Well wishes to Gabe in Jacksonville. He just never turned into what we needed here.
-
The way this plays out could dictate their draft strategy. If Higgins is going to be there for a while then they likely don't go WR in the 1st. If Higgins is on the move then that could be another of the top talents off of the board.
-
Good for Baker.
-
They still have some big name players coming up on FA. Nick Bolton, Creed Humphrey, and Trey Smith all due to be FA's next year. That $89M you're talking about is with them only having 24 players on their roster and it doesn't include the figures from Chris Jones' new contract.
-
Did anyone really expect him to go anywhere? I always knew he would be in KC for the foreseeable future. I think this pretty much is the extent of their FA though with the re-signing of Jones and Tranquil.

Khalil Mack & Joey Bosa Available for Trade / Could Be Released

Harbaugh isn't wasting any time it seems. He's going full-blown Sean Payton straight out the gate. -
I'm sure they'll do some restructuring and whatnot, but this trade puts Cleveland almost $5M over the cap. They are basically running it back, but with Jerry Jeudy and the molester under Center.

Bills DL.......how many come back to the Bills on 1 year contracts??
H2o replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think DaQuan and Shaq are both back next year. Floyd and Epenesa will get paid elsewhere. Phillips couldn't stay healthy if his life depended on it, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's back on a cheap deal too. Settle is a JAG. -

That's what your mind fashioned from what I posted? You're really bad at this Dr. Phil/Mystery Incorporated thing you keep attempting. -

This is one of the most ridiculous takes I've ever seen. And you gathered all of that grand intelligence from one story about a split pair of pants. Is this like Will Hunting looking at a painting on the wall in his psychiatrist's office? And the locker room comment is even more outrageous when you listen to anyone and everyone in that building. Have you every heard ANYONE talk negatively about his work ethic in regards to football? Dumb, just dumb. You act like JA should be football 24-7-365 for his entire career without any kind of life whatsoever outside of the game. Girlfriend? Nope. Only football. Eating out? Nope. Nutritionist making every meal, even living inside your fridge to hand you that 2:00am healthy snack. Oh yeah, and football. Traveling to various places across the world, with a girlfriend, and eating out while you're there. O-M-GEEEEEEE!!!!!!! Nope, Nope and NOPE!!!! Crucify him!!!!! Tom Brady took all kinds of trips with his family, to various places, and showed up at a lot of these same events you're talking about (yes, all before he was retired). How many rings does that guy have? Mahomes does as well. In fact there are numerous athletes all at these same events, many of them champions, and they ALL have a life outside of their respective sport. There is a reason it's called the "off season" and it's the first week of March my guy. I'm not sure if it's jealousy, envy, or maybe you're just not happy with where you're at, or what you're able to do. Whatever it is, I hope you can get past that. Or maybe find yourself a team with a QB who walks that chalk line with no personal life whatsoever. Well wishes and happy hunting.- 60 replies

Great. Our QB is back at trying to eat his way out of the NFL again. -
We're going with a full, backyard style offense. The QB is going to hold the ball and yell "Go!"
-
Maybe Beane promised him a FO position when he retires?
-
I mean, he's not hurting financially or anything and he knows he basically stole $$$ from us last year.

That trade caught Seattle a manslaughter charge. Oh, you could increase that list by 50 if you're doing drafted QB's

Who Would You Trade Up For, And How Far Would You Go Up To Get Them?
H2o replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, that's a bit dramatic. The team took two DE's in the first two rounds, one of which was a bust. We seem to be alright. -

DEFINITELY not trading up for a DE. Side note: This board would never recover if that happened. -

Just because that single trade didn't work out for us, doesn't mean you can label all trades based off of that. Watkins never live up to his draft position, but that doesn't mean the next guy won't. It's a risk whether you stay put and pick a guy or you swing for the fences on someone else. Swinging for the fences may cost you a little more, you may be putting a little more into it, but you can still strike out either way.
