  1. It's early my friend, extremely early. I'd almost expect Dawkins and Milano to get done prior to White. I'm not saying that White is greedy, but I'm sure he and his agent want to maximize his value. His contract will almost certainly surpass Byron Jones now and I believe he may be waiting for the $$$ to get spread out to a couple of other guys as well, Harris and Slay possibly. Tre's deal will make him the highest paid CB in the league when it happens. Again though we have seen that Beane takes care of our own, the guys they really want here, with the Jordan Poyer extension. Last year it was with Hughes. This is one regime that I completely have faith in when it comes to taking care of our core players.
  2. That would be fantastic. Can you imagine the "Pats*** Nation" meltdown? It would be a most epic scene.
  3. It truly depends on how quickly things get under control and back to a sense of normalcy. Football is a welcomed distraction right now for us sports fans who have already watched everything else be cancelled. This is usually one of the greatest times of the year with March Madness in full swing and the NFL offseason kicking in. Baseball would gearing up. Instead we are faced with some harsh realities. Life is interrupted. We have friends and family members affected by things out of our control. People are losing jobs left and right at this stage, others are being sent home with no income for weeks on end. It's a mad time in this world right now, one like my eyes have never seen. People are fighting in stores and on the streets for basic necessities because one feels they need to hoard while others have nothing. As much as I want to be excited about the coming season, and part of me still is, it's hard not to be focused on everything going on around us and realize this could change the entirety of everything as a whole beyond the postponement of all the sporting spectacles we all look forward to.
  4. Probably until his agent started talking $$$
  5. What?!?!?! You wouldn't want this guy as the face of your franchise for the next few years?
  6. This will put him in the same division with Mahomes and the Chiefs as well, which I'm sure the NFL would love to hype twice in the regular season.
  7. He won't go to the Pats I believe for the reasons you stated. It will probably either be LAC or CHI as he fits better within those systems.
  8. He's trying to show Joe he's willing to build a "winner"
  9. And a guy they gave up many of those picks for coming up on a BIG contract.
  10. Oh how the mighty have fallen. The Rams will be right back on the trash heap before you know it.
  11. Pass. He's trying to get big $$$ too.
  12. I take it this guy isn't happy with the Minny's decision.
  13. Great talent, exactly what we need on offense, but will have to see how he carries himself with this team. Right now it's a B, but will easily be an A if he comes in and lights it up in this offense while being a quality locker room presence.
  14. Courtesy of Antonio Brown, he's got the gummy plug
  15. These two deals aren't even close in compensation. We swapped firsts and gave up a 1st the following year for Watkins and a 4th, who was unproven in the NFL at the time. Diggs is proven, we gave up far less in draft capital, and there is no NFL learning curve to go through.
  16. He definitely maximized his value for sure.
  17. Kind of a disappointment, but there are other options via FA and the draft.
  18. The author also fails to take into account what a blithering idiot Bill O'Brien is. You can't logically compare the trade of Hopkins to any other because it absolutely defied all logic whatsoever.
  19. Sorry Pats Nation, I'm taking my talents to the Bay
  20. I still think we add a RB then possibly guys on both OL and DL.
