  1. I already had the feeling this team was special and talked about it through the offseason. I think we not only get to the playoffs, but win in the playoffs this year. I want to see how they come out of the bye week against Miami. I want to see a dominant performance in all facets given they've had rest and more than ample time to prepare. The only thing that makes me nervous is we either seem to play up to the level of the team we are facing or down to it in a sense. In the end, it's on Josh. If he limits his mistakes, because every QB is going to make them, and doesn't throw the bad interception or take the bad sack then this team has the chance to be standing on the podium in February. Look at the Ravens teams that won the SB, the Tampa team, the Steelers team that won in '06, they all won with defense and just enough offense. If Josh can not put us in bad situations, take what the defense gives him, and play smart football for the rest of the season then why not us?
  2. Mutha ....... I don't know if I can take 3 hours of listening to that blithering idiot Dan Fouts again. Maybe I will watch the Dolphins and Skins.
  3. They should just go out and execute
  4. Gotta love when the family members chime in with their dumb*** 2 cents. How about if your boy didn't have stone hands, t-rex arms, and played like he wasn't the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz out there then maybe, just MAYBE, he would have been successful in Buffalo. But please, continue to tell me how your son's struggles are someone else's fault.
  5. I told you these guys were COMPLETE ######s, but no one wanted to listen. The PFF company vehicle.......
  6. This will be the gameplan against Lamar when we face the Ravens later this year as well.
  7. Yeah, I think I'll watch Houston and KC
  8. I can't stand this guy. I don't know if it is his pompous attitude or his lisp that bothers me more. I think it's a combination of everything.
  9. Someone, anyone, get Eli's agent on the phone
  10. Can't see it. McDermott will have these guys ready to go coming off of the bye. Guys will have had a couple of weeks to heal up and we will also have Singletary back, which is a HUGE boost to the offense imo.
  11. If we keep winning games then guys will get recognized. The ole cause-and-effect principle.
  12. Daboll and Frazier will be mentioned for HC gigs, but it doesn't mean that either will take them. Washington is a toxic wasteland right now. I don't know who would take that job to be honest. You would have to work hand in hand with Allen first off, who is a complete dumb***. Second, you have a meddling owner who can't keep his hands out of the personnel decisions and is buddy, buddy with the other guy you're working hand in hand with.
  13. Because of the 4th down stop on Williams against his old team basically sealing the game for Indy is my guess.
  14. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't remember if anyone had proven it beyond a shadow of a doubt before. And, yes, Jeff was definitely one who stayed in his "feels" all the time. I thought his Chiefs fandom may have brought him some kind of inner peace which was the cause of the tone-down so to speak.
  15. Another Gordon/Green thread
  16. Yes, Jeffismagic was his name originally. I guess when his allegiances changed so did his name, kinda like Bruce to Caitlyn.
  17. Oh, he's only been a Chiefs fan since Mahomes got drafted by them. His roots were only as deep as his man-crush allowed.
  18. I'm not saying he's been bad by any means. He has been a quality signing. He and Feliciano probably grade out about even imo. I would start Feliciano over him on the left side because of the mean streak Mongo brings to the line without there being really a drop off. Now, I haven't keyed in on Spain as much. I do know that he has has been solid though. Either way Mongo, or Spain, or whomever it is we have been putting on the field have been upgrades over the tragedy that was the OL last year.
  19. He and Frazier working in tandem with one another has been amazing to watch over the last 3 years. I hope we can keep this staff together for at least another 3. I also have complete trust in Brandon Beane. If we can keep this together, in that I time I expect these modern era Bills to exorcise the ghosts of Bills teams past.
  20. I was just talking about this yesterday with a couple of fellow Bills fans. I think our best 5, and probably most consistent OL, would be Dawkins-Feliciano-Morse-Ford-Bates. One wanted to argue as to why I had Spain on the bench? I told him it's pretty simple, because Feliciano is the better all around OL'man. I think Ford would shine at RG as well. Spain can serve as solid depth in case anything happens to either of the other OG's in the starting lineup. Despite their struggles against the Pats, this OL is CLEARLY two steps above what we put on the field last year.
  21. What does this really say if true? You would like to think it's for a backup job, but how does that make any sense? Completely perplexing. I hope this isn't true. If it is then wtf?
  22. Agreed, I think it is just blind homerism.
  23. I know I also somewhat miss TSW whipping boy Dunkirk Don/Chadwick Chad. He was good for some comedy gold every now and again, when he was being all annoying and .
