  1. For a 2024 7th
  2. Milano is one of those guys I want to be a Bill for life. Great move.
  3. Wouldn't it be hilarious if Rodgers is like, "Nope, I think I'll stay here."?
  4. I think I would have taken my chances to see how his health played out. The FT is only like $10M more.
  5. Yeah, over $235M more.
  6. Great. Here comes the all defense draft.
  7. Swing that trade if someone is willing to give us a decent return. He's not going to get $18-$20M from us either. Sorry guy, better pack those saddle bags.
  8. Adam Thielen watch? Uhhh.....
  9. Pretty sure a couple of people had mentioned we should go after him via trade. Too late now. The Jets got him for a 2024 7th Round pick. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/03/09/jets-agree-to-trade-for-chuck-clark/
  10. Unless the Jets fix their OL, Rodgers will loathe a decision to go there (if he actually goes through with it). I've seen the rankings vary online having the Packers OL ranked from as high as 3rd to the lowest being 10th. The highest ranking I could find for the Jets OL? 20th. Yeah. If that's not corrected then Rodgers is going to take a beating. And we're talking about 40 year old A-Rod versus 30 year old A-Rod. Can you imagine him taking a shot from Milano like Mike White took? He's folding up like a lawn chair as well. I'm not scared of Aaron Rodgers going to NY/NJ/Whatever. I also still think he's too greedy at this stage to be willing to give up 10%+ of his salary in the form of NY state taxes.
  11. The talk of collusion against Lamar by the bobbleheads in "Sports Media", and the gullible who run with it, is ridiculous. I don't care if he's won an MVP. I don't care how much they try to talk him up. He's only had one season where he's thrown for more than 3,000 yards. He's also finished the last two years injured, having missed at least 5 games in 2021 and 2022. If he had not been injured, he likely would have had at least two more seasons over 3,000 yards. That's still nothing truly prolific, or in line with the upper echelon QB's in the NFL. The Browns did something stupid. Everyone knew it when it happened and everyone still knows it now. It doesn't force anyone else to cave into the same stupidity as Cleveland's management. The facts of the situation are: 1. Any team who wants to sign him has to fork over TWO 1st Round picks to the Ravens. 2. On top of having to cough up TWO 1st Round picks, that team then has to be willing to cave to Lamar's contract demands. Which team in the NFL is going to give up TWO 1st Round picks for a QB with a single 3,000 passing campaign (MVP or not), who wants more than $235M gtd, and has missed 11 games over the last two seasons due to injury? None of them. The media was trying to talk it up like 4 or 5 teams were going to be in some kind of bidding war for the guy. Now that their stories have fallen flat it's "collusion" by the NFL owners against Lamar. Really? So dumb. It can't possibly be that no team sees the risk outweighing the possible reward. Nooooo, not that. It can't be that none of them want to take that leap as an individual organization. No, it has to be that all of them have decided to do this together. Dumb. Lamar is one of the most elite athletes in the NFL. He's fun to watch. But the value he has placed upon himself, based off of one organization's irrational decision, and his "negotiating" tactics will blow up in his face. It seems to have somewhat already.
  12. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams both got restructured. The Chargers are getting the band back together for at least one more season. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/03/09/chargers-restructure-keenan-allen-mike-williams-contract/
  13. Fine by me. I don't want Beane to overpay either of them. Poyer is about to be 32 and Tremaine wants Warner/Roquan type $$$. Thank you for your service. ✌️✌️
  14. Pete Carroll is an everything guy at this point. He's been around this game long enough in both the NFL and College to have had his hands in all of it. He got the absolute most out of Wilson, who looked like a bum this year away from Seattle. Now he is getting the most out of Geno in his time as the starting QB. The same Geno who had accomplished 0 to this point.
  15. Really? And Geno purposely waited until last season to accomplish anything for what? Like I said before, Pete Carroll is a genius who can get the absolute most out of a QB. If Geno were ANYWHERE else, he would be backup material.
  16. Homey cashed in. Good for him. You're delusional though and the Giants are in this spot because they didn't trust Daniel Jones enough to exercise his 5th year option for like $20M. Now they have to pay him double. But, that was all part of their master plan huh?
  17. Suuuurrrrrrre, that's why they're in this situation and not having him play out his 5th year option right now.
  18. The further along this goes, I think it doesn't end the way Lamar hopes. I know he's trying to keep every $$$ he can, but he should have hired an agent long ago imo. He probably would have had a big $$$ contract already. I can't see someone giving up more than $235M gtd with his playing style and how he has finished the last two seasons injured. He just turned 26 and could still get at least 1 more big contract in, if not 2.
  19. This allowed them to tag Barkley also. That's a win for the G-Men at least.
  20. A mediocre QB for the entirety of his 3 years, has his best year under Brian Daboll, a year which saw him throw 15 whole TD passes, and the Giants are handing him $40M per season. ............
  21. Yeah, no. Not a SB favorite.
  22. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/03/07/report-jets-officials-flying-out-to-meet-with-aaron-rodgers-on-tuesday/
  23. "Aaron Rodgers is talking to the Jets" People on TSW
  24. Said it from day one, this guy shouldn't be in the league. Ray Rice was blackballed for knocking his wife out, but Mixon gets drafted and rewarded with millions of dollars. Now his wonderful persona rears it's head again in the last few weeks. Charges that were "dropped" for menacing, like we were shocked to hear that happened. Now this, a juvenile gets shot in his home. These things aren't just coincidence.
  25. Pete Carroll makes another average QB stupid rich.
