Part of me thinks it's a money grab, but part of me thinks it's a woman who is completely disgusted by an individual who did her wrong. She filed a Civil suit because it only takes a majority. In cases like this a criminal conviction is harder to obtain. The Civil suit also only involves $$$. OJ won the criminal case, but lost the Civil suit. Who knows what the heck is going on here really? I don't know if things will be any more clear after statements by any or all parties involved. One thing I do believe is clear is, outside of some completely damning evidence coming out against Antonio Brown, he will be suiting up for the Pats the rest of the season.

Pretty sure they said he was only running on a treadmill. He's still expected to be out a few more weeks from what I read as well. We will likely be dealing with Boyd and Ross, but no AJ.

The real potential BIG Problem for DTV and Football
H2o replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I like to watch too many live sports to be cancelling ESPN. I also like to be able to get up and watch highlights in the morning before work. I'll stick with Comcast. I watch all of the sporting events I can't see on TV via online anyway. -
My father passed away last July from cancer. I loved him and we were on alright terms, but throughout life it was hit or miss with him being a part of it. He fell off the map for 4 years when I was 9 and showed back up when I was 13, even though he only lived about 8 miles away with my stepmother and her kids. He hung around until I graduated then life kept us apart for the next 5 years. He then moved to South Carolina for the next 7 years returning when my 2nd son was born. After that it seemed he was trying to make up for lost time and we were really close for a while. He was always coming over to eat dinner with us and playing with the kids. About 3 years of that and he met a woman he would begin dating. I read her like a book in the beginning, but gave her the benefit of the doubt. After about 2 years she began to cause a divide between us in various ways. For the last 2 years of his life we only spoke a handful of times. When she called me and said the doctor was only giving him 24 hours lo live I was right by his side. There were a lot of things that took place after that within those 24 hours. Very unsettling actions, statements, and conversations I either witnessed or was a part of. What I do know in all of that is I was there with my father when he passed. I made sure he was made comfortable in the ways I knew possible and even put my phone up to his ear playing some of his favorite songs so he could hear them one last time. I get along with my mother and stepfather seeing them on a regular basis. They raised me pretty much so things are a bit different. I couldn't live with them as I am too independent and have particular ways about how I keep things. We are different in those respects so the 45 minute distance between us works out fine.

It's amazing how the events of life, such as a tragedy or the birth of a child, can bring such clarity in moments where our emotions are desperately trying to override that still and soft voice within. I love your perspective my friend. The only thing we are left with in the end is how we carry ourselves and the legacy we leave through the story our lives tell, whether it be through children, friends, or other loved ones. Thank you for sharing.

A lot of these ASSessments are lazy at best.

So, you're saying you don't expect to see Terry dancing with Cardi B anytime soon? Look at Bob's face...... Bob: "Ohhhhh yeah, bring them soft hands over here......mmhmm...."

Jets WR Quincy Enunwa out for the season with neck injury

Talented player, but one would now have to believe his career is over. Makes me think of A. Williams. I wish a speedy recovery to the young man and a full life outside of football. -
This day, 18 years ago, is one of the days etched into your heart and memory forever. I remember where I was, what I was doing, and the state of complete shock that came over me as we huddled in the office trailer to watch the events unfold on live TV. A special prayer goes out to the friends and families of those who lost loved ones in the tragic events that took place that day. It is still hard to comprehend at times. One thing is for certain, that event changed everything and the resilience of the American people shone through. Not only did it show through among one another, it showed out to the rest of the world.

Will Patriots release Antonio Brown?
H2o replied to BrycePaup4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I highly doubt it. This is the team that kept Aaron Hernandez despite all of the rumblings BEFORE he finally got arrested. -
I honestly believe the Cowboys/Pats game might be a Super Bowl preview. The Cowboys are probably the most complete team in the NFC imo. Can they be beaten? Of course, but I think they have the type of defense and OL that can carry a team in the post season. The Pats are the Pats and will be until someone knocks them off when it matters.

Patriots trade Demaryius Thomas to Jets
H2o replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm feeling that it's 2007 all over again. The only record they don't have is an undefeated season. I think it irks Brady the most because that one got away, maybe Hoodie too. Whether they can actually do it or not, who knows. I think there are a couple of teams built like the 2007 Giants that can get'm though. -

Jordan Poyer / Antonio Brown vendetta twice a year...
H2o replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It will hurt them more if we just go out and get the victory. In the process I hope that AB is extremely frustrated and turns back into the little princess he is causing a teenage girlish outburst that infects the locker room. I hate to see players get injured. -
Schein: Nine most alluring developments of Week 1
H2o replied to ProcessYaDigg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm taking this season one week at a time this year. I always try to look ahead and over the last 20 years it has mainly been disappointment. Let's go back to NJ this week and try to get to 2-0 against the Giants. I too have said I felt this team was special, that we would make the playoffs, and actually win a playoff game this year. Now that the season is on I'm not saying a word except let's take care of this week and worry about the next when it gets here. -
The Jets are ESPN, and generally, media "darlings" right now because of Sam Darnold and Le'Veon Bell. They wanted to see them win. The commentators during Sunday's game basically drooled on themselves every time the Jets made a positive play of some kind. Glad we could ruin it for them all and create a downward spiral internally in the process. They are not going to give us those calls until, like other posters have noted, we start consistently winning games and the NFL decides to market us like they do other teams.

In his defense I would hope that he just happened to stumble when trying to get up. It is pretty convenient that he stumbles and falls right into the back of Josh's leg though.

I've listened to rap music for over 30 years now. I go back to UTFO and Run DMC. I listen to other music as well, but rap is the main genre I listen to. All of these new "rappers" are mostly sh*t. They have no talent, just a good executive producer and the backing of a premier label. They make popular who they want to make popular. I guess they are trying to make sure they keep the younger crowd interested by doing these types of things. It was what I would expect as far as a show goes from one of these new types.
