  1. At this point he is 31 years old, was always a gimmick system QB, and would be more of a distraction than anything due to the media circus it would create. No one is going to invest significant money on him because he isn't anyone's long term answer. I don't think he just wants to be a backup somewhere either. This whole situation is of his own making. I don't feel sorry for him because he is rich af from the game itself, as well as endorsements, and also got a settlement rumored to be in the $60,000,000-$80,000,000 range from the NFL. He's no martyr, not by any stretch of the imagination. I wish him no ill will, but I don't buy the victim card he has played due to the way everything has worked itself out. It's not like he was having a HOF career. Talent trumps controversy. You see it with Kareem Hunt, Tyreke Hill, Joe Mixon, Dontae Stallworth, Michael Vick, the list could go on. Hell, how many chances did Aldon Smith get? If he was a top tier QB he would have BEEN signed long ago. People were calling for his head and he was benched in SF long before the kneeling started. Some very casually forget that.
  2. Dude's a b*tch. Who gives an actual ***k about "his story"? I know I don't. Enjoy your life after football. Everything is good here. ✌️✌️
  3. No. Thanks for helping us get into the playoffs that one time, but they can lose every other game and I wouldn't care. A special shout out to Andy Dalton and Tyler Boyd though.
  4. For as much as the prognosticators like to think they have it figured out, they really don't. Except for the Pats, Chiefs, and Cowboys imo the rest of these rankings have been wide open. Injuries happen. Teams take a step back in some instances. Schedules change on a yearly basis outside of your own division. They like to put teams in places for their own "reasons" or are simply regurgitating someone else's ideas. They rank schedules according the way teams seemed to perform in the previous year. But truth is until you get about 4 weeks into the season, it's really hard to judge which teams are going where. Even then teams can get hot or they can go cold. The two years the Giants won the SB with Eli they got hot at the right time, made the playoffs as a WC team, and rode the wave to two victories over NE. Let's get a win against Cincy, hope injuries remain at a minimum, and keep this mojo going one week at a time.
  5. That was definitely a legit meltdown for Greeny. It's funny to watch. But at the same time, we have ALL been there. You know this to be true Bills fans. I don't know if we were 8 days into the season, but we have all been there.
  6. I wouldn't be mad with a late round pick for Drake. Who are we releasing though? I like our roster right now. Let's just hope Singletary's injury doesn't cost significant time or linger.
  7. Carter was probably more like, "I got you bruh, I got you, just wait." After that he had the possible roughing the passer where he gave him a little shove at the end.
  8. That's what brought on the cheap shot by Carter later that didn't get flagged.
  9. I said it before the season started that the Jets could start out 0-7 if they lost to us and the media's heads would explode. They have a tough stretch right out the gate. I didn't expect it to go south this quickly from Darnold getting mono, to the injuries, to Gase throwing everyone under the bus though.
  10. In the right situation, if the right DT was doing it, I'd be fine with a couple of late hit penalties where a 300lb man drops his full body weight on him.
  11. That OL is a mess right now, but their OL coach always seems to get the most out of every guy they plug in. I hope and pray that our defense can constantly hit Brady all game long in week 4.
  12. Is this the "kiss of death"?
  13. I, personally, think Cam is done. He's done mentally and his body is failing him after the years of punishment. The Panthers need to be on the lookout for their next QB.
  14. I don't know what you're talking about. McBeane is lost out here. We need to fire everybody ~ Pre-Season posters
  15. Bojo - I thought for sure he would get a pink slip and we were signing another punter. The guy has been rock solid through two weeks. Shaq - Is this because of the teams we've face or has the light switch finally come on? Either way I'll take it. TE's - Sweeney, Knox, and Smith are holding it down out there. They are not only blocking fairly well, but giving Josh options. John Brown - Same sentiment as everyone one else. He was on pace for 80 catches and 1,100 yards with Flacco last year before Lamar. He may top that here. The OL - It seems these guys are getting it together quickly for not having played together much in the preseason. I love what the FO did here. Team Spirit - Two weeks in a row I see our guys taking up for each other out there at different points. Absolutely love it. Hit our guy and we're going to hit you back.
  16. Eh, fret not my friend. The media is littered with a bunch of dumb c*nts who go off of box scores and "advanced numbers" instead of actually watching the games they are reporting on. They also have their favorites they play to of course. None of the Bills players are on the list of balls they feel the need to wash yet so this is what we are left with. I'm good with that. We all see the progress with our team.
  17. I wonder if Bell is regretting his decision yet?
  18. Eli isn't the problem in NY. The problem in NY is their defense, no weapons on offense outside of Barkley right now, and mainly Shurmur.
  19. This week I believe the focus will be more on slowing down the passing game of the Bengals. They still have 2 dangerous WR's in Boyd (still love that guy for the catch and run vs Baltimore) and the speedster John Ross. Eifert is actually healthy again at the TE spot as well. Their OL is pretty decimated and they've been having issues getting anything going on the ground though. If our defense is on their game this week then we should be able to rush 4, still create pressure, and have 7 in coverage all day long. This is what I am expecting to see and I am hoping it leads to some turnovers.
  20. A 5th that could conditionally become a 4th depending on availability. The Bengals are going into a rebuild here shortly imo, especially if we can win the game on Sunday. They will probably look to be moving what they can for draft assets. I would give up nothing higher than a 4th though.
  21. I'm hoping that the Darnold sickness buys him at least another year. He can blame the kicker for week one. He can blame Greggo along with the Darnold sickness for a while. Hopefully this leads to 0-5 at least. Starting out 0-5 their playoff chances will be pretty much zilch. Hopefully after that he gets some "moral victories" of some kind along the way where he can point to those things as improvements, as long as it is not at our expense of course, and sucker the Jets into giving him another year.
  22. If I were the Jags I would sell to the highest bidder. He's a good player, but the headache is not worth it in some cases. Get your picks and let someone else deal with that as well as hand out that check.
  23. Right now I got it like this: 1. Mayfield 2. Allen 3. Jackson 4. Darnold 5. Rudolph 6. Rosen Mayfield is still the top QB right now imo. People just love to hate the guy for some reason. Had an excellent rookie year and can make every throw. Allen has made a nice 2nd year leap thus far, shown vast improvement behind a stabilized OL, and has already proven himself clutch. Still not sold on Jackson even though he's had a couple of good weeks throwing the ball, but right now he's looking better than Darnold. I want to see him against better teams with more on the line before I take a bite of the crow. Can he throw the ball against a legit defense when it matters? Roman knows how to get the most out of these types and LJ is the best overall athlete he's had to work with out of Smith, Kaep, and Tyrod. Right now his trajectory is on the way up. I thought before the draft that Darnold was another over-hyped USC QB and I still feel that way. When he's under pressure he rattles and becomes as inaccurate as a backup not named Barkley. Rudolph in his action last week already looked better than Rosen through all of the time he's played. Rosen, man what happened. He still has time and he has all of the physical tools. I wonder if he ends up like Trent Edwards or David Carr due to the beating he has taken already. Starting for Miami is not going to help him physically or his psyche either.
