I am starting to think that Lamar going to the Jets is more likely than Rodgers. Rodgers is not going to want the state of NY taking 10% of his $$$. I still see LV as the most likely destination. If the Ravens put the nonexclusive Tag on Lamar, I think the Jets will be all over that. They will gladly give up the 2 picks, along with the contract to get him. It would be the best skill group Lamar has had as well.

I have news for him though. If he's not happy here, with JA17 as his QB, then what do you think would be the outcome of playing with Dak Prescott?

I'd definitely throw a 4th out there for a guy with his pedigree, and is coming off of another 1,500 yd+ campaign. He may not expect it, but I wouldn't rule us out. This would open up more in the offense imo.

I understand that rationale, but it's a VERY risky proposition taking a guy in the top 10 like that. Especially if you are a new GM, with a new HC, and trying to establish yourself along with building a winning roster. If you already have a bridge QB and can bring him along slowly? Great. Otherwise, it may cost them their job. Honestly, he reminds me of Terrelle Pryor with a better vertical.

Workout Warrior Awards to this point: Offense - Without a doubt it's Anthony Richardson. His workout has all of the sports media bobbleheads soiling themselves. Everyone knew he was super athletic coming into this, but now he throws a few 60 yard passes in underwear and they're all like . It's hilarious to me. The tape doesn't lie. He will need to be shown a lot of grace and get with someone who can help him work at his craft extensively. I think someone like Daboll could work wonders with the young man, but he's not making it to NY. And before you try to drag JA into this convo, he was the entire offense at Wyoming. A team made up of a couple low 3 star, some 2 star, and unranked talent around him. Richardson was at Florida with a bunch of high 3 star, some 4 star, and a 5 star or two talent around him. Defense - Adetomiwa Adebawore. A 6'2", 282lb DE who runs a 4.49 40-yard dash, a 37.5" vertical, and a 10'5" broad jump. These are definitely "wow" traits, and it has people talking, but he has a 74 TOT, 17.5 TFL, and 9.5 sacks in the last 2 years. Those aren't really "wow" numbers. He's a bit stiff, has trouble disengaging at times, and doesn't read things very quickly. But, yes, he is one heck of an athlete.

I'm convinced that Brandon Marshall has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. The defense will be different, but better imo. Diggs will still be here for the 2023 season. Our window is open as long as we have Josh Allen.

Yeah, I'm not a big Addison fan myself. He's got adequate speed though.

He timed in at 4.49 on the second run. And this year most of the adjustments have turned out faster for the official times. He'll probably end up around 4.46

We'll have to first see how they shift the $$$ around to get any idea on how much they will spend. There are a couple of guys I would go after though. Isaac Seumalo / G - would be a huge upgrade. Jakobi Meyers / WR - he would take off with Josh throwing him the ball and would be a solid #2 opposite Diggs. If we could then land JSN or Zay Flowers in the 1st, John Michael Schmitz in the 2nd, and Jack Campbell in the 3rd? 🔥 After that BPA. I know it's a lot of wishful thinking, but yeah.

Franchise Saquon, put an offer on the table, and say see if anyone else gives you more. They could always bring in Carr, Baker, Garoppolo, or Darnold and figure out what they want to do later. Carr would probably be more pricey and a longer term investment. Baker, Darnold, and Jimmy G could be shorter, bridge types. OR, Schoen and Daboll could make a play for Lamar if the Ravens don't use the exclusive Tag. That would be interesting. Either way, no one in their right mind is handing Daniel Jones $45M or more per season. The guy and his agent are delusional.

I wouldn't mind if we snagged Julian Love and then drafted a guy on Day 3. Maybe a guy like JL Skinner, who could possibly drop because of a torn pec. Big, athletic freak type of player who loves to hit people.
