  1. Oliver will shake the screen if he gets a clean run on him though.
  2. Life was better without all of this social media bs. I wouldn't trade my Bills brethren for anything though.
  3. I just don't feel that throwing Zeke into the mix now would work out as well. If this had been before TC when he had time to get in here and gel with everyone then I would feel different. I'm not against the idea because you can obviously get a top 3 RB for the next 4 or 5 years. We have the money, we have a good team minus a few pieces elsewhere, and we are on the rise in the AFC. The biggest question I have would be if he fits with this team? Would he fit with the rest of the guys, would he mesh with the staff, and would he be all in on the culture we are building here? I have said I believe this team is special. I think we are going to the playoffs and not just getting to the first round this time. I just don't know if Elliott is someone who would be a piece that puts us over the top. I do see what it is you are saying and understand where you are coming from though. I also think that Jerry isn't going to budge on his stance until he sees regular season games without Zeke. If the Pollard kid is showing well, I think he might listen to offers. If the offense is struggling then I think he pays the man. Either way I don't believe this is something that will happen until a few weeks into the regular season, a trade to any team that is.
  4. The exact opposite. I like both. I just don't think Elliott puts us over the top. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be one of the posters who's head would explode if we did make such a trade though.
  5. Pssshhh, I'd give up a first for Barkley in a heartbeat. Gurley though? Hell no. He's Terrell Davis all over again. I'd give up a first for Zeke if I thought he was the missing piece to a championship. Sadly, he is not though. Then you have to give him 45 mill guaranteed at least. I could see him going to Houston, Tampa, GB, or Seattle though.
  6. Word, now if they would only pop Sam Darnold for an illegal substance in his hair product.
  7. Because I believe they will take a step back. They won't be 5-1 in their division this year, they don't play the NFC West, and their schedule as a whole this year is a lot tougher compared to last. I think they end up 9-7.
  8. Is this really a viable measurement of a successful TEAM, individual accolades? We have some really good players on both sides of the ball. With winning comes recognition. There will be a few guys who get that recognition this year when we are winning more games. There are numerous QB's who have made average WR's look better, getting them rich in the process, over the years. Josh is going to look a lot better with Beasley and Brown out there. The backfield is going to look better due to the OL improvements and additions to the unit. I also expect the offense to be able to sustain more drives this year which will help keep the defense fresh and the amount of big plays made will be on the rise. I expect more turnovers created by our group this year and a better overall TO differential. Time of possession and the turnover differential are better indicators of success than individual accolades.
  9. After a few big gains are busted off on run plays to his side McDermott and Frazier will use him as what he is, a situational pass rusher who can get you 8-10 sacks a year when healthy.
  10. Can you imagine the lawsuits that would arise from all of the incessant whiners these days? The game caused me trauma, this made me emotionally unstable, we were cheated, blah, blah, blah.....
  11. This is all hypothetical and based off of paper right now, but until we show it on the field I say these 5 are better. 1. Kansas City - Their offense from top to bottom is just downright scary with all of the weapons Mahomes has. 2. New England - They still have Tom Brady and BB. 3. New Orleans - The defense took a step forward last year and the offense hasn't been a problem since Brees. 4. Los Angeles Rams - Again, another dynamic offense and a defense that sports the best player in the game. 5. Cleveland Browns - Yes, the Browns. On paper that team is stacked. We'll have to see how the chemistry works out. With this being said, I again say I feel this team is special. We already had a stout defense and they took steps to improve the offense everywhere. The key will be Josh and I believe the young man will take a giant step forward this year. Not only do I think we make the playoffs, but I think we win at least one game in them. People/networks can publish all of the Power Rankings they want, PFF can spout their crap, and anyone else can say whatever they want. See what they are saying in January.
  12. Wonder if he was wearing his red contacts?
  13. Lamar Jackson Just wait until the season starts and Lamar goes into full RB mode again. The Chargers showed the formula. Just like with Tyrod and just like with Kaep, keep him in the pocket and he can't beat you with his arm.

  15. Dear God is he terrible. I remember his story about pissing himself as a player because it made guys not want to touch you on the field. Awkward TV moment with the rest of the set for sure. Not to mention he's dumb as a box of rocks.
  16. Stock put into anything from ESPN? 0.
  17. Meanwhile..... Jon Gruden is still looking for AB's marbles
  18. They have a rough schedule to open up the season. If they lose to us in Week 1 then they could be 0-7 to start out.
  19. Well, they just resigned Jaylon Smith. One down, 3 to go for the Jones'es. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/08/20/jaylon-smith-agrees-to-extension-with-cowboys/
  20. Yeah, so this guy looks credible with his 5,200 followers. In other words, 0 actual f***s are given about what this dork has to say.
  21. Fixed it for you. According to himself, Rosen is the next Aaron Rodgers.
  22. A good friend of mine is a Dolphins fan here at work. He hates Alonso. He says it was one of the biggest wastes of money his team made in recent years. He said aside from the fact he's a dirty player who does dumb things on the field, he is always out of position or a step late getting somewhere. His speed allows him to make tackles, but he should have made them 4 or 5 yards sooner if he would have been in the place he was supposed to be. Sounds like "The Legend of Kiko Alonso" was always just a myth.
