It's possible, but maybe not. Henry used to line up much further behind the QB than most RB's. It gave him time to get up to speed. He's always been a downhill runner. Now most of his reps are going to come basically at a standstill beside Lamar in Shotgun. Honestly, I don't like the fit.

But does Jacksonville want to pay that contract AND give up that 2nd Round pick? This may just be his way of saying "thanks, but no thanks" to NE.

He's clearly on the decline and has basically been a JAG the last two years. He's had 10 sacks or more twice in 9 years. He's had less than 5 sacks in a season 5 times in that same span. This is meh at best.

I'm actually more on the side of bringing in Hollywood Brown with that sub-4.3 speed and then drafting whoever draft a guy like Mitchell, Leggette, McConkey, Walker, Pearsal, or Wilson. If we could make a move up to get Thomas Jr at a reasonable price? I'd be all for that too. I think the top 3 of MHJ, Nabers, and Odunze will definitely be off of the board at places we aren't willing to pay the cost to get to.

That's actually a low key good signing for Cincy. It's also a good spot for Gesicki to rebuild his value.

Never understood how the NFL could blackball Ray Rice, but a team would draft this guy and hand him millions. Him, Watson, and Tyreek Hill should all be left in the same John boat out in the middle of the Atlantic.

Jones, though not elite, looked great before the pec injury. Our defense as a whole looked violent and was flying toward the ball until Milano, Jones, and White went down. I like that we're bringing him back. I don't really look at his age with the position he plays. He's going to take up blockers in a rotational role and we'll still add another DT in the draft I think. And probably even a cheaper option on a 1 or 2 year deal a week or so down the road when the FA dust settles.

The way this plays out could dictate their draft strategy. If Higgins is going to be there for a while then they likely don't go WR in the 1st. If Higgins is on the move then that could be another of the top talents off of the board.

They still have some big name players coming up on FA. Nick Bolton, Creed Humphrey, and Trey Smith all due to be FA's next year. That $89M you're talking about is with them only having 24 players on their roster and it doesn't include the figures from Chris Jones' new contract.

Did anyone really expect him to go anywhere? I always knew he would be in KC for the foreseeable future. I think this pretty much is the extent of their FA though with the re-signing of Jones and Tranquil.
