Predict the 4 teams in the playoff for college 2019-2020
H2o replied to major's topic in College Football
I would love to see a team like Utah get in the CFP. They play great defense and do enough on offense. Georgia will catch another L in the SEC title game which will eliminate them. Ohio St., LSU, and Clemson are clearly the 3 best teams. I'm hoping for some new blood in at #4. -

It's great to watch Saban completely melt down on the sidelines. A year without Bama in the CFP is a good year. -
If Foster Starts Rolling This Team Is Beyond Dangerous
H2o replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one is taking anything away from any other team, especially a team like the Ravens. But if we get the Foster from the last 4 weeks of 2018, to go along with what we currently have, and you add in Josh's maturation? Yes, this team is beyond dangerous. -

White flag? Maybe the truth just digs a bit too deep for you. -

That's not my style, don't really get into the "trap game" thing. May be yours though? Thanks for your wonderful insight into the mind of our players though. Let me guess, you have sources deep within right? You can go back to taking selfies with your Tom Brady fathead now. -

Did you see Jerry Hughes walking back to the locker room the other day? He was screaming, "You don't like us, but we're winning!!!" They definitely hear it and I do believe it is a form of motivation for some of the guys. Neither the thread nor any other post has anything to do with any kind of validation. What is silly though is your plethora of asinine comments over the years. Stay simple my friend. -

It seems that Foster is starting to be worked into the offense a bit more the last couple of weeks. Maybe the injuries hampered him to the point he just fell behind everyone else? Maybe he played himself into the doghouse for a while? Who knows. One thing is we have a better group this year as well so he's not a focal point like he was towards the end of the year in 2018. Over the last 4 games in 2018 though is when he came on with 19 catches for 285 yards and 2 TD's. We are now in the last 4 game stretch of 2019. If we can get that version of Foster, to go with Smoke who can hurt you all over the field, Knox who has really impressed as a rookie, Beasley who is basically unguardable in the slot, and the running game we have established to go along with the defense we already had? Watch out because this team could very well make a run that no one thought possible.

Bill Barnwell snipes at Allen, and gets shredded in response

Fify. This is the ESPN version of a LAMS (look at me stat) -
Before the year I said we would be 11-5 during the regular season and get our 1st playoff victory in 2 decades. I still think we can win every game left on the schedule, but we probably won't. The Pats, at most, will lose 2 more games. I think they lose this week against Houston in a close game on the road, 23-20, or something like that. After that they either lose to KC or us at Gillette. We have to win out to win the division. I don't think this is the year for that yet.

Roll call for officiating conspiracy believers
H2o replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As a whole I don't know if it is completely rigged, but since the early 2000's I have seen some games where it can really sway you that way. The one that stands out most to me is the Seahawks/Steelers SB. Ben was not in on the dive where they gave him a TD, but it was called that way even after review. After that Hasselbeck throws an INT, is chasing the guy down along the sideline, throws his body in there in an attempt to make a tackle, but the ref throws a flag for a "Chop Block" on the play? How can you be called for a chop block trying to make a tackle? It just so happened that was to be Steelers' RB, Jerome Bettis, last game and he was in his hometown for the SB. On Thursday it seemed apparent that the refs were gonna give the Cowboys every chance on the field. Even that first TD drive was aided by a timely, ghost illegal contact call. The guy hitting Allen on the slide, but the refs conveniently give Dallas a warning instead of a flag. Bottom line is we were the better team and overcame the shade thrown our way. -

What does this do for our upcoming negotiations with Dawkins, who is a LT? The LT position is perceived as the more important of the two for the most part. Do you think his agent uses this leverage? -

I love it. Can you imagine the fire they are stoking in our guys right now? Can I get two claps and a Ric Flair?!?!?!?! -
Outside of Nate Burleson, everything I have watched this morning has been how the Cowboys lost and not how the Bills won. The Cowboys' coaching, the Cowboys' play calling, Dak playing for his contract and what he deserves, the Cowboys' kicker missing kicks(not noting how Hauschka missed an XP and FG as well), endless drabble about Dem Boyz, with a little congrats to the Bills thrown in at the end with a 5 second shout out. Personally, I love it. Keep slighting these guys, keep sleeping on them, keep feeding that fire burning within them to prove the naysayers wrong. Like Jerry said yesterday, "You don't like us, but we're winning!!!"

Your Favorite Allen Play from T-day?
H2o replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jaylon Smith was staring him down on that play. Josh looked him off and ripped the ball in there for a solid gain. Awesome. -
I get the skeptics in this thread, I really do. But at the same time, the heat was on McDermott to get a win like this. The heat was on Josh to have a "statement game" against a good team. This is the 2nd week in a row he has seen a top 6 defensive unit. Yesterday he was nearly flawless after being pretty damn good the week before. The narrative before the game? The Cowboys have too many weapons. The Bills have a weak run defense. The Bills defense is overrated as a whole. Josh turns the ball over too much. The Bills haven't beaten a team with a winning record and are a product of their schedule. Just about EVERYONE in the media and analyst on television picked the Cowboys to win, and not only win, but dominate the Bills yesterday. Not only did McDermott and the staff come up with a fantastic game plan, but Josh was lights out, we dominated all facets of the game, and ALL of those guys played hungry. If you don't see the energy around this team, the bond they have, and can't feel that this team is special I'm sorry. I see it, I can feel it. Now the rest of the NFL, the media, and personalities are seeing it as well.

Game Plan Against Dallas (#6 Defense, #1 Offense)
H2o replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Time of possession? Bills 33:18, Cowboys 26:42. Turnovers? Bills 0, Cowboys 2. Kevin Johnson played well yesterday. We ran the ball and imposed our will yesterday. Josh took care of the ball yesterday. Cooper had a 8 catches for 85 yards, but nothing terribly meaningful. Beasley destroyed his old team on those intermediate routes yesterday. The guys in the trenches on both sides played like someone had just stole their turkey leg. Buffalo 9-3. Boom baby!!! -
I know what you were talking about. I was talking about this team having the feel and energy of the '99 team.
-
The last time this team had a feel and an energy like this was the late 90's, but our QB is better than Rob Johnson or Doug Flutie.
-
You can bet every team left on the schedule is on notice. Hell, even Rodney Harrison apologized on TV tonight before the Falcons game and admitted the Bills are a threat.
-
Oliver has been a completely different player the last 3 weeks. He was challenged by the coaching staff and has responded to the tune of 4 sacks and a forced fumble in 3 games. Today? Two sacks and ff against one of the best OL's in the NFL. Is he DPOY yet? No, but it's obvious he's getting noticeably better and nothing near a bust. The straws are out of reach. Let it go.
-
The Josh Allen train is full steam ahead as the young man is turning into a franchise QB right before our very eyes. Daboll is calling a lights out game from the booth. This defense may give up some yards, but we don't really give up points. The running game is clicking. The OL is coming together. Oliver is starting to look like a superstar in the making. Lawson is playing like a legit starting NFL DE. The front four as a whole are getting after it. We are creating turnovers. Do you honestly think ANYONE wants to see us on their schedule right now? I don't. Playoffs here we come.

Today we held the #1 offense out of the endzone after an opening drive TD until a late garbage time TD. We hung 26 on the #6 defense and moved the ball AT WILL. Should have had 30 if not for Hauschka. Josh was lights out. All on the road and the big stage. You should be Black Friday shopping right now Nancy.
