  1. This screams Jerry Jones to me. My money is on Dallas.
  2. Wore my Josh Allen jersey to my kid's game on Saturday. I check in the oppenents team verifying ages and matching up numbers. The league rep looks at me and says, "The Bills?!?!?" and proceeds to start laughing. The other coaches were snickering too. I smiled, nodded, and said, "which one of your teams will be 2-0 after this weekend? Mine will be." Aside from the one Cowboys fan that spoke up the rest were quiet.
  3. He's non-committal on Manning because the Giants may be non-committal on his job if he keeps losing.
  4. Jim Rome has always been an arrogant pr*ck. I remember being 18 years old and calling into his show when he was talking about the state of baseball the year after the strike. I got on air and was talking about the Yankees. His show was live on air at around midnight I believe. I remember him talking mess saying the Yankees time passed in the 70's, they had not been relevant since Reggie Jackson, how they would struggle without Mattingly, blah, blah, blah. They won the WS the next year and proceeded to go on their historic run. I tried to get back on air after that to talk sh*t, but they wouldn't let me.
  5. The Giants may have shown a ***** in the armor yesterday in the 2nd half. Every time we lined up in those Spread formations they brought more rushers than the OL could handle. That's when we started struggling on offense, but Daboll kept running the same things until our last TD drive. You can bet BB took notice. We will have to be balanced against NE and win the TOP battle if we want to have any chance. To try and get into an up-tempo shootout with NE would be foolish. I want to see if the offense has an answer for that this week when we play Cincy because hopefully Daboll took notice as well. Seriously, it edited out c h i n k from c h i n k in the armor?
  6. Personally idc. Either or. I don't think there is any way the Jets win without Darnold tonight though. I expect Cleveland to beat them pretty convincingly.
  7. I honestly think he will be dead or in jail. Sad to day, but just a hunch.
  8. Wow.......... He's probably worse than any of the other diva's I can remember in the NFL. Any of them, on an all around human level.
  9. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/09/16/lesean-mccoy-having-mri-on-ankle/ Before the injury he had 11 carries for 23 yds and 3 receptions for 0 yds. This is the McCoy we saw last year and I think more along the lines of what KC will get this season.
  10. Yeah, I think the league hits him with a fine. It was helmet to helmet and he almost seemed to launch himself a bit.
  11. Yes, and I will be interested to see how Lamar plays against an AFC contender versus the teams he faced in weeks 1 & 2.
  12. No, I was just stating the injury my friend. I understand your point about injuries getting guys off trajectory though. Coaching can have the same effect.
  13. Mahomes is going to get paid, no doubt. I think the Chiefs try to get a deal done next year if they are smart. The price tag is only going to keep going up.
  14. Actually, Carr broke his leg the year he was playing lights out. Carr broke his back last year.
  15. I could care less what anyone in the media says about Josh. As long as we keep winning that is all that matters. They can take all of their angles, and their statistics, turn them sumb*tches sideways, and shove them straight up their candy a**es.
  16. Next up? Cincinnati. Let's try and get a W in week 3. If we get that W we can ponder the about the Pats matchup in week 4. The Pats look to be a COMPLETE team this year though, which is kind of scary.
  17. Baltimore looks to be the head of the AFC North right now. Pittsburgh wasn't realistically a threat for a Wild Card spot imo. Sucks for Ben, but I don't see this helping us much. It still may be the end of an era in Pittsburgh though if Ben needs TJ surgery. Brees is on the downside of a story book career. If he is forced to miss significant time then the Saints are toast. Not sure why they played Bridgewater yesterday instead of Hill, but I'm not Sean Payton. The talk of Josh for MVP is a bit premature and isn't on the docket right now. Just win games baby, just win games.
  18. Nope....nope....definitely not. You want to give up a 2nd for Gordon then have to pay him? Yeah, that would be stupid.
  19. He's obviously a bust. I mean, dang, how can the all of you not realize this after 4 preseason games and 2 regular season ones?
  20. People bashing Wentz forget that he was the front-runner for MVP a couple of years ago before tearing his ACL and MCL on a dive into the endzone. He's a pretty good QB, but has had some injury issues. That being said, I don't know if you can really compare the two by their playing style. Josh is clearly the better athlete and runner. I think Josh has better escape ability in the pocket as well. Like someone, I think Bandit, said yesterday, Josh makes throws that only about 3 other QB's in the NFL can make. I don't know if there are that many. Those two throws on the run yesterday, absolute dimes. The only other QB's I think who can make those two throws are Rodgers and Mahomes. Josh is like a combo of Cam and Big Ben physically, but seems to have a will to win ala Brady. He's a competitor out there and brings up the whole energy level of this team on both sides of the ball. I have never heard anyone say that about Wentz. As a matter of fact I remember hearing chatter last year about how some in the locker room wanted Foles as the permanent starter in Philly. Either way, we have a QB on the rise and a team on the right track. After 20 years of futility idc who you compare him to, I just hope he 1) stays healthy and 2) keeps winning.
  21. Wentz looked to be reaching for that knee when he got up. Let's see how he's moving
