This is NOT the Josh McDaniels offense. It is not. You are sadly mistaken my friend. This offense has more college concepts than pro and Daboll does a pretty job calling a game.

Kenyan drake trade to AZ reported (edited title)
H2o replied to 0017's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Daboll is really starting to show up as a liability imo. Every game this year he comes with these completely head-scratching play calls. Your starting QB has already had 1 concussion this year, and guys are clearly looking to go after him on defense, but you are calling 5 designed run plays with your QB? There is no creativity in the run game. I can't remember seeing the first rub route yesterday, the type the Pats use legally all the time, to help guys get open underneath. What the hell is Lee Smith still doing on the field? He doesn't use motion to help create space. Outside of John Brown the WR's aren't doing much of anything right. I have a feeling that Daboll is trying to be too complicated with the offense and is basically up the whole situation. The Eagles used a simplified format yesterday and put up 31 points on one of the better defenses in the league. You mean to tell me we can't do the same thing? You want to tell me it is because of Allen? It's not. It's because we have an arrogant OC who is trying to run an offense that worked at Alabama, where the QB has 5-7 seconds to throw the ball almost every snap, in the NFL. -
Really? You think Josh was the problem yesterday? What about a defense that couldn't stop a nose bleed? What about an OC who has absolutely 0 situational awareness and calls the dumbest plays at the dumbest of times? What about receivers who decide to run their routes into coverage instead of settling in the soft spots of the zone? What about guys getting two hands on the ball, but dropping it? Yes, clearly that is all on Josh.

Singletary's touchdown shouldn't have counted

I saw jersey's being pulled left and right. Two plays where Edmunds was held his shoulder pad was folded up against the side of his helmet. It was pretty ridiculous. -
If Foster comes back to the ball on that deep shot he either draws PI or makes a play on the ball and we aren't on our side of the field with Daboll calling stupid plays. Instead he lets the ball drop a yard behind him.

Bills 13, Eagles 31 postgame thread

The play lost in all of this? Foster on that deep pass. If he comes back to the ball he either draws PI or makes a long catch. Instead it drops a yard back. After that the run where Josh fumbles and the Eagles score. -

This is a thorough a** whoopin today. Star is soft af. The defense can't get off of the field on 3rd down. They made Wentz look like an All Pro. They look like sh*t against the run. Daboll has called a sh*t game on offense. You would hope after last week these guys would have learned something, but they have not. I am starting to have a disliking for Daboll the further we get in. He's not some genius, he's actually quite the opposite. He doesn't understand situational football and is trying to force what he wants instead of making adjustments. -
Hopefully we see a good game today from our guys. Go Bills!!! See you all on here after the game.

Another Brian Kelly poop show. He had a bye week before the game and couldn't get his team ready. I don't want to hear anything about the weather because Michigan imposed their will in that same weather. I have never seen regression in a QB from one season to the next like Ian Book from last year to this one. They should bench him and see what they have in Jurkovec or Brendon Clark. Ian Book isn't even backup material in the NFL at this point so try to get an early look at your future.

Key to the game? Score points and hold them to less than we score.

Josh Allen fined for throwing ball into stands

Cool. This a reason for Josh not to shake Goodell's hand when he's hoisting the Lombardi. -

Jalen was hoping for that matchup against Alabama. Not very likely now. -
Josh Allen is my guy. He is the young, 2nd year, starting QB of the team I have rooted for since the mid/late 1980's. The young man is going to be special. He may not ever be Drew Brees, or Tom Brady, or Peyton Manning, but he is going to be special for this team and this city for years to come. You see it already beyond being athletically gifted. In his first full season, game wise, as a starter he has led how many game winning drives/4th quarter comebacks? Yeah. His completion percentage is up like 10 points from last year to this year and the team is winning. So what if he doesn't have gaudy numbers yet? I don't care. The guy is clutch and he's got this switch that flips in crunch time like no one else I have ever seen this early in their career. The main problem, as with many of the dead horse threads on TSW, is comparing him to or not being able to let go of the fact we didn't draft Mahomes or Watson even for that matter. It's kind of sad actually that people get stuck on comparisons or blinded by their disdain over the fact someone else isn't here. Makes a lot of you seem like miserable people in general. When he cuts down the turnovers, because he will, and starts putting up more gaudy numbers, because he will, I can't wait to see all of the people backtracking or rationalizing their stance prior to.

That's the absolute worst sports show on television. Skip Bayless is a complete and total idiot. Sharpe couldn't put together a rational thought if it was sentence by numbers. The FS1 "personalities" are pretty horrendous from top to bottom. Throw in Cowturd with his lisp and you have an All Toilet Bowl lineup.
-
A lot of writers and other "personalities" are picking the Iggles this week, talking about how they are "desperate" for a win and their team is mad. We shall see.

He'll end up in Miami

Mark Schofield: Precarious Handling of Young Quarterbacks
H2o replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's not. I haven't seen a single report where that is the case. On the other hand, this fact has been widely known about McVay and Goff since he took over. -
Yep, Josh Gordon to IR explains why they ponied up a 2nd.

Moncrief and Lee? Aww hell naw. Moncrief has been an underachiever no matter where he has been, plus he has the dropsies. Lee might as well be driving around a motorized cart like you see at the local grocery store because the guy in NEVER healthy. Allison? Meh. Corey Davis? Absolutely. Anthony Miller? He had a bunch of TD's last year, but this year he has been nothing more than a shadow on the field. Not sure what his deal is, but I can't see Chicago cutting bait in his 2nd season.
