  1. Did you just compare Keon Coleman to JA17 in a roundabout way? I don't think I've heard anyone say Keon has the "potential" to be the generational talent like they did with Josh at the QB position. You saw the flashes of brilliance with Josh. I can't say that there is anything "generational" I have seen from Coleman. It's not a hot take, it's what you see on film. He has trouble separating. He also is not very consistent like GB mentions above in his route running and whatnot. A lot of the times you see the hand-fighting and push-offs so he can have enough separation to get the ball at the catch point. Now does he do well with the ball in the air, and contested catches? Yes. But we need a guy who can shake free and get loose from any defender, who is also more than what Keon Coleman is. GB says late 2nd, but I wouldn't spend anything higher than a 3rd. We don't have a 3rd (thanks NFL). Now take into account, this below is a "highlight reel" so it doesn't show the disappearing act that would take place. It doesn't show him being locked down by opposing DB's or him not being able to shake coverage. But even in the highlights, you see what I'm talking about.
  2. If you read through the thread, you will see my short discussion with mannc on this topic. We need that go-to, game breaker WR. Not a guy who is on fire 2 weeks out of 12. We just had one of those, the NFL version. That's a pass from me.
  3. Travis broke his leg on November 18, 2023. There were two games after that. He averaged 12 yards per return on punts, and that's with having one of 72 yards. Without the one he averaged 9.5 yards per return. Wow. I'm not buying what you're selling on Coleman.
  4. I, personally, don't like him because of the same things KDIGGZ was talking about. He doesn't really separate. He's not really going to give you anything after the catch. He basically uses his body to box out smaller DB's. It worked in college to a certain extent, and it's not bad to have in the Red Zone, but it's not 1st Round, #28 worthy in hopes that he is going to become a legit boundary threat in the NFL. He'll be average at best. A 3rd or 4th WR. More than 1/3 of his season yardage totals and TD's came in 2 games, LSU and against Syracuse. He played in 10 others to the tune of 396 yards and 7 TD's. He's the college version of what Gabe Davis was for us in the NFL. I'd be extremely disappointed if Beane turned in that card.
  5. Please, dear Lord, DO NOT let the Bills draft Keon Coleman. PLEASE.
  6. I would 🤮 if we took Robinson. I'd rather draft Braswell than Robinson. Robinson has a total of 60 tackles, 20 TFL's, and 11.5 sacks in three seasons. That's 20 tackles, 6.6 TFL's, and 3.8 sacks per year. This past season, in 10 games played, he had a whopping 15 total tackles, 7.5 TFL's, and 4 sacks. That's 1.5 tackles per game, .75 TFL's, and .4 sacks per game. Two of those sacks were against UMass and another was against Rutgers. He put up goose eggs across the board, as in did absolutely nothing, against Northwestern, Ohio St., and Michigan. Most college players who can't even dominate at that level, typically don't turn into some monster when they get to the NFL against the best players. I could care less about anything he did in the Underwear Olympics. Dude is a bust just waiting to happen. I hope someone else is stupid enough to make that mistake before us just so it's not even an option.
  7. Just ran this one. Not sure about everyone else, but I would be pretty content if it fell like this. I moved back one time in the 4th.
  8. Milano and Bernard together were a force in this defense early, before the injury took Milano out for the season. I want to see them together for a full year. I think those two playing behind a revamped interior is going to pay big dividends.
  9. I think it could be addition by subtraction. Josh will no longer have to deal with someone feeling they should get the ball on every play, and all of the dramatics behind the scenes. Now he can just go play ball again. No one is saying Diggs isn't talented, it's just going to be a better vibe without all of the nonsense imo. Josh will spread the ball around. People will make plays in the receiving corps. Josh will still put up big numbers and be in the MVP convo.
  10. I have heard this going around about Nabers possibly being the first WR off of the board as well. I would do a backflip in my living room if Nabers is on the board and Goodell walks to the podium, "We have a trade... yada, yada, yada, the Buffalo Bills are on the clock."
