  1. The "Madden Curse" has mutated this year into L's instead of season ending injury.
  2. They have to try and appear they aren't trying to lose, but still lose on purpose at the end.
  3. That KC defense is still suspect
  4. So, how about those 16-0 Chiefs @Zerovoltz
  5. Did anyone not see this coming when the decision to go for two was made?
  6. I can see the Pats being all over this and him making an immediate impact for them.
  7. I think that LSU runs the table and that a 1 loss Alabama gets left out because the other teams go undefeated as well. I like Wisconsin too, but I think Ohio St. just has too much fire power for them to keep up. I don't see anyone in the Big 12 beating OU. They actually have something that resembles a defense this year as well which is a little scary. Clemson is going to breeze through the ACC, but this year they are SURELY beatable and I expect them to lose in the CFP Semi's. In the end I am expecting an LSU vs. OU title game with LSU taking home the hardware.
  8. In the end I think it will be: 1. LSU 2. Clemson vs. ---------- vs. 4. Ohio St. 3. Oklahoma
  9. For that QB to be a Freshman, in that environment, and against the Irish defense his performance was impressive. St. Brown reminds me of Golden Tate and I think he has a nice career ahead of him at the next level. All they need is experience and a few more pieces on defense. I don't like the coach either. If Urban Meyer goes to USC (heard the rumors)they are going to be on top again very, VERY soon.
  10. Metcalf was a physical freak coming out of college, but he wasn't even the best or most productive WR on his team. That title was reserved for AJ Brown. Also, Metcalf has had a pretty serious injury already with his neck issue. He doesn't run a full route tree yet, but that doesn't mean he won't at some point. You know he is good for a go route or a fade starting off. I expect his game to broaden as he continues to work on his craft. He may end up being a great player or he may end up being a one trick pony, who knows at this point. Our team needed a complete makeover on the OL and they addressed that through FA and with Ford in the draft. We're 5 games in for either guy. I think it's pretty impossible at this point to speak as if we know for certain which player is going to turn out to be the better of the two in regards to their effectiveness at their respective positions.
  11. It depends on how FA shakes out. Lamb may end up being a very good NFL player, but I doubt he will be available at the point we will be selecting.
  12. 18-1 baby!!! Go Bills!!! ~ The Senator
  13. No, not even if they brought Gase back and played their 3rd string.
  14. Miami as well. The Canes are a huge draw when they are up. Clemson just breezes through the regular season every year for the most part. The SEC has killed the ACC in recruiting, especially in the state of Florida the last few years. When Jimbo Fisher left FSU it was a wrap.
  15. I would, but I would start them at the 40 versus the 25.
  16. Noob
  17. It feels like 2 years ago when Lady Luck was on our side the way things are going right now. The difference this time is we have a better all around team to go with the breaks we've been catching. The defense is better, the OL is better, and the overall depth is better. Teams of destiny seem to experience things like this. Let's just hope the bounces continue to go our way.
  18. It couldn't happen to a better franchise.....if it does.
  19. Wonder which poster will be the first to start the "Trade for OBJ" thread chain?
  20. I like two college rules, the targeting rule they use and how they say a player is down once they hit the ground. I would also like to see the NFL adopt more of a college style of overtime as well.
  21. That Baltimore defense has been pretty crappy thus far. They are in the 20's in total defense this year and have gotten shredded in a couple of games. Lamar Jackson worries me because of his legs and not his arm. Either way, I believe every game on our schedule is winnable where I wouldn't have had the slightest bit of confidence in saying that years past.
  22. And that is a reasonable answer that I don't believe anyone can argue with. I do believe we have assembled a team that can do it though as long as they 1) don't shoot themselves in the foot and 2) make the most of their opportunities.
