  1. If Miami wins this game to get off the shnide what will they be saying about Pittsburgh and Tomlin now? Insult to injury is Miami owns their 1st Round pick this year for Minkah. They absolutely hosed the Steelers and are now taking them to the woodshed.
  2. I believe you are correct in your assessment my friend. One can only hope the leash is short after the s*** playcalling we have seen for about half of each game this year.
  3. Allen cuts down on the INT's and now it's the fumbles. It's not the playcalling, it's the people running the plays despite the fact that Stevie Wonder can see Daboll doesn't understand situational football and is calling the same dumb week in and week out.
  4. The Ravens have a rushing attack with Ingram, Edwards, and Hill that will pose a problem if Frazier/McDermott don't have these guys playing solid gap integrity by then.
  5. Meh, I don't think I give up a 1st or a 2nd for Williams. A 3rd, maybe. I'd rather have a pass rusher that gets Murphy off of the field.
  6. I'd take Allen Robinson in a heartbeat.
  7. He took that shot on the final play yesterday and got absolutely lit up from behind. He didn't even see it coming.
  8. I'm not gonna vote because those won't be the types of stats he is consistently putting up by year 4. Guess who's stats these are below after 16 games. Note the 2nd QB on the list, that was after his 3rd year of starting. QB #3 was his 2nd full year as a starter. 16 16 326 575 56.7 3,739 6.5 26 28 22 109 71.2 15 62 4.1 0 3 1 15 15 280 469 59.7 3,513 7.5 18 23 46 280 75.4 32 98 3.1 2 5 2 16 522 318 60.9 32.6 3,303 6.3 206.4 19 3.6 24 4.6 66T 37 5 30 199 72.2 I'm sure I could continue on, but the people who love to find reasons to hate Josh Allen despite the improvement he is showing on the field will continue to hate Josh Allen despite the improvement he is showing on the field.
  9. Josh's legs are a better weapon when the play breaks down and he takes off on his own. The designed runs for a QB that has already had one concussion this year are stupid. You can't help for his football instincts taking over and him trying to make something out of nothing, but Daboll has got to stop with this dumb he does on a weekly basis.
  10. Light's out? Not so much. Yeah, he's running the ball well, but he's not so hot throwing the ball. Since the Miami game week one where everyone wanted to b***-wash him as the greatest QB in the NFL alongside Pat Mahomes, he's got 6 TD's and 5 INT's in the last 6 games. His completion percentage is also around 61% in that time. The difference is he is the best pure athlete out of any of the guys drafted last year and can run his arse off. He was 9-20 against Seattle in his last outing throwing the ball, but was running all over the place in that W. Ran all over Cincy as well the week before. Overall though he has only thrown 1 TD pass in his last 3 games.
  11. Did we lose 3 fumbles in the first half?
  12. And the Eagles were sitting on it all day, even though Josh was having a solid game until the Eagles started pinning their ears back as the lead grew.
  13. There has to be a middle ground in a sense. I'm glad he is learning not to make the terrible INT throws, but at the same time you have to let him be himself on the field. Daboll IS the problem. No innovation, no situational game awareness, no in game adjustments, and he is overcomplicating things for everyone. Josh is going to throw an INT here or there, so did Favre. At the same time you have to let him do what he does best. In the last 3 games he has 6 TD's to 1 INT, but everyone wants to harp on the fumbles now. It's like the article said, the guy can't win for losing with the fans and the media.
  14. I have one big factor, Brian Daboll. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/17/brian-daboll-to-coordinate-dolphins-offense/ Do we not see the pattern here?
  15. I think the defense is built for the bend, but don't break approach. Yesterday, when they started blitzing due to Philly's effective ground game, is when the big plays happened for chunk yardage. They are going to have to figure out that Zone-Read offense quickly because Dallas and Baltimore run the same thing with MUCH MORE athletic QB's than Philly.
  16. I agree that he hasn't had a complete game, but he has thrown the team on his back and carried them to victory with his arm multiple times when he has needed to. The turnovers are being cut down and people are still trying to pin everything on him in a lot of instances. The OC is garbo, the WR's aren't doing Josh any favors with their route running at times as well as dropping catchable passes, and you have to realize that he is still growing.
  17. Despite how people are trying to portray the situation, Allen is not the problem.
  18. Johnson is hurt and the backup now as well. Drake is a FA at year's end. He'll get a chance to either prove his worth in a more spread type of offense or he'll be sent packing with the Dolphins only getting a 6th or 7th.
  19. This is NOT the Josh McDaniels offense. It is not. You are sadly mistaken my friend. This offense has more college concepts than pro and Daboll does a pretty job calling a game.
  20. Daboll is really starting to show up as a liability imo. Every game this year he comes with these completely head-scratching play calls. Your starting QB has already had 1 concussion this year, and guys are clearly looking to go after him on defense, but you are calling 5 designed run plays with your QB? There is no creativity in the run game. I can't remember seeing the first rub route yesterday, the type the Pats use legally all the time, to help guys get open underneath. What the hell is Lee Smith still doing on the field? He doesn't use motion to help create space. Outside of John Brown the WR's aren't doing much of anything right. I have a feeling that Daboll is trying to be too complicated with the offense and is basically up the whole situation. The Eagles used a simplified format yesterday and put up 31 points on one of the better defenses in the league. You mean to tell me we can't do the same thing? You want to tell me it is because of Allen? It's not. It's because we have an arrogant OC who is trying to run an offense that worked at Alabama, where the QB has 5-7 seconds to throw the ball almost every snap, in the NFL.
  21. Really? You think Josh was the problem yesterday? What about a defense that couldn't stop a nose bleed? What about an OC who has absolutely 0 situational awareness and calls the dumbest plays at the dumbest of times? What about receivers who decide to run their routes into coverage instead of settling in the soft spots of the zone? What about guys getting two hands on the ball, but dropping it? Yes, clearly that is all on Josh.
  22. I saw jersey's being pulled left and right. Two plays where Edmunds was held his shoulder pad was folded up against the side of his helmet. It was pretty ridiculous.
  23. If Foster comes back to the ball on that deep shot he either draws PI or makes a play on the ball and we aren't on our side of the field with Daboll calling stupid plays. Instead he lets the ball drop a yard behind him.
  24. The play lost in all of this? Foster on that deep pass. If he comes back to the ball he either draws PI or makes a long catch. Instead it drops a yard back. After that the run where Josh fumbles and the Eagles score.
  25. This is a thorough a** whoopin today. Star is soft af. The defense can't get off of the field on 3rd down. They made Wentz look like an All Pro. They look like sh*t against the run. Daboll has called a sh*t game on offense. You would hope after last week these guys would have learned something, but they have not. I am starting to have a disliking for Daboll the further we get in. He's not some genius, he's actually quite the opposite. He doesn't understand situational football and is trying to force what he wants instead of making adjustments.
