  1. Meh, not really feeling this one. That $8M would have been better served spent on the Secondary or a different player altogether. This guy is not impressive by any means.
  2. No. If it was Hopkins 3 years ago, sure. This Hopkins only had 41 catches for 437 yards with Mahomes throwing the ball and Reid scheming the offense. He's gonna have a hard time living up to that in Baltimore.
  3. I don't know about "earth shattering", but I like the Bosa signing. I'm glad we extended Groot, Bernard, and Shakir. I'm glad we re-signed Johnson. I kinda like the Josh Palmer signing. Scouting report says he runs crisp routes that get him open. Out of his 39 catches, 28 went for 1st downs. That's a 71% clip. I believe he is more of our new Gabe Davis. I'd like for us to get a CB before the draft, depth or whatever. The cupboard is pretty bare and Elam doesn't look like he's ever gonna amount to anything. Overall, I think it's a solid B thus far.
  4. All of those guys I listed have the size, the base, and the power to play the 1-tech. My preferences are Grant, Walker, Collins, or Caldwell. Williams is a solid option also.
  5. No, not that Jordan Phillips my friend. Jordan Phillips from Maryland in the upcoming draft. He's a day 3 option as a 1-tech
  6. Grant is 330lbs+. Deone Walker is 340lbs. Alfred Collins is 320lbs. Omar Norman-Lott is 315lbs. CJ West is 316lbs. Jordan Phillips is 320lbs. I did forget Jamaree Caldwell who is also 340lbs. ALL of these guys truly could fill the position and we just need two. Tyleik Williams, yeah, he could be one of the two as well.
  7. Kenneth Grant, Alfred Collins, Deone Walker, Omar Norman-Lott, Jordan Phillips, CJ West, give me two big guys for the 1-Tech who can eat up blockers.
  8. Yeah, I don't think there is any way Cincy would send Hendrickson to the Bills. Adebo signed with the Giants.
  9. Yes. I like the signing. I like the player. I'm just stating his injury history. That is all. That's why I said it could be high reward as well.
  10. High risk because of his injury history. He's made a full season 3 times in 9 years.
  11. Bosa is a high risk, high reward type of signing. He is coming off the most pressures he's ever had in a single season with 39, and he only played in 14 games. That's about 3 a game. Question is who are they lining up outside the LT? Both Groot and Bosa typically line up outside the RT.
  12. Well, we are on the hook for at least $18M over 3 years. That averages out to $6M per. If we structured it any way otherwise, it will add more to the cap numbers early on or later down the road, depending on said structure. The initial reports are always from agents trying to make it look like they got their client some eye-popping sum of $$$.
  13. They say the Dolphins and 49ers have offers on the table that come in under $10M, but I haven't seen where he has signed with anyone yet.
  14. Honestly, I didn't really see anything wrong with what he said. He did sound disappointed that maybe they weren't trying to scheme anything for him specifically after the injury. But he also acknowledges that he was out for 6 weeks of real time. The offense had really shifted in that time. Maybe they didn't feel he put his all in conditioning wise during that time out, or maybe he didn't push through the rehab like they had hoped. Not sure what went on behind the scenes that caused McDermott and Beane to say what they did publicly. All we can do is hope he trains his tail off during the offseason, and comes back better from it.
  15. People are knocking this post, but Blackmon would be a solid option. He is a good coverage Safety to have roaming on the back end out there. His price tag also likely is going to be in the $7M range. I like his potential back there.
  16. This is disappointing. He was a spark every time he stepped on the field.
  17. All mixed up, you don't know what to do, next thing you turn around and find that person is you. Seriously though, this said 267lbs. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HoecMi00.htm
  18. I haven't read ANY articles on him. Glad Beane ain't spending my money.
  19. Washington definitely needed OL help.
  20. Looks like Dyami Brown just got $10M from Jax, and it's worth up to $12M. That $12M is basically what we just gave Palmer.
  21. That is BIG $$$ for Sweat. A guy I think would fit in well here as a depth piece, and not have a huge $$$ tag, is Darrell Taylor. He had 9.5 sacks for Seattle one year and is only about to be 28. He would essentially replace Smoot.
  22. Bynum too. I can't see Holland getting $15M or more. That has to be his agent talking.
  23. Dang, Moehrig got way more $$$ than I thought he would get.
  24. It won't happen here. No Safety will sniff $15M per season on this team.
