  1. Al Davis is going to resurrect from the dead to draft Worthy first
  2. Leggette with that 4.39 on the 2nd
  3. 4.47 for Leggette. 4.35 for Adonai Mitchell tho 🔥
  4. DeVonta Smith is 170lbs. He's pretty good. Pass on Coleman.
  5. Franklin with a 4.41 isn't bad at all. For some reason I thought he was taller though.
  6. Slowwww
  7. Shakir has some versatility. Ideally, he's going to start in the Slot next year. Really good hands and made the most of his opportunities. Josh also was looking for him more. Gabe saw 81 targets during the regular season last year. Shakir, already having chemistry with Josh, should see a some of those.
  8. Sign the entire staff from Orchids of Asia to the active roster.
  9. He already has one. At this point in his career, he's probably just looking for one more payday. If he can get that AND chase a ring he would do it. I think the biggest threat to steal him from Tampa is Houston. He played his college ball at A&M (College Station is fairly close to Houston), he's also from Galveston, TX which is not that far from Houston, Houston has $68M, and they have CJ Stroud.
  10. Again, he's another athlete without much to show for it on the field. He had 15 TOTAL tackles in 10 games with 4 whole sacks. Amazing. I don't care what Baldinger has to say about three highlights he pulled from a game against Iowa. Of course they aren't showing the tape where he's getting cleared out by the OL or taking himself out of plays. That's an easy pass.
  11. He's basically Yannick Ngakoue without the production. We don't need a 6'3" 250lb DE with 11.5 sacks in 3 years. It would be a waste of a 1st round pick. Let someone else make that mistake. He's not Micah Parsons 2.0 like they're making him out to be.
  12. KC has Chris Jones to re-sign, Trey Smith on deck, Nick Bolton one deck, Creed Humphrey on deck, and Harrison Butker on deck, They have a lot of $$$ they are about to have to spread around. I can't see them Paying $20M+ to a WR and giving up multiple high end draft picks.
  13. Purdy is the fluke in all of this. They had Jimmy G prior to, but he was on a middle of the road QB contract. Reason being, Shanahan's offense can almost be run by a chimp in pads. Ok not literally a chimp, but you get what I am saying. He knows how to coach up QB's and get the most out of them. Tua is in the same system with McDaniel as Purdy with Shanahan. Miami is about to find themselves in a more tight cap situation as well when they pay middle of the road Tua top QB $$$. They also have Waddle coming up soon, and possibly Jaelen Phillips. No, Allen is not on a rookie contract anymore. In all fairness though, this season is where his new $$$ is finally ballooning for the first time. They had opportunities to do more for Allen, but they have not. Part of it is because Allen himself makes everyone else around him better than what they actually are, outside of Diggs who was good before he got here. Part of that is they were banking on Gabe's development. Then the rest of it is they spent resources elsewhere and hoped to get lucky while bargain hunting. It hasn't worked out. He has not had the same talent around him as the other top offenses in this league. Whatever the reasoning may be or how people try to justify it, this is the case. For Allen's future cap figures, they will likely have to renegotiate a deal after this season tacking on more years and throwing in more guaranteed $$$. We know what we have so it's not a bad of a situation overall.
  14. And I think all of them are going to be whining about how teams aren't giving RB's big contracts. Why would you? Outside of McCaffrey, who could probably line up full time at WR as well, is really worth much gtd $$$? I think the top guys will find less money on annual average than they played out their Franchise Tags for.
  15. You said JA has had weapons. Whom are these weapons you speak of outside of Diggs and Beasley (three years in total and two of those with Diggs)? Kincaid this year alone, yes, but they still didn't use him correctly for most of the year. Cook's emergence as one of the better RB's in the league this year, yes. Who are the rest of these weapons over the years? They brought back both Beasley and Brown a couple of seasons ago because they had no one. We have had multiple inconsistent players and they've gone bargain basement hunting in hopes of striking it "WR rich", but it hasn't worked out. They have failed JA in this regard, relying too much on his playmaking instead of adding another legitimate playmaker to go with Diggs. Or at least putting forth an effort like they were actually trying to. The OL has been average at best since he's been here. This year was a bit better, but JA still makes them look better than they are because of his athleticism and the fact he is hard to bring down. Dawkins and Morse have been the only above average-good starters they have had on the OL for JA's career. Bates, Feliciano (who was just too often injured), Saffold (the Pro Bowl train wreck), Darryl Williams (Jekyll & Hyde), the turnstile version of Spencer Brown (who still has trouble with speed rushers or guys with multiple moves), and let's not even talk about the rest of the guys. There have been many places they could have at least attempted to do more, but they did not. Let's just hope they continue to do the right thing this year. But with our cap situation and the losses we are looking at on defense, it could be more of the same.
  16. But you said Allen has had weapons, did you not? He's had a true number one for 4 years. Beasley was an upper echelon slot, but we only had that production for two years with Diggs and three years overall. Other than that, his "weapons" were average to below and well below compared to some other teams.
  17. Josh has had Diggs, yes. He had a couple years where Beasley was the failsafe outlet, yes. Outside of those two, who has he had? John Brown? Please. An on his last legs Emmanuel Sanders? An inconsistent Knox and Gabe Davis? Cook emerged this year, but also had some big drops in the passing games at times. They drafted Kincaid, who will only get better. Truth is Allen has been the offense mostly just because of the player he is, outside of Diggs being his #1. His OL has also been EXTREMELY suspect up until this past season where they were better, but still not KC, SF, Philly, or Dallas good. No one is saying the offense is the worst. But he doesn't have McCaffrey, Kittle, Samuel, and Aiyuk. He doesn't have Chase, Higgins, and Boyd. He doesn't have Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle. He doesn't have Devonta Smith and AJ Brown. He hasn't had some of the weapons like many of the top offenses in the league. Like I said, he does more on his own.
  18. Her name is Dana Beattie (I believe), even though they are not naming her.
  19. Glad we dodged that bullet. It would ruin Bass' game if he were the holder.
  20. Nobody: vtnatefootball11: The Dawson Knox contract thread from a year and a half ago for a LAMP
  21. Baker looked good a couple of years in Cleveland too, without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. They almost beat the Chiefs in the Playoffs. Andy Dalton on the other hand is on the tail end of a solid, but not spectacular career. I know Baker will want to maximize his value while he can, but he's still gonna have to take what he will get. No one is saying he is elite or deserves elite money. I can see someone giving him a Geno Smith type of contract. He (Geno) got paid off of a single year worth of production while having some good talent around him as well. And Geno had done absolutely nothing in his career prior to that single season. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean no one will take that chance, especially with a QB. Your feelings about Baker are probably on par with mine about JJ McCarthy from Michigan.
  22. Ran this one on PFN just now. Moved a couple of times for a couple of picks:
