  1. Damar Hamlin starting? This Secondary is in trouble.
  2. And still is. God help us if he's starting.
  3. And this is the difference between us and KC. They drafted Pat Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, Trent McDuffie, L'Jarius Sneed, Creed Humphrey, Tyreek Hill, and Trey Smith. Now granted not all of those guys are there anymore, but they have all turned out to be top tier players and contributed to their run. We drafted Josh Allen.
  4. And I get that, but I see this case different than others. Video evidence and his lawyer admitting to the fact he was driving. He's guilty. He's already admitted it, through his lawyer of course. Now it's just the facade of the legal aspects for a rich athlete that have to play out. But you're right about what the NFLPA would do. If Goodell didn't even put Watson on the exempt list, he won't put Rice either. Their personal conduct policy and explanations thereof are a sham.
  5. I understand what you're saying. I've seen the hypocrisy in how the NFL, Goodell, handles things. This is different than most though. He hasn't come out pleading his innocence, probably because there is so much evidence against him. His lawyer even admitted Rice was driving. This is after Britt Reid (yes, I know he was not a player, but it's Chiefs related). This is after the Jalen Carter incident where two people lost their lives. He is literally on video leaving the scene of the accident. Every aspect of this entire situation is detrimental to the league.
  6. This is pretty baffling, outside of the fact he plays on the new NFL darlings. Zay Jones is suspended 5 games for "conduct detrimental to the league" and he was never prosecuted (not claiming he is a better human being). Rice is facing 8 charges from his CONFIRMED involvement in racing down a highway involving a hit and run. There's video evidence. His lawyer admitted Rice was driving. How is this not deemed "conduct detrimental to the league"? Even after that, being the upstanding human being he is, he is asking for the civil suits pending from the people who got hit in the hit and run portion of his escapade to be tossed. I guess staging a video shoot handing out some pizza and water bottles served as his atonement.
  7. The way people are on their phones scrolling and texting while driving, I don't trust those either.
  8. Am I the only one who Google'd to see if rejiggered was an actual word?
  9. You can't blame them really. It's their first time having consecutive Playoff appearances since Wannstedt. It doesn't mean he will make it as their HC for that long, but he has been better than what they had seen previously for the past 20 years.
  10. They were already scheduled to be like $39M over next year BEFORE this deal.
  11. The 49ers are all in on Cap Hell next year.
  12. He'll be benched by week 6 after they play Dallas. At that point Pittsburgh will be 1-4 and have lost 4 in a row.
  13. That's how it is for a lot of these athletes. These women out here using them like a winning lottery ticket.
  14. See, that's why Beane traded him
  15. I told everyone this was going to happen as soon as he got released.
  16. I would lose
  17. KC is the new NE for the NFL. Everything is slanted towards their favor, as much as can be without being over the top obvious to the entire audience. The "sticky" coverage, the OL holding, and some other stuff that may go unnoticed here or there. Especially once the NFL had their ultimate cash cow in Taylor Swift. The full frontal assault to reel in all the Swifties was on.
  18. Without hesitation, I let him kick. Just my 2. To me this seems more like a "do you trust a McDermott defense?" type of question. I don't know if I do, but I'd rather let Bass kick than try a 4th and 7.
  19. My expectations are extremely tempered this year, but it's still Bills football. We still have Josh Allen and he's always fun to watch. And because we have Josh Allen, we'll always be competitive.
  20. Nope, that would be the entire Cowboys season if he doesn't get that Lamb back in with the flock
  21. It is what it is. Who could have known Mahomes and Kelce would sell their souls to Satan like Brady did?
  22. You know who is available?
  23. Do we? I think so. Josh is still Josh. He IS still Superman. We may not win the division though. We have the hardest schedule out of the rest. The OL makes me nervous, the Safety depth chart makes me nervous, and Milano going down adds to the uncertainty on the defensive side of the ball. The OL, if it has taken a step back, will drastically affect the running game and put even more weight on Josh. I don't want to see Hamlin on the field except for ST's. If he's starting, we're in trouble. I have faith that Williams can be solid in Milano's place, but our depth just took a huge hit. The WR group, though not the greatest, Josh has succeeded with less. I think we can get in the Playoffs. I think we could win the division still. But this schedule, more than years past, could put us in a bind quick.
  24. Then add in the Safety question marks to Milano's absence.
