  1. It's not "giving the Bills a pass" to admit that the defense was bad that game, especially when you realize the fact that because the Pats dominated the time of possession is a huge reason they won. The fact that we were on the doorstep at the end with a chance to tie, Josh barely missing on a throw to Knox in spite of that edge in time of possession, is an amazing change and a compliment in itself from the way he performed the first game. I do not like the conservative nature of our team at times and I do not defend them for it. It puts too much of the pressure on the defense. As good as they may be, it's not going to win us a SB because they aren't the early 2000's Ravens or Buccaneers. It has to be a combination of Josh playing well and the defense doing their jobs as they have been for the most part. McDermott and Daboll both need to learn when to go for the jugular, not let teams hang around.
  2. Bills - 21:08 with New England - 38:52 Miami - 33:51 with New England - 26:09 Do you understand that the longer your team has control of the ball the more points you have the opportunity to score? New England had 3 scoring drives that ate up a total of 23:00 of game time. That is just 3 drives. That is over 1/3 of the game on 3 scoring drives and we only lost by 7 points. An 11 play 7:26 drive, a 17 play 8:58 drive, and a 11 play 6:40 drive. The dominated us on the ground, on the short passes, and just kept the chains moving. The defensive game plan they had did not work. You do realize that Brady also gifted Miami a pick 6 in that game as well, right? If Brady doesn't do that then the Phins lose.
  3. I think it will depend on what they see through the offseason program with Rosen. I also believe that Gailey will have some input into that. He's still a relatively cheap option for a backup on a rookie deal and I think the Dolphins may be trying to hold out one more year, maybe even moving around some picks this coming year to acquire assets for 2021, so they can go after Trevor Lawrence.
  4. The defense was the problem in the 2nd game. They couldn't stop a nose bleed. They had nearly a 2-1 edge is time of possession and we were still on the doorstep at the end. Josh was night and day from the first meeting in the year as well. The Pats are no longer the dominant force they were before. It will all come crashing down Saturday night in Gillette. Can't wait to hear the "boo birds" out in full force and Brady looking like he's about to cry on the sidelines.
  5. Brown is an idiot. This is why Social Media is such a disease in some instances. It gives these people, who really should be absolutely irrelevant, a platform when no one else is knocking at their door to ask them their thoughts.
  6. Chan was good with the offensive side of the ball, he just wasn't a good head coach. If they get a couple more playmakers and fix that OL I would expect them to take a nice 2nd year step forward under Flores.
  7. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/12/31/report-dolphins-hiring-chan-gailey-as-offensive-coordinator/ Yep. Does this mean they bring back Fitz?
  8. We shall see this weekend my friend. I stand by my original statement. As far as the Bills go, I think we get our 1st playoff W in two decades. This week the "Boogeyman" will be wearing #22 in a Titans uni.
  9. Right now Doug is trying to find a new gig on the side so he can walk in and be like, " you, I'm out."
  10. NE once Brady is gone
  11. No thanks. His offensive game plans with the Giants were not good at all AND he had Saquon.

  13. Josh and Tremaine still have what would be 3 years left, assuming we exercise the 5th year options. The other guys though? Yes. Feliciano also only has one more year on his contract. Spain was signed to a one year deal as well and is an impending FA. Shaq Lawson is another impending FA. Dang, so is Phillips. We need to get our main guys taken care of first and hopefully they do that before FA even gets underway. We have a lot of FA's to sign.
  14. Word, then Coleman would have had an INT yesterday too.
  15. Ngakoue just changed his profile pic
  16. He also looked slower and less explosive this year than he did in his years with Pittsburgh. Yesterday Frank Gore seemed to have more gas in the tank than him.
  17. This goes along with that "tough guy b.s." that got leaked into the media by players in that locker room. It was hilarious listening to Trent Green talk about how they have a "great" locker room and Gase held everything together. The suckage of the J-e-t-s will only get worse until Gase is shown the door.
  18. Now, if Snyder could only figure out how to fire himself? ~says every Skins fan I know~
