  1. No, definitely not writing him off my friend. I think he can be a good starter in this league and a Phillip Rivers type. One who has always been that next level just below the elite QB's.
  2. Running up on Gillette like....
  3. They have built a solid team and it will be interesting to see which way they go in the draft with that high 1st. I would expect OL, but Flores is a former DC so they could go for Parsons. I think Tua can be a quality starter, but his arm doesn't look that live to me. As long as they run an offense where it's more based on timing and quick throws I think he can do well. I don't see him ever becoming a Mahomes, Rodgers, Watson, Wilson, or Allen type of QB though. Just my 2.
  4. We shall see. They won't always have Fitz to bring in as a relief pitcher to bail them out.
  5. The NFL is done for Gordon now imo. Hopefully he can get his life in order and find some peace off of the field in his own personal life.
  6. The Ravens and the Bills will lock up their QB, likely after they pick up the 5th year options. It's the same thing we did with Tre. I wouldn't be surprised if the Browns pick up Mayfield's 5th year option and then wait to see how he does next year before handing out a new contract in his 5th year, and that's if he continues his current trajectory. The Jets will not be picking up Darnold's 5th year and what they do with that #2 pick will decide whether he even finishes out his 1st contract in NY.
  7. Harrison is a Pats homer, like Bruschi. But with Josh showing out on the field, and people really starting to see the other side of him in the locker room, it's impossible to rationally deny he's becoming a superstar in this league. The ones who do either have an axe to grind or they're shamelessly looking for clicks.
  8. Rich Eisen flipping out
  9. Bill O'Brien even scoffs at this trade proposal.
  10. Points scored going up, points allowed going down. What does it mean?
  11. This. I think it's a combination of him blowing up their preconceived talking points and narratives they've used about Allen over the last couple of years, the fact that he plays for the Bills, and how many of them STILL TO THIS DAY will not admit they were wrong about the kid.
  12. Does anyone take this guy seriously?
  13. For all the talk of the Dolphins and Flores, they had multiple 1st round picks and spent a lot of money on the defensive side of the ball in FA. Everyone knew they would be better. 9-5? A bit of a surprise, but some of the talking heads said they would win the division and not the Bills. Our schedules have been pretty brutal this year in the AFCE which is why McDermott should be near the top, as well as Flores. The overall success of this team should clearly give McDermott an edge over him though. There is a long list right now and a couple of games to go. Reid, Rivera, McDermott, Flores, Lafleur, Payton, Tomlin, Vrabel, and maybe even Stefanski. We'll see how the final two weeks play out.
  14. Not only is Skip Bayless one of the worst "sports reporters" I ever wasted any seconds of my life listening to, but he's also an OU homer. Him and Stephen A together day in and day out was about like Lebatard and his group of bumbling idiots now.
  15. I'm glad they won a game, but I could care less who the Jets QB is. Unless they find a good HC and GM combo then it will be wash, rinse, repeat every 2 to 3 years as it has been.
  16. Win games and let the rest sort itself out. The way the defense is catching up with the offense, there is no team in the NFL I don't believe we can beat right now.
  17. Agreed. There is a difference between being a "light" in the world and forcing your way into a room to cut the light on.
  18. I don't know Cousins personally, but I remember stories from when he was in Washington about him being rather arrogant in his piety which caused friction among his teammates.
  19. I honestly think he is one Hail Murray away from being the lead dog right now. If we had won that game the talk about it would be the drive he led and that dime throw to Diggs in the clutch. We would also be 12-2, with the #2 seed, and still an outside shot at the #1.
  20. When I saw how that game ended all I could do was This is the most Jets situation ever. A team going absolutely nowhere, with the top pro prospect at QB about to fall into their lap, and then boom. Gase gets his team to put together a competent outing and Frank Gore is the star of the game. Good for the players because no one wants to go 0-16, but at the organization as a whole.
  21. The Jets up 20-3 on the Rams
  22. I think they pick up the 5th year option and get a contract done afterwards just like with Tre. I say the deal will be 7 years, $315,000,000 with $210,000,000 guaranteed.
  23. What the?....... Is that a guy on the roof up there? I hope there's not a table below.