  11. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/trent-baalke-josh-allen-is-a-cornerstone-of-our-defense This is the 2nd DE to get PAID in the last couple of weeks. Brian Burns also got $141M, but $87.5M GTD. We'll have Rousseau for two more years on his current contract. But if he continues to improve, then that price tag is going to be hefty.
  12. Indeed he did. I was already prepared to take Daniels. I had the entire message typed up, videos linked in, and was just waiting to post it. Then, he took Daniels instead
  13. With the 2nd pick, in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Washington Commanders select............. Caleb Williams, Quarterback, USC The Bears definitely tossed a knuckle-curve with the 1st selection, but we were ABSOLUTELY good with multiple guys here. Caleb is a supremely talented prospect at the QB position who can make every throw on a football field. He checks every box. He has elusiveness in the pocket. He can make off script throws from various body positions or arm angles. He can run enough to keep a defense honest. Williams and Kingsbury will Make Offense Great Again in the Nation's capital. Welcome home young man, welcome home. @section122 and the New England Patriots are on the clock (P.S. - I had to redo my stuff because mannc did what he did )
  14. You dirty mutha fudger
  15. My son wanted me to stop driving my car when the odometer hit that number because it spelled "BOOBS" Well played Alpha, well played
  16. I'm going with Gabriel Murphy / Edge / UCLA. Most people have him listed between the 3rd and 5th Rounds from what I see. I see a guy who plays with good power, has a decent little swim move, has adequate bend, a solid closing burst, and gets lined up in multiple places. I think at the least he will be a solid rotational guy who gets 5-7 sacks a season. #11 in the video.
  17. Definitely disagree with this one. Go watch any of the film from him at Oklahoma and you will see why he was benched in favor of Caleb Williams. He had Lincoln Riley as his HC, the same guy who coached Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray to Heisman Trophy's. Then he did an excellent job helping to rebuild Jalen Hurts' stock. Rattler couldn't be "the guy" under that HC. It would have been the same at Washington, LSU, Oregon, Michigan, or Florida St. He's really nothing special at all and he just doesn't have that "it" factor you look for in a QB either. The guy is nothing like Mahomes, in any way.
  18. Washington, Carolina, or Jax
  19. I haven't watched basketball in general, except a Duke game here or there (favorite team since the mid 80's), since 2019. I haven't watched the Final Four since 2022, and I haven't watched a National Championship game in 9 years. The interest just isn't there anymore.
  20. Burks has had injury woes, playing only 22 of a possible 34 games, and has been invisible otherwise for the most part. That's a pass from me.
  21. With the 92nd pick, in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select....... Mason McCormick / G / South Dakota St. It's back to the trenches again. McCormick is a super athletic Guard prospect who is coming from an FCS school where he dominated. He then gets an invite to the Shrine Bowl where he impressed scouts there. Then he goes on to the Combine and checks every athletic box you could possibly hope for, coming in at 7th best ALL TIME. The only box he didn't check at the Combine was the bench and he hit 32 reps at his Pro Day. He started the last 57 games of his career so he's also durable. We like the value here in a guy who could be something special on the interior of our OL. @Virgil and the Baltimore Ravens are on the clock.
  22. With the 89th pick, in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select....... Max Melton / CB / Rutgers. Our CB room needs some work too. Zyon McCollum isn't really starter material. Melton had a solid season for Rutgers, showed well at the Senior Bowl, and then had a good athletic showing at the combine. We like what Melton offers at this spot. He has solid ball skills and is not afraid to stick his head in there against the run. He had 4 TFL's, 1 sack, 6 PBU's, 3 INT's, and a FF on the season. He also has versatility to play both outside on the boundary and inside in the Slot. We think he will challenge for a starting position even as a rookie, and will be a solid contributor even if it is in an early rotational role. @gonzo1105 and the Arizona Cardinals are on the clock.
  23. Sorry DeArdo
