I don't really see him as a 2nd Round guy. Maybe a 4th at the earliest. Smaller school. Decent, but not overly impressive stats. Decent, but not overly impressive tape. Decent, but not overly impressive athletic ability. He is also limited to a bull rush for the most part. Not really much twitch to his game at all. He would struggle to make the regular season roster here imo. I wouldn't consider the guy until Day 3.

We probably should extend him if we can. But it may also be possible his agent tells him to hold out on signing a LT deal due to the massive contracts being handed out to DE's at the moment. He's clearly on the decline and has basically been a JAG the last two years. He's had 10 sacks or more twice in 9 years. He's had less than 5 sacks in a season 5 times in that same span. This is meh at best.

I'm actually more on the side of bringing in Hollywood Brown with that sub-4.3 speed and then drafting whoever draft a guy like Mitchell, Leggette, McConkey, Walker, Pearsal, or Wilson. If we could make a move up to get Thomas Jr at a reasonable price? I'd be all for that too. I think the top 3 of MHJ, Nabers, and Odunze will definitely be off of the board at places we aren't willing to pay the cost to get to.
