Bills Host DT Sebastian Joseph-Day on Visit
H2o replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
At this point, I think e spend a draft pick or two on DT's. -
Pass on both. Would not be excited for either if they fell that way.

Bills have private workout scheduled with WR Troy Franklin
H2o replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I don't know about that. Every time we play the Chiefs we have to listen to Romo talking about their "sticky coverage" a.k.a. Defensive Holding and PI. -
So, we've established that this guy has a knack for assaulting women, kids, and old people. The NFL:

The breakdown looks like hits of $8.85M for '24, the same in '25, the same in '26, and $4.54M in '27. It makes the hits much more manageable.

FA signings of Samuel and Hollins impact on the WR draft strategy?
H2o replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I want us to trade up for Nabers or Odunze tbh. It will cost a lot to do so though. But if we can land one of them by trading with the Bears @ #9, I'm good with that. If not, I would move into the late teens for Thomas. If none of this works out, I'm good with Mitchell or Legette @ #28. -
I had been holding on to the thought a trade would sink us cap wise. Looking at the Overthecap website, a post June 1 trade is fairly simple to absorb. I hope Diggs is here, but all of this bull crap every off-season grows tiresome. And it could just be tiresome because of the media 🤡's and the people who run with it. Here are the figures below.
-
And who is this 🤡? And when has Beane, or anyone else in the organization, leaked info like this previously? This guy is an idiot.

Brown and Samuel are both equally fast. Brown supposedly ran a 4.27 at his Pro Day, but was 166lbs. Samuel ran a 4.31 at the Combine being 30lbs heavier than Brown. Production is kinda similar, but Samuel has never had a real QB chucking him the rock. Brown had one solid year with Lamar, then one could say the same about his QB situation. I think they are solid pickups for both teams, but Brown's attitude is a bit different than Samuel. He's more flashy, diva-like where Samuel just seems to go about his business.

Quality signing. Now we'll finally see what he's able to do with a real QB.
-
We could do whatever, but his decision comes down to which color Hanes he grabs out of the drawer that morning.
-
Color me shocked. And this is against Bosa, Young, Gregory, Armstead, Hargrave, and Kinlaw. You REALLY think Jawaan Taylor wasn't holding Bosa on multiple occasions? Or Chase Young when they flipped alignments? Hoedell got what he wanted. A SB with even more eyes due to Taylor Swift, and then the money shot afterwards of her and Kelce kissing while celebrating their victory.
-
Yeah, not really. Just like when they sicked the striped dogs on us in the Philly game. It's fairly obvious how Hoedell operates.
-
I mean, I get it. He's trying to get the biggest deal he can because this will likely be his biggest deal he can get. A 5 year deal puts him at 30 (almost 31 by that time) and there aren't too many 30 year old WR's getting big contracts these days. It's also not like he has Tyreek Hill/Desean Jackson type speed that usually lasts into mid-30's either.
-
Reading is fundamental there guy. It's quite self-explanatory. Do you know how to watch the guy play? I don't think you do. I see everything in the little clip you posted. It doesn't matter. How many people have had somewhat heralded Combine performances that were nothings in the NFL? Again, the tape doesn't lie. Oh, and if you're old enough to have seen this guy below, would you have said he was a "great athlete" during his time? You're comparing an Edge defender to two Defensive Tackles? Way to move the line there.
-
Yeah, he's really not. A 4.75 and a 1.66 10 yard split isn't really anything special at all. The rest is the rest and I don't care about his overall RAS. If you watch any of the tape you will see it. The tape don't lie.

I don't really see him as a 2nd Round guy. Maybe a 4th at the earliest. Smaller school. Decent, but not overly impressive stats. Decent, but not overly impressive tape. Decent, but not overly impressive athletic ability. He is also limited to a bull rush for the most part. Not really much twitch to his game at all. He would struggle to make the regular season roster here imo. I wouldn't consider the guy until Day 3.

Greg Rousseau 5th year option, extension candidate?
H2o replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
We probably should extend him if we can. But it may also be possible his agent tells him to hold out on signing a LT deal due to the massive contracts being handed out to DE's at the moment. Rousseau may be willing to bet on himself in that regard depending on the numbers that would get thrown out there. I do believe it's almost a forgone conclusion we pick up the 5th year option. The Franchise Tag is even more expensive than that.
