Which running back do you hope the Bills draft and why?
H2o replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There have been 3 guys I wanted us to grab in this draft for months. Those 3 guys are Chase Claypool/WR/Notre Dame, Kenny Willekes/DE/Michigan St., and AJ Dillon/RB/Boston College. Don't get me wrong, I would be happy with Swift, Taylor, or Dobbins, but I think they will be gone before we look to draft a RB(and at this point before we even get our 1st pick @ #54). With Dillon you are getting a powerful, one cut runner who has breakaway speed when he gets in the open. You basically never see one guy able to bring him down. He is quite Derrick Henry-esque in his running ability, a guy who many on here were clamoring for us to get in FA. When teams played Boston College they knew the offensive gameplan, feed Dillon the rock, and he still ran for almost 1,700 yards with 14 TD's. I think he would add a dynamic in the running game they were using Gore for last year, only with young legs. -

If Swift, Taylor, or Dobbins are on the board in Round 2 I take one of the 3, whomever that may be. I think all three of them would make an excellent compliment to Singletary. If they're all off of the board then I take Claypool if he's there because I believe he immediately changes our attack even more so than we have already adding Diggs. I just think he's going to be a nightmare to cover, would make it basically impossible to guard our sum of receiving weapons, and open up the field all over. I don't think Shenault does that in this offense with our depth chart right now. If all 4 of the aforementioned are off of the board then BPA at DE/CB/S/OL/LB/TE, whomever that may be. No matter what happens I expect Beane, McDermott, and Co. to come away with not only their BPA, but a guy who will make an immediate impact. -

Yes, because I'm not getting a vaccine regardless. -
With the 106th pick in the 2020 NFL draft the Baltimore Ravens select, Lynn Bowden Jr., WR, Kentucky. This pick makes sense in a ton of ways due to Bowden's versatility. Not only do we add another receiving option, who can be groomed to replace Snead, but we get a guy we can scheme for now due to his open field ability and the added dimension he brings as a runner. Bubble screens, reverses, end arounds, quick slants, quick outs, just get the ball to him and let him go to work. Roman will find ways to get the ball in this young man's hands. It also gives the defense someone else they have to account for, whether it be pass or run, so it will open up things even more. 1. Cesar Ruiz / C / Michigan 2a. Julian Okwara / DE / Notre Dame 2b. Cam Akers / RB / Florida St. 3a. Jordyn Brooks / LB / Texas Tech 3b. Lynn Bowden Jr / WR / Kentucky This would be a good first two days of the draft for the Baltimore Ravens.

And I, well, the Baltimore Ravens get the last pick of the draft.

I would be shocked if he falls out of the top 10. He's a Russell Wilson type of talent at QB, but he has an extensive injury history. Every report I have seen about his rechecks have been positive. Either way, injury history or not, you are taking a risk when you draft a QB early in the 1st. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it does not.

Tre is under contract for 2 more years, assuming we pick up the 5th year option. Beane has been adamant about saying he wanted to keep our core guys together whom we have drafted. I'd say Tre fits that bill. Beane rewards those who play well for us as evidenced by the contracts we have doled out around here. Tre has NEVER ONCE hinted that he didn't want to be here in any way, shape, or form. He has embraced the team, the city, the fanbase, and the other sports franchise in the city of Buffalo. Looking at both Ramsey and White side by side the moral of the story is, kids, don't grow up to be like Jalen Ramsey.

With the 92nd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft the Baltimore Ravens select Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech. Our defense was exposed against Tennessee in the playoffs and earlier in the year against the 49ers. We aren't very good at stopping the run. Brooks, with his athletic ability, will go a long way to helping correct that problem. He was a highly productive LB at the college level who is physical, has that mentality on defense that you love to see out of your ILB prospects, plays sideline to sideline, and offers some pass rush juice from the inside as well. The things we see, which we feel can be coached, is his ability to cover where he wasn't asked to do much of that in college and sometimes he is more reactive than instinctive. Both will improve with coaching and repetition at the next level in our defensive scheme. @Philo and the Titans are on the clock.

POLL - TSW Mock 2.0 - Who would you take with the 3rd round pick?
H2o replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, Uche is like a college version of Lorax. Michigan lined him up everywhere. Inside on the DL, on the edge, at LB dropping into coverage, the guy was all over that front, and he has 4.5 speed to go with it that you can see on tape. He's just undersized at like 245lbs. -

I like Uche here a lot. He's got a bit of Yannick to him. You know, the guy everyone wants us to give up assets for and pay $20,000,000 per season? -
