Tyreek Hill apparently arrested this morning…
H2o replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bruschi is a clown. Acting like Tyreek Hill is George Floyd. Stupid. How bad did Bruschi feel when Tyreek was slapping old people? How bad did Bruschi feel when Tyreek was involved in domestic situations? Freakin 🤡 show. -
I don't know. Josh kinda strikes me as a guy who will get paid, but not want to be the highest paid in the league so the team can have some cap flexibility.

This situation is already being made "political" on the countdown shows. All these guys on TV are talking about how they're mad, without knowing any facts of the situation of course. -
"Araiza punts" Yes, he punts

It couldn't happen to a better cheapskate....... if it's true The Dolphins are going all in on keeping a roster together that hasn't accomplished anything.

I don't think Lamar is below-average by any means. He is propped up by the media a bit, but that's not his fault. I think part of that still goes back to everyone in the "sports media" world flipping out on Polian. Like they just had to go to the extreme in the opposite direction. Sportscaster 1: "Oh my gerd, how great was that 4 yard TD pass by Lamar?1?!?" Sportscaster 2: "Amazing, simply amazing!!!" Seriously though, he's easily top 7 in the league at his position, and debatable top 5. Can you imagine if he swapped positions with Jalen Hurts, what those Eagles teams would be like and what kinds of numbers he would put up (which could be said for a lot of QB's to have that much talent around them, Josh included)? I would have him at 5 behind only Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, and Stroud (just my 2). I take Stroud because he's the better passer of the two. I do think Lamar has folded in some big games, but I still think Lamar does some special things on a football field. A lot of it is predicated on his legs, his escapability, and the threat of running when he gets out of the pocket, but it is still special none the less.

NFL 2024 Kickoff: Ravens @ Chiefs, Sept 5 - 8:20pm
H2o replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
My FF team salutes him Worthy's plays, however, were nothing special in any way. Same Mecole Hardman-esque usage. He didn't really get that much separation all night. A majority of his yards and a TD came on a busted play. He had 1 catch for 7 yards outside of the the other couple touches. Still a solid debut, but nothing he did had ma saying, "Oh no, it's Tyreek 2.0!!!" -
Pretty crappy slate in VA. Pats vs Bungles Stillers vs Falcons Skins vs Bucs

I drafted Worthy in like the 12th round of my FF draft, and started him tonight. I appreciate his efforts thus far -

Just here to see people freaking out about Xavier Worthy getting a tuddy -
We can't even get you to spring for a cup of coffee

He was absolutely a liability

If it's not on here in VA or a prime time game, I find a stream online. You can either videocast it to the TV or watch it on your preferred device. Simple and easy. They, these cable/streaming companies, bleed me enough as it is. I'm not paying for anything else.

I mean, does this really shock anyone? It's been on the decline since 2022. I think it came to a head when he stormed out of the locker room after the loss to Cincy in the Playoffs. After that it was just a matter of time. I don't hate Diggs. He was great for us the first couple years and we needed him when we made that trade. But his personality? The guy is a headcase. He's out there on that TO type vibe. That's why he bounced around to a bunch of different teams even though he was a HOF WR.

Damar Hamlin starting? This Secondary is in trouble.

McDermott's history with Safeties outside of Buffalo

And still is. God help us if he's starting. -
And this is the difference between us and KC. They drafted Pat Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, Trent McDuffie, L'Jarius Sneed, Creed Humphrey, Tyreek Hill, and Trey Smith. Now granted not all of those guys are there anymore, but they have all turned out to be top tier players and contributed to their run. We drafted Josh Allen.

How Is Rashee Rice Not Suspended Or On The Exempt List?
H2o replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
And I get that, but I see this case different than others. Video evidence and his lawyer admitting to the fact he was driving. He's guilty. He's already admitted it, through his lawyer of course. Now it's just the facade of the legal aspects for a rich athlete that have to play out. But you're right about what the NFLPA would do. If Goodell didn't even put Watson on the exempt list, he won't put Rice either. Their personal conduct policy and explanations thereof are a sham. -
How Is Rashee Rice Not Suspended Or On The Exempt List?
H2o replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
I understand what you're saying. I've seen the hypocrisy in how the NFL, Goodell, handles things. This is different than most though. He hasn't come out pleading his innocence, probably because there is so much evidence against him. His lawyer even admitted Rice was driving. This is after Britt Reid (yes, I know he was not a player, but it's Chiefs related). This is after the Jalen Carter incident where two people lost their lives. He is literally on video leaving the scene of the accident. Every aspect of this entire situation is detrimental to the league. -
This is pretty baffling, outside of the fact he plays on the new NFL darlings. Zay Jones is suspended 5 games for "conduct detrimental to the league" and he was never prosecuted (not claiming he is a better human being). Rice is facing 8 charges from his CONFIRMED involvement in racing down a highway involving a hit and run. There's video evidence. His lawyer admitted Rice was driving. How is this not deemed "conduct detrimental to the league"? Even after that, being the upstanding human being he is, he is asking for the civil suits pending from the people who got hit in the hit and run portion of his escapade to be tossed. I guess staging a video shoot handing out some pizza and water bottles served as his atonement.

The way people are on their phones scrolling and texting while driving, I don't trust those either.
