  1. He's just there looking for an Asian girl with soft hands.
  2. I just laughed out loud at work and people are sticking their head in my office asking "what's so funny?"
  3. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/chiefs-patrick-mahomes-struggling-with-turnovers-early-in-camp/ I believe we all know how last year turned out for this guy, right?
  4. It's no Joe Montana's house, I'll tell you that
  5. This is what happens when you practice at home in LV loafers.
  6. Hold up........Gaines is injured already? https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2015/02/the-genetics-of-being-injury-prone/385257/
  7. If the offense comes out rolling then expect them to only play a couple of series. If they seem to struggle I would expect them to see a bit more time.
  8. I'm just saying that people get all geeked out over a few miscues in practice around here. An errant pass, a misread of coverage, everything is the end of the world here when it comes to JA. I think the philosophy that Nagy and the Bears have with Trubisky is similar to what our staff is doing right now with Allen.
  9. When Ereck Flowers is a starter on your OL a lot of things seem like "a better fit"
  10. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/08/06/bears-feel-this-is-the-time-to-push-the-envelope-offensively/ For all of those freaking out about some practice woes at times thus far in camp this article about sums it all up. "Trubisky said on Monday that that the offense has “been in a lot of situations this camp that we haven’t seen in the past couple years or in practices” and working through those situations has led to some errors. Quarterbacks coach Dave Ragone said that “this is the time to push the envelope” because you can work to correct anything that goes wrong and head coach Matt Nagy also espoused the belief that practice is a time for measured responses to miscues."
  11. Does anyone really believe he will ever wear a uni other than that of the Pats*? I know his ego drives him most of the time, but I don't see it happening.
  12. I know it will be on live when I watch that feed from the website I use.
  13. The Jets are still meh. I can't wait for the excuses to pour from all of the bobbleheads this year once reality sets in that they aren't the next team on the rise in the AFCE. They will be average at best. I don't see them making it to .500 even. If they lose that first game to us (which I believe they will) they could very easily start out 0-7.
  14. Like already noted, this largely falls on the shoulders of Allen. He carried us last year with his legs a lot of times. Let's hope this year he can carry us with his arm as well. Despite the injuries we have seen thus far in camp the OL still looks a hell of a lot better than what we trotted out on the field last year. The WR group is a hell of a lot better than the one we trotted on on the field last year. The RB group is a hell of a lot better than the one we trotted out on the field last year. The Secondary should be improved with the additions we have made. A healthy Murphy will also go along way to adding to the pass rush, if indeed he can stay healthy. Edmunds has had a full offseason of work and should continue to improve. Milano going into his 3rd year. Can Lorax keep playing at the level he played last year and can Oliver fill Kyle's shoes admirably enough? Can the defense be stout enough up front against the run and can we get to the QB?
  15. He played well last year after I doubted him.....until the playoff game. That wet noodle arm was on display for all then.
  16. Mitch Morse sent me this. Blame him. He's really concussed. P.S. - Learn to recognize sarcasm.
  17. Bills attempt at rebuilding the OL........
  18. Cleveland is going to win that division this year. Baker is that dude. I know there are a few diva's on their squad, but they are easily the most talented team in the AFC North. They have an outstanding group of skill players on the offensive side of the ball and that defense is going to be solid if nothing else. You also have to remember that they get Kareem Hunt back after week 8. You'd be hard pressed to find a better group of RB's in the league on any one team than Chubb, Hunt, and Johnson.
  19. I will be completely disgusted if the Pats* pull this one off.
  20. It's amazing how Reilly's popularity is almost Chroise level around here.
  21. I almost feel an obligation to watch. Seriously though, I will probably watch the first quarter just to say I have seen football on TV and then do something else. We just bought a house and I have a lot of things to get done before we move into it in about 3 weeks. I am not going to waste too much time, but will tune in early for a few.
  22. We'll see once Brees hangs up the cleats.
