Robert Woods 4yr/65m extension
H2o replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Woods was a solid player, but everyone knew he was going home to California once he hit the FA market. I know I did. With all due respect to Mike Clay and his little Twitter jab at the Bills, the head coaches of those teams were Marrone for two years and Rex for two years. His QB's were EJ Manuel, Thad Lewis, Jeff Tuel, Kyle Orton, Matt Cassel, and Tyrod Taylor. The schemes and QB's weren't going to help him put up the type of numbers he is under McVay. -
I don't know how many of you watch ND football, but this guy is the next player from the Irish who could be really good, if not great, in the NFL. Right now they have him ranked anywhere between Mid 1st Round to Mid 2nd Round on most of the sites I've seen.. The young man is gonna be a beast. He plays what is called the "Rover" position at ND, but he would fit perfect into our scheme taking Milano's spot if he is to leave. He filled up the stat sheet last year with 80 tkl, 13.5 tfl, 5.5 sk, 2 ff, 2 fr, and 4 pd. He came firing out of the gate against Duke last weekend with 6 tkl, 2 tfl, 1 sk, and 1 ff. Last year he was between 205lb-210lb. This year he is coming in around 220lb. Watch him last year below.

The Bengals OL is bad, REAL bad. I know they are excited about their new toy, but if they don't at least attempt to be balanced on offense he won't make it the whole season. They are in the same division as Cleveland, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh. Not good for Joe.
-
He's going to be beaten to death like David Carr if they don't get that OL fixed, and QUICK. This is two weeks in a row, and the first two weeks of the season at that, he has taken an absolute pounding.

I was thinking maybe he or Marlowe see some time opposite of Dodson. I believe Dodson will be fine, it's Klein I'm worried about.

Former Jets C Jonotthan Harrison visiting Bills this week

Wrong Michigan QB, John O'Korn is who I think you meant to say. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2766344-michigan-qb-john-okorn-im-the-most-nfl-ready-qb-in-nfl-draft -
Yeah, the guy says that now until Tre gets a hold of their play sheets

What does Darnold's performance say about Jordan Palmer?
H2o replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will say this, if Darnold doesn't have Crowder this weekend with Bell already out then he and Gore may both not even finish the game against San Fran. Apparently Mekhi Becton is also nursing a knee injury, his LT. The Jets season is spiraling downward in a quick fashion again this year. Can't blame Palmer for what's coming on Sunday. -

I guess this means they will only have in-conference games like the ACC and SEC for the most part?

I think Josh's best game this year comes against the Pats on 11/1. Our whole team gets the monkey off of their back in that matchup. We dominate from start to finish on both sides of the ball. Josh goes for 350 yds passing, 3 TD's, 50 yds rushing, and another TD without any turnovers. Bills 38 - Pats 13.

at people talking about where I posted this thread. We've talked about other team's players and situations here for years on TSW. Yolo is usually Captain Twitter breaking everything before anyone else. I didn't see any tears flowing over the Le'Veon to IR thread or OBJ on the trade block one either. But this one should be elsewhere? Anyway, Allen Robinson is a good WR and the first possible destination that came to mind for me was the Jets with their thin group, frivolity in handing out contracts, and a plethora of picks from the Jamal Adams deal.

Mims and Cashman now on IR as well https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/09/15/blake-cashman-denzel-mims-join-leveon-bell-on-injured-reserve/

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/09/15/report-allen-robinson-asks-bears-to-trade-him/ He's heated over his contract apparently.

The Jets very well could be 0-6 when we play them in NJ come October 25.

Is the "read option" by the Bills something you like?
H2o replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. I think the designed runs need to be put on the shelf. I think Josh is a more effective runner when it is on an improvisational basis. He's not Lamar Jackson who has played this style his whole life. Jackson takes hits different, holds the ball different, and that style is what his game is predicated off of. Josh is built to be a QB who can run if he has to, but shouldn't be having designed runs called outside of QB sneaks imo. -
Lamar Jackson pulled a Josh Allen and no one said a word.

Sure thing guy. Glad you follow me so closely on here apparently. Not trying to hurt your feels or anything, but I think this is the first time I recall even reading something you posted. -

Yeah, we've been the Siberia of football for years now according to them. The place no FA wanted to go, a losing organization, and a team that couldn't win the big one. The media loves to knock Josh, but he's already more accomplished than Mayfield and Darnold who were selected ahead of him. They don't like the taste of crow, but if we keep winning then it will be shoved down their throats whether they like it or not.
