Really good game for von to become von again
H2o replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
There have been 0 indicators that Von is on the verge of making any sort of impact. Watching him last week, he couldn't even beat anyone on the Jets putrid OL. Instead he kept trying to "speed rush" and would end up 5 yards past the QB. I'd rather Von play a heck of a lot less this week because that type of stupidity will leave Jalen Hurts running lanes to gash us on the ground. -
I'm already tired of hearing Dak with his snap count ~ "Yeaaaaahhhhh, here we gooooo, that's it" ~ Or whatever the heck he's saying The Dallas OL is better suited for that than ours

Nice. The guy I'm playing in FF, Goff is his QB

Irsay On 2014 Arrest - Happened Because He's A White Billionaire
H2o replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember seeing that video when it first happened. I was thinking, "Sheesh, this guy is almost comatose behind the wheel." For him to say it happened due to white billionaire oppression is idiotic on a whole new level. -
Josh has solidly been in the MVP convo for 4 years now. He is widely recognized as a top 5 QB in the NFL, except by those who usually still have an ax to grind for whatever petty reasoning they hold onto. He is always around 5,000 total yards or more every season and about 45 TD's during this stretch. When you take into account what he's had around him, these numbers really come into perspective. There is no QB in the NFL who has accomplished more with less. The only one even close is Lamar, but Lamar has always had a better OL by far and that system they run was tailor made for him. Josh has been this team's entire offense since he stepped on the field. They brought in one, single, legit weapon in Diggs and Josh exploded. Imagine if Josh had played with Tyreke Hill and Travis Kelce, with Reid and Bienemy coaching him. Imagine if Josh's WR room was Jamar Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd. Imagine if Josh had Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, AB, and Gronk a few years back like Brady did. Heck, imagine if Josh had Tyreke Hill, Jalen Waddle, and the healthy stable of RB's the Dolphins had at the beginning of the year when they were hanging 70 on Denver. Even still, Josh has produced at an elite level for 4 straight years. The bobbleheads and clowns always want to focus on his turnovers. But when you're doing more, with less, than any other elite QB in the league, when you're constantly having to wear the Superman cape, then there will be some bad mixed in with the good. Despite leading the league in turnovers the last 6 years, which they absolutely LOVE to talk about, he also has accounted for THE MOST TD's ever, you know, in the HISTORY of the game, over a player's first 6 years. And he still has 6 games left to go. Romo got one thing right, and that was when he called Josh an alien. The guy makes throws that no other QB can make on the field. The windows he fits the ball into, at the velocity those throws come in at, from different stances or arm angles, is just unreal. On balance, off balance, throwing back across his body, from one side of the field to the other, and 60 yards or more in the air. It's a thing of beauty. Has Josh reached his ceiling? Depends on what they put around him. Even if this is his ceiling, a record breaking, consistently top 5 QB who is legitimately in the MVP convo isn't that bad. If they add a legit #2 this off-season, Shakir continues to develop in the Slot, Kincaid at the TE position, and Josh grows even more adept to taking what the defense gives him? Watch out.

Irsay On 2014 Arrest - Happened Because He's A White Billionaire
H2o replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Either he has trouble with the English language or it almost seems he may have been blitzed typing his response. That white billionaire oppression is hard to live with on a daily basis I guess. The only way to comfort one's self is to brag about the $$$ you (supposedly) hand out looking for the ole "atta boy" and pat on the back. -
McNugget has a grand total of 11 catches for 82 yards on a WR depleted team. He has 4 KO returns averaging 25 yds a pop and 18 PR averaging 9 yds a pop. Deonte Harty's contract is an easy out next year at $1.3M in dead money. Hines can be cut for $500K. Oh no! $2M in dead money! Ahhhhhhhh! Nothing about this situation is Beane messing anything up "big time" at all. Yeah, it's really quite the opposite.

Inherited from daddy who parlayed heating and air businesses into enough money to buy the Colts. . -
Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to my Mafia family here and abroad. Enjoy the food, loved ones, family, and friends. Be thankful, as best you can because I know some people are going through some things, for these moments. Be blessed everyone.

All white UNIFORMS for Bills against the Eagles Sunday afternoon.
H2o replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like the contrast of the White on White vs. the Kelly Green's. Should make everyone clearly visible to the opponent. Hopefully the fans cheering for the Kelly Green's are singing the Blues when the clock hit :00 in the 4th. -
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38957988/jim-irsay-cites-status-white-billionaire-2014-arrest He might be the next sports owner semi-forced out. If anything, it's the other way around. Billionaires get away with murder compared to the average Joe like you or me. It couldn't be the fact that he was wasted, nooooooo. Pretty much everything that comes out of this guy's mouth is tone deaf or ridiculous. I can't believe he's made it this long.

This is a fun way to pass a little time. I had the Bills lose one more game between either Philly or Dallas and I picked us to beat KC. The season came down to week 18 against the Dolphins. Picked us to beat Miami in Miami giving us the Division for the 4th year in a row and the #4 seed. It also knocks Miami out of the Playoffs entirely, having them lose the last 3 weeks of the year to Dallas, Baltimore, and then Buffalo in week 18. It would be a bitter pill to swallow for Dolphins fans.

‘Bye, Bye Barry’ (Sanders) documentary released on prime video
H2o replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Barry Sanders was the greatest RB I've ever seen and I'm almost 47 years old. My memory goes back to the likes of Marcus Allen, John Riggins, Roger Craig, Walter Payton, and Tony Dorsett. I remember them all and everyone I have seen after that. It's crazy to think that both Barry and Thurman were on the same team at Oklahoma St. Barry was literally 0-100 on the field. He could stop and be at full speed within about three steps. I've never seen anything like it. He could also juke at full speed without losing any of that speed. He was out there breaking ankles for 10 years. It really was fun to watch. The useless regurgitation about his Playoff performances is the same mess that Scott Mitchell is out here whining about. Barry was basically the sole reason those teams even made the Playoffs at any point during his career. He carried Wayne Fontes AND that franchise. Everyone knew the only thing the Lions had was Barry, so when the Playoffs came they sold out on that fact. It's why Detroit only won one game once they made the Playoffs. He did NOT have the help around him to go any further, and this SURELY includes QB play. Barry's lowest total of rushing yards came in 1993 when he rushed for 1,115 yards, and that came in 11 games. Other than that, his lowest total was 1,304 yards. For his career he averaged right at 1,527 yards per season. That's insane. If he would have played as long as Emmitt Smith did, he would have had over 20,000 yards rushing when he finished up. If you put Barry behind those Dallas OL's of the 90's and he's running for 2,000 per season for like 5 or 6 years in a row. There was no one like him during his time in the NFL, and I have seen no one like him since. -
The buck starts and stops at Sean. He has passed it around to the other coordinators as much as possible. Dorsey probably deserved it, and I'm fairly certain we were all done with the Tampon 2 defense. Still, all of this is under McDermott's watch. The AFC title game debacle, 13 seconds, the friction with Daboll, the meddling, the hirings on the staff, the firings on the staff, the performance in against the Bengals in last year's Playoffs, it's all him. At some point he has to be held accountable.
-
This is pretty shocking to me. I know he had called out the new staff for not clueing him in on what they thought his issues were. He was an All Pro a short time ago.
