  1. I understand your point as well and I hope we take at least 2 WR's this draft also. I just don't want us to automatically take one in the 1st for the sake of taking one. I'd be good with 2nd and 3rd or 2nd and 4th if it came down to it, but let's see how the rest of the offseason shakes out first.
  2. This is the deepest WR class I've ever seen. Just because they don't take a guy in the 1st Round doesn't mean they are going to "ignore the offense" for the entirety of the draft. There are still 9 more picks to make or work with for the Bills. If YGM, Wirfs, or Simmons are on the board, which they may not be, they should take one of those guys. I could even understand an Epenesa selection in Round 1 if he falls to #22. Right now everything is murky because we haven't even seen FA yet. Once we get through the end of March things will be a little more easy to guess at. We'll have seen who we signed, what Pro Days they've been at, and who they met with at the combine.
  3. Reagor is just another reason this is a once in a generation type of WR class. He's another gifted athlete and explosive play maker. I truly believe that teams will be finding starter caliber WR's all the way into the 4th Round this year.
  4. That we can my friend I think the only way he runs that fast is if he sheds about 10-12lbs before the combine, which players have been known to do. It's not out of the realm of possibility for him to run a 4.4, but I don't see it when I watch the highlights at 220lbs (if that was his playing weight).
  5. I like Baun playing WLB taking over for Lorax. I think he is plenty fast to drop in coverage or hang with a TE (we'll see at the combine), has an explosive gear when he goes to chase a guy down, and can obviously be used in blitz packages. I also think he could easily add 10lbs to his frame without losing a step. I considered him here for versatility on defense and the way the board shook out when drafting. I also went by how the rest of the players were ranked to guess where they might be when I drafted. The only thing that worries me is the foot injuries in 2017 and 2018.

  7. Go watch highlights of Patterson at Tennessee and then watch Shenault highlights. Same player, but Patterson is faster imo and excels in the return game. Just my 2.
  8. Who I would want: 1. Jack Conklin / OT 2. Shaq Lawson / DE (re-sign) or Dante Fowler / DE 3. Breshad Perriman / WR 4. Maybe take a shot on Vince Biegel / LB to replace Lorax? 5. Re-sign Corey Liuget / DT 6. Kevin Johnson / CB (re-sign) 7. Kenyan Drake / RB
  9. I still don't trust Shenault. I see Cordarrelle Patterson 2.0 tbh. I would hope we spend our first on something more than a gadget player. To me they are mirror images of one another, but Patterson had better wheels coming out of college.
  10. Easy pass when it comes to that guy. He's a lightweight DE who doesn't have the strength to set an edge nor does he have anything except a looping speed rush. He's had one really good year, but the rest have been meh. He would only be a situational pass rusher at best. No thanks.
  11. Bayless got his combine invite.
  12. And then finally, when there's nothing left, when you can't borrow another buck from the bank or buy a case of booze, you bust the joint out, you light a match
  13. I'm in. Assign me whatever team you would like @Virgil
  14. Good for Lynn. I have much respect for the guy and all he does as a human being. I believe he deserves more time with the Chargers as well. They faced a ton of injuries this past season and Rivers play is in clear decline. Let him see how he does with a healthy team and a new QB.
  15. We gave up one first round pick the following year and swapped first round picks to move up that current year. We did not give up two first rounders as so many people like to say.
  16. He's gonna get over $200,000,000 and will likely get at least two of those types of contracts as long as he avoids injury
  17. I wonder how bandwagon fans, like Jeffismagic, feel right now?
  18. So San Fran now has to get a TD. I don't trust Jimmy to get it done
  19. He lead with the crown of his helmet into Jimmy's helmet. Should have been a flag
  20. 3 first downs and this could be over. Shanahan is going to channel his inner Falcon though
