Great and pretty brutal assessment of Bills’ talent by Chris Simms

This is absolutely legit. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is on Josh. Throw in a ligament tear in an elbow, that he played through without complaining, and here you have it. -
Humble and Hungry got smacked by Cocky and Arrogant

I'm a full believer in "pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall" thinking about this. The Bengals won't win the SB. If they beat KC, then they will lose to Philly or SF. Watch. And no, we wouldn't bring in a poc like Mixon and I'm good with that. -
Yesterday was not their day. From that opening drive where Allen missed Diggs for what possibly would have been a TD, that was it. The snow seemed to effect us more than it effected them. The disparity in talent between their complete skill group and ours was evident. The schemes were vanilla on both sides of the ball. It was just a bad game all the way around. Allen's missed throw to Diggs, the Davis drop, the double standards in penalties called by the refs in many instances (no, I'm not saying this was the deciding factor only a reality if you paid attention yesterday), they just looked beaten after the Bengals went up 14-0. They had some chances to get back in it, but would either shoot themselves in the foot or coaching wouldn't sack up to take a chance to swing momentum. The defense had 0 answers yesterday and that falls squarely on BOTH McDermott and Frazier. We've seen this "bend, but don't break" mentality for the last 7 years now. It's not bad during the regular season. Come Playoff time though, it's not getting it done once we get to the best teams in the conference. They need to do some truly deep self reflection this offseason and make some serious changes.

And..... Four of those were directly off of his guys' hands and into the other teams. He also had a pick or two while he was getting hammered throwing the ball. The fumbles happen at times because he's running for his life ALL the time. OR some happened because the OL was a complete jailbreak from the snap. He also played through a torn ligament in his elbow. Was he at fault or greedy at times? Absolutely. But he basically has to carry the entire team on his back week in and week out. The talk he has regressed is ret*rded. -
That guy just got fired. Jerry might whoop his a** in the locker room at halftime even.

All of the "Josh Allen has regressed" talk is absolutely ret*rded. He was 2nd in total yards and total TD's this year. Without him we'd be lucky to win 5 games. He IS the offense. Fix the OL and watch how much EVERYTHING changes. -
I've come to accept our offensive scheme relies on Allen too much

Brown is surely part of the problem. Bates is meh. Saffold definitely needs to be sent packing. Hopefully Morse comes back. This offseason is going to be huge in how this team moves forward. Either we see the necessary sweeping changes or they continue with the same failed experiments at various positions. -

Fix the OL, I mean LEGITIMATELY FIX the OL, and this team performs a lot different. He's running for his life every week. He was hurried on over 50% of his drop backs today and hit numerous times. This is after the disaster we saw last week.- 142 replies
