Bengals and Burrow agree on 4 yr 36.1 million deal

We'll see how their OL pans out, the TE position is a question mark, and their RB situation after Mixon is a bit murky. They did have a solid draft all the way around imo though. If Tee Higgins turns into a solid contributor, and they can ever get something consistent out of Ross, then the WR depth chart looks really good. I like what the rookie Khalid Kareem brings off of the edge on that defense, but I'm also a Notre Dame homer. I also like the two LB's they drafted in Wilson and Davis-Gaither. I think Davis-Gaither is gonna be an impact player for them out of the gate. Adding Reader to play with Atkins was HUGE for that defensive front. They might surprise some people this year. My thinking on Brown though is how will he handle things long term and if he will do what is necessary to get the best team around Burrow. -

I think Burrow is going to be a top 10 QB in this league for a long time. He has incredible accuracy, especially on the deep passes. If they actually build around him, unlike Brown has done in some other instances, then I would expect the Bengals to actually be on the rise. -
Good for Bosa. He's one heck of a football player when healthy. Gets after the QB like a madman and plays the run well also. I'm sure this contract will trigger some tweets by Ngakoue in the very near future.

TSW is going to have to find a new whipping boy. Murphy, you are front and center now.

Completely understandable. I'm sure there will be more than a few "big names" who do this.

I don't think anyone is saying he's the greatest QB in the game, but you can't deny that he has been absolutely electric. It's like Vick in the Atlanta years. Everyone knew Vick wasn't a pure passer, but he was the greatest athlete that anyone had seen at the position. Lamar is a step above Vick already in his development. Yes, we will have to see if his playing style is sustainable as even before the suspension Vick's body was breaking down on him just as Cam Newton and his now. At this point though I have absolutely 0 issue with Lamar being at #7.

Lamar is not Tyrod in any way my friend. He is the same exact guy in the NFL that he was in college. If anything I would say he's Kaep on steroids. The guy is electric. Our defense held him to his lowest output of the year in total yards from scrimmage, but not everyone has our defense to do that. If Lamar can improve his passing to the boundaries then it's lights out. Right now though he doesn't throw those very well. He loves his tall receivers whether they be TE or WR and a lot of his passing production comes off of the threat of his legs finding those tall receivers. The talent is there and he is in the perfect system for his skill set. You have to give credit where credit is due sometimes brother. If Allen had a year like Lamar then EVERYONE on here would be defending him if naysayers popped up.

How are you handling fantasy leagues during Covid?
H2o replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly, the opinions of these athletes on any issues are not important to me. Neither are any of the opinions from the Hollywood crowd, the music industry, the national media, or any other form of celebrity in this country. The only influence they have is the influence you allow and I have never given them that sway in my life. I've also taught my children the same, to follow your own convictions and not those projected onto you by others. As far as the FF leagues? I don't have any interest. My keeper league is still having the draft, which is always fun, but with all of the uncertainty around everything it makes it hard to get amped up about it like I normally would. I've seen an inning of baseball, a few highlights from basketball games, and it's just meh all the way around. I'd imagine I will feel the same way about the NFL when they start up as well. -
Nigel Bradham to Bills? (Update - signed with Saints, now cut)
H2o replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would definitely be a quality depth signing if this happens. Our team is shaping up quite nicely. If Josh improves from year 2 to 3 like he did from 1 to 2 then we have a legitimate contender on our hands folks. -
"Fracking Stadium" anyone?
