  1. He's a decent option. If he could be had for on a 3 year $15,000,000 deal I would take him. I think he and his agent royally screwed themselves last year not taking the offer The Chargers had on the table.
  2. If we're being realistic: 1. Breshad Perriman - He battled some injuries his first few years, but came on strong last year for TB. He would be a big, vertical threat for Daboll to line up in various places. 2. AJ Green - He too has battled some injuries the last couple of years. But if the docs give him a clean bill of health, he immediately would change the WR dynamic on this team. If he's healthy, a big IF, he should be able to give a team a #1 threat for at least another 2-3 seasons. 3. Emmanuel Sanders - He's another on the smallish side, but he's productive, an excellent route runner, and can get open against anyone.
  3. cli·ché /klēˈSHā/ noun 1. a phrase or opinion that is overused and betrays a lack of original thought.
  4. If we are going FA for a RB then I'd rather go Drake than Gordon.
  5. @thebandit27 has laid this out thoroughly already. I would be fine with paying Clowney more so than Ngakoue. Your ears must have been burning. I was typing at the same time as you I believe.
  6. Yeah, there's no way they can keep Clowney and trade for/sign Ngakoue.
  7. Streamed games for years now because the Bills are RARELY on in VA. This past season was the most I've ever been able to watch them on live TV since the 90's because we played the NFC East, Baltimore, a Pats game (initially forgot that one), and had Pittsburgh on a Sunday night. It was awesome. Next year it will be back to the streams except for 3 or 4 I bet.
  8. And then if testing positive you will only incur fines, no suspensions. The fine amount depends on which stage you are in as well. The most hefty will be 3 game checks.
  9. A 32 year old, often injured WR who had lost a step before all of the injuries? No thanks.
  10. Okung @ LT and moving Little @ G could be the reason for the trade. That still leaves them with flexibility as to what they do in the draft.
  11. Most teams have an extensive analytics department now. Doug Pederson is a person who rode this wave to a SB a couple of years ago. The analytics aspect, all of the numbers involved, and percentages for all of these situations are crunched by the "computers folks" to help the decision making process. Software. Sometimes things are still done off of feel and instinct, but most times they are based off of these percentages. I'm sure this is a lot of what Marc will be involved in, the implementation of strategies based off of such numbers.
  12. Another thing to consider is San Francisco signing Brady to a 1 year deal to go all in this year, but then chasing Shanny's boy Cousins next year when he becomes a FA. That could be the real plan behind all of it. They don't think Janeane is the long term solution so they sign Brady for a year, release Janeane, and go after Kirk in 2021.
  13. 1. The Bills take a Division II Safety with their 1st Round pick....... People on TSW: Chaisson isn't making it past Atlanta
  14. If they think he gives them their best shot to win a SB within the next two years then it would make perfect sense. They already have a sick defense. Pay Brady, try to get a Lombardi in the next 2 years, and then move forward. I can see this being the case. The Shanahan offense with Matt Ryan wasn't as basic as what they are running for Garofalo it seems. You could also see the frustration on his face many times throughout the season.
  15. It does if they view him as an upgrade on Janeane, which he probably is, and they are trying to cash in on a two year window they believe they have.
  16. The ESPN broadcast does suck and they have gotten progressively worse every year with their production. The commentary is horrendous. The good ole days of Al, Frank, and Dan are loooooong gone.
  17. *Pops the Brian Cushing nutritional pack then prays* Milano: "Dear God, please give me another shot at Deshaun Watson, please...."
  18. You could make the same argument for Claypool making Book look mediocre even with all of the catches he made to bail him out on a weekly basis. Claypool accounted for 1/4 of Book's completions, over 1/3 of his yards, and over 1/3 of his TD's. Manziel was a completely different QB in college and his style fit that game. He threw some absolute dimes to Evans over his couple of years there, not taking anything away from Evans' ability of course. Watch the two highlight videos. I see tons of similarities between Claypool and Evans. The both naturally use their body the same to shield off defenders. Both are hands catchers. Eerily similar in what I see between the two. One thing, a huge difference you will notice, is that almost every single pass to Claypool 20 yards or more downfield he has to adjust to in some way, shape, or form. How many times did Manziel hit Evans in stride perfectly? And, yes, you were ABSOLUTELY right about Peterman.
  19. Frazier is nothing, but a class act. Well deserved and glad we have him.
  20. Maybe a bit , but watch them both in college. Watch the body control, the difficult catches at times, the high-pointing when necessary, the way the both of them look running in the open field after the catch, it's quite similar. Say what you want about Manziel, but he's one of the best college QB's to play in the last 20 years and that was Mike Evans' QB @ A&M while Claypool had Brandon Wimbush and Ian Book.
