Yes, but WHO does he plan to knee during the anthem? If it's Landry, I would pay to see that.

New interview - Wyoming Head coach re Josh
H2o replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes sir. This goes back to what I was talking about during his rookie year. You could see the team as a whole, Off./Def./ST, had a completely different vibe when he was on the field playing QB. After that Minnesota game where he leaped over Barr like a traffic cone the rest of the guys were all in on Josh Allen. -
Politics in Football, Sports in General

I treat everyone the same online and in person. I treat everyone the same regardless of race, gender, or orientation. I can't speak for everyone else on that, only myself. I, myself, am over things being shoved in my face by people who have no idea about what it's like to live as the average person in this world. Hollywood, athletes, musicians, politicians, reporters in any field, all of them. I could care less what they want, or about the propaganda they push, or what "side" they are on. I don't need their guidance in any aspect of my life. Their opinions are useless to me personally. They don't pay my bills, they don't raise my kids, and they don't live my life. The only influence they have is with those whom give them that authority and I am not one who holds them in that regard. -

Everyone is allowed their own opinions and everyone surely has them. I don't care about their opinions as I sure as heck know that they really don't care about mine. My world and theirs are completely different. At the same time, when all of the sports programming becomes no better than CNN, MSNBC, or Fox News, which I avoid at all costs, it gets ridiculous. Sports is meant to be an escape. It is where we have always united together in fandom regardless of race, gender, or orientation. We are all like an extended family. I see people wearing Bills gear and we immediately have a connection. When all of the outside mess is brought into it then things just lose their luster. It's part of the reason that my love of sports has definitely declined over the last few years. They keep up with the propaganda then there will be MANY who walk away without looking back and then it will hit these people where it hurts most, in the pocket. -
At this point I'm starting to care less and less about sports, it's "stars", and everything involved behind it in general. Don't get me wrong, I love football. I have since I was a little kid throwing the ball in the air, running it down, and making diving catches by myself while pretending to be different players. I love the Bills and have for over 30 years now. I've loved this board for over 14 years now discussing the Bills and all things NFL, but I am growing disinterested in this place as well. The longer all of this drags out, the more disinterested I get. Kaep's protest was always his right. The thing about that is the first week he was just slumping on the bench because he was second fiddle to Gabbert. He, his gf, and his agent spun things as quickly as they possibly could then the story took off. Kudos to them for their genius move. In this time he has done many questionable things such as donating money to a fund started in the name of a cop killer, his choice of apparel, and a lot of the words he has spoken. It's felt more like a reality show than anything genuine. There are good and bad in anything in life. There are good cops and bad cops. There are good preachers and bad preachers. There are good people from all races and there are bad people from all races. There are good employers and there are bad employers. There are good lawyers and there are bad lawyers. The list could go on. The only thing truly within our control is ourselves, how we treat others, and the things we instill within our children. I, personally, owe no one anything. I have always treated everyone with the same decency, respect, and kindness regardless of any situation that has happened in life. Good run-ins or bad run-ins, I have never passed judgement on all because of the actions of some. I also don't apologize for things I have had no hand in. There are numerous things that can be pointed out on ALL sides of this situation that show the absolute hypocrisy behind it on many levels, but the truth, because it hurts, many times just breeds more contention. In these days and times the need to blame someone for anything or everything is the focus. The use of the singular word "you" in a place to label the plural of "all" is the cause used to justify the evil enacted behind it. This world in general is on a downward spiral and though it's not surprising, it's still sad to watch. It won't change me or the way I carry myself in life because I won't allow it to, but I am watching it change many people on here and in the immediate world around me as well, but not for the better.

Great work my friend

It think everyone is entitled to their opinion. Everyone can kneel, stand, salute, cover their heart, do whatever they want during the anthem. I know a lot of light is being placed on racial prejudice at this time, but it goes many different ways. Not all of us were raised in what would be considered the suburbs. In the city/neighborhood I grew up in, black people would pick one or two white people out at the HS football games to jump when the game was over seemingly every week. Seen a lot of fights and had to run for my life a couple of times even though I never said anything to anyone except my friends while I was there. They would also walk home in groups throwing rocks at people's cars or homes breaking windows. If you walked through the wrong neighborhood then you were more than likely going to get your whooped, didn't matter if you kept your mouth shut or not. There were just certain places you knew NOT to go. Even in all of this, a lot of my best friends I have ever had in life are Hispanic and Black to this day. I didn't let it change who I was or how I treated people. I have also had cops run up on me on some crazy mess numerous times. I was profiled all the time because of my age and the car I drove at one point, even being white. They automatically assume things when they look at you. One time I even had like 10 cops run up on me at a Walgreens when I had my 8 year old, 6 year old, and the family dog when we were just out to get a few things all over some recently expired tags and an insurance gap that got my license suspended I wasn't even aware of. The same cops had been in my front yard a week before and never mentioned it KNOWING that they knew it then, but never told me. There is a long story behind how that all played out. I got everything squared away before the court date and all the tickets were thrown out. The head cop over the situation was HEATED and told me "you live in a small city". I still got love for the police. My cousin is a good cop, but not all of them are and he will admit that. My point in all of this is we are all just trying to make it through life the best we can, no matter the race or tax bracket. The same light afforded to one, should be afforded to all.

Bills fans the next time they see Peter King

The ball is basically in his court. He's had offers from teams seen as contenders and otherwise, but is still not on a roster. It's strictly about $$$ at this point and maybe he doesn't want to participate in any team's TC. Who knows? He will be on a roster somewhere by the middle-end of August with the team that offers him the most money, regardless of whether they are viewed as a contending team or not. It won't be us.

Owners to vote on Extending EA exclusive License
H2o replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In the end, it's all about $$$ and not the quality of the game for the persons who play. Not only do they charge you $60 a pop when the game comes out, they get you on the back end buying packs and upgrades. EA can offer an amount that will keep them in their back pockets I'm sure because they are making a killing with all of the sports franchise games they have. -

Dallas 175 million 5 year offer to Prescott
H2o replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand your point, but if the team doesn't win then it's all for naught. That's why I say they better hope Garrett was the problem. They may not be faced with tough decisions per say, but they may definitely be facing buyer's remorse. -

If you like high paid players that get you 7-9, 8-8, or possibly 9-7 records every season. They better fudge the money on that Dak contract somehow because it's gonna put them right on the brink for a couple of years at least. They also better hope that Garrett was the problem. -

Can Stefon Diggs Emerge as a Superstar in Buffalo?
H2o replied to jletha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The other people are still going to get their touches and it is the people you named. Another year in the system and another year of growth for all of them. Brown, Beasley, Knox, then we added Davis and Hodgins. We still have to see where/if Duke/Foster fit in. We also added Moss to pair with Singletary so I believe we will still run the ball quite a bit, as well as utilize them out of the backfield. Unless this offense turns into a juggernaut then Diggs is not going to have a 100 catch, 1'400 yd, 10 TD season where they start to classify him as a superstar. -
Can Stefon Diggs Emerge as a Superstar in Buffalo?
H2o replied to jletha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This offense is going to have multiple playmakers. The ball is going to be spread around too much for Diggs to have elite numbers, unless Josh turns into Mahomes and we are putting up 35pts a game. -
Happy birthday Josh. The best is yet to come.

Stupid. Learns from it and moves forward, hopefully.
