  1. Nate Newton got busted with 213lbs and then, while he was out on bond for the first charge, got busted transporting another 175lbs about 6 weeks later (like they're not going to be watching like a hawk while you're out on bond ). Sheer stupidity.
  2. See San Francisco. They have Brieda, Coleman, and Mostert. We could maybe sign a Kenyan Drake in FA and draft AJ Dillon. Our RB's would be set for 3 or 4 years at least.
  3. There are numerous RB's in this draft that we could snag anywhere from rounds 2-5 I believe. I still want AJ Dillon out of the bunch though and he will likely be able to be had on day 3 unless he runs an insane 40 time. He has pretty nimble feet for a big guy, can run people over, throw them off, bounce through pretty much any arm tackle, and has breakaway speed when he hits the open field. He would be a power back, but not just that per say.
  4. I would go with Takeo Spikes out of the list of choices. He, Edmunds, and Milano on the field together would be sick.
  5. Someone will give him $15,000,000 on a one year deal at least is my thought on the situation, yes. He's still a good player and edge rushers tend to get a bit of a markup. It's not like he is coming off of a major injury or anything like that either. We were just having a discussion the other day about sacks not telling the whole story. Griffin had 8 sacks last year in 15 games, but also had 13 hurries and 13 QB knockdowns. They give him credit for 35 pressures in total. He's still an effective player and someone will pay him more than he was about to get in Minnesota I believe. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2019/defense_advanced.htm
  6. Helps Minnesota financially, but it certainly weakens their defensive front. Griffin should get a $15,000,000-$18,000,000 per year deal, for up to 2 years possibly, elsewhere.
  7. No way in Hades Rivera and Co. pass on Chase Young, just not gonna happen. And the Dolphins will not try to get to #2 for Tua. The Lions don't want a QB with their first pick.
  8. Didn't expect him to walk away from the $$$, but I guess he is possibly looking for more guarantees. The question with him is not his ability, but his mental health. He missed time previously due to that, did he not?
  9. He's a little sloppy out of the starting block
  10. Well now he is going to have to invest part of what he has left in a lawyer to keep him out of la carcel.
  11. https://www.tmz.com/2020/02/19/cleveland-browns-greg-robinson-arrested-marijuana-border-patrol/?__twitter_impression=true&__twitter_impression=true The stupidity of some people just amazes me. Another PFT mention of it below. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/02/19/report-greg-robinson-in-custody-after-drug-possession-arrest-in-texas/
  12. I say we sweeten the salary cap pot a bit for them and offer a 4th and one of our 6th rounders for them to throw Rudolph in as well.
  13. He's on that Brian Cushing nutritional pack.
  14. Diggs is young, productive, and on a VERY reasonable contract for the next 4 years. We would be fools to not be all over this.
  15. I don't care for him, but they were playing pretty well before Stafford went down. This is definitely a make or break year for all of them in Detroit.
  16. That year off mentality stuck around and those double cheeseburgers kept calling his name.
  17. The Lions don't want Tua, they want to win now (for the sake of saving their own behind's). Look for them to draft Okudah or Brown if they stay put @ #3.
  18. Sean Lee talking to Beane...
  19. Payton, Brees, and Co. want one last run at that Lombardi. We'll see what they do in FA and the draft.
  20. I mean he isn't going to line up at DT as noted by GoBills808 for sure, but I think he would do well from an athletic standpoint playing LB for an early down or so and then being put on the line as an edge rusher. I think he truly has that versatility to his game. He has great closing speed when getting after whoever has the ball, be it the QB or someone else. Granted I only expect him to play LB when we are in our base defense then I expect him to be on the edge when we go to our Nickel packages with Milano being the other LB on the field alongside Edmunds. I think an edge group of Hughes, Lawson, Chiasson, Willekes, and Murphy would be quite a formidable one when you look at them as a whole.
