cook comes up with the ball in the endzone with :00 on the clock. 21-13, receiving in the 2nd half, and about to put our foot on the gas. Or so we thought. The second half we come out flat again. I believe Dorsey deserves some blame, our guys got sloppy with penalties, and then we lose Morse. At that point it's a jailbreak every time Allen takes a snap. The Dolphins are still going up and down the field as well, scoring two TD's and getting a field goal to go up 29-21. For all intents and purposes, Tua was solid. He only had a 56% completion rate, but his guys dropped 4 or 5 passes as well. He had them in position to win. That's when it happened. The chips were down. Morse was in the locker room. We'd been stagnant the entire 2nd half. The snow started to fall. Josh says, "Pardon me for a second," and then steps into a phone booth. The guy who came out was Captain Clutch, that dude with the killer instinct we've grown accustomed to seeing. The one who wills his team to victory. He proceeds to take off running like a 6'5", 250lb gazelle scampering for 50 yards on the drive. One of them, a 44 yard run where he weaved his way through defenders while leaving them dejected and grasping at the air. He hits Knox for the TD on 3rd down with a beautifully executed play call to pull within 2. Then, just as everyone expected, Josh takes matters into his own hands on the two point conversion. The snap goes back, Josh takes off, he leaps through the air without regard for life or limb, and gives himself in attempt to get those 2 points needed to tie the game. They send us to commercial break thinking the try had failed, but we come back to a replay of a SUCCESSFUL two point conversion. At that point, the stadium is rocking. The snow is coming down heavy and you can feel the shift in the momentum. The Phins get the ball back and Tua gets a quick completion to a sliding Tyreke Hill. Is the defense going to break? The nerves were starting to build. Rousseau makes a nice stop on a run play. Then, on 2nd and 9, Elam makes what could be his biggest play all season. He sees Hill drifting out into the flat and immediately attacks the play, making a HUGE stop for a 3 yard loss. Third down brings an incomplete pass to Waddle and the Bills get the ball back with 5:56 to play at their own 7 yard line. As JA walked out onto the field, I knew this was going to be the last drive of the game. It was shades of Baltimore all over again. A cool, calm, and collected Josh then proceeds to lead a 15 play, 86 yard drive to put Bass into position for the games winner. No matter the down or distance, Josh made the right read, hit the right man, or set the Dolphins defenders up for failure by recognizing the mismatch. This was especially seen on the PI drawn by McKenzie. The guys cleaned off a spot for Bass, and Bass reserved our seat at the table. 2023 Playoffs, here come the Bills. It wasn't a complete game. It wasn't our best game. But Josh did Josh type things and vaulted himself back into the MVP convo. Another CLUTCH performance under the bright lights and on the big stage. Survive and keep hope alive for the #1 seed. We are one step closer. Three more to go. GO BILLS!!!
