No, I'm not saying it's all on him by any means. He and that offense still aren't built to win a game that way. He's the MVP this year, 1st team All Pro, and put together one heck of a season. They let him do whatever between the 20's, but shut them down after that.

A lot of those yards, even admittedly by ESPN (shockingly), were garbage time yards when the game was already decided. The Titans pretty much dominated the first 3 quarters of the game, controlled the clock, and forced 3 turnovers by Lamar.

Does this say his motivation was the $$$? Does he turn back into years 1-3 Shaq after he gets paid? That's the question.

Beasley is trash. I don't think Beane/McD are that stupid. Bud Dupree was nothing until offenses had to start focusing more of their attention on Watt. Clayborn is trash and is close to 32. Clowney is gonna be too rich for our blood, as will Ngakoue. I expect Shaq to be re-signed, Liuget to be re-signed, and Phillips allowed to walk. We get Harry back next year and still have Taylor. They won't break the bank for anyone on either side of the ball, though I do hope they open up their wallet somewhat for Conklin.

Tennessee already has $31,000,000+ tied up in their OL for 3 players and I believe they will tag Henry whom also is a FA. Conklin will be there for the taking and I hope Beane/McDermott are calling as soon as the FA negotiating period begins. Move Ford to LG, let Spain walk, and there you have it.

Ngakoue had 1.5 more sacks on 320 more snaps than Lawson. I don't see Beane ponying up $17,000,000+ as season for him. I think the more likely scenario is we re-sign Lawson and get another Day 2 or early Day 3 DE whom they feel has upside at the position.
