I'm going with Knox. The guy flashed some serious potential last season. I fully expect him to get the drops issue cleaned up and be the best receiving TE we've ever had in a Bills uniform. I think he spends a majority, if not all, of his career here in Buffalo.

We'll just agree to disagree. I have full confidence in our staff to get him prepared for the regular season and I believe that the missed preseason this year doesn't hinder his development in any way.

How many reps does a team's Franchise QB usually get in the preseason? Maybe one full game's worth? 4 quarters of football in a meaningless setting is really not going to do much for him. Also, with McDermott being the defensive mind he is, I'm sure he has our defenses simulating other teams' concepts used previously that caused Josh issues. He's not taking the hits he typically would with a normal preseason slate, but I surely believe they are preparing him for what he will face down the road to the best of their abilities.

Uhhhhh, no. The preseason means nothing for Allen. He faces one of the NFL's 3 best defenses in practice every single day. He'll be just fine when the regular season bullets start flying.

Agreed. It was a solid breakdown. The emphasis being on two positions of weakness, the backup QB and CB2. We really do have a good team and we didn't interchange much in the offseason for the most part. The OL is going to be intact outside of Williams starting at RT with Ford at RG. We upgraded the RB and WR positions. The DL will be just as strong as last year, if not stronger. We'll have to see who takes on that Lorax leadership role, but it sounds like Edmunds has really stepped up in that department. It all hinges on Josh. If he takes a step forward from year two to three as he did from one to two, and is consistently hitting those downfield targets, then the NFL is on notice.

Imagine if our OL actually IS now solidified and becomes top 10 in the league? We already have Singletary who was gashing defenses last year and now Moss who has drawn rave reviews thus far in TC. If our running game becomes upper echelon then that will open things up for the passing game that much more. This team will be a LEGIT contender.

I like that our offense is facing a defense like ours in practice. Our defense is easily top 3 in the league. Josh is gonna have some rough days, but it will make him better for it in the end.

I completely disagree with this one my friend. Bruce was a monster both rushing the passer and playing against the run. How many DE's do you see end up with over 100 combined tackles these days? In his prime Bruce would give you between 80-105 tackles, 14-19 sacks, 14-20 TFL's, and 3-5 FF per season. That was none too common in his day nor is it now. His presence alone would strike fear into opposing QB's. I take Bruce over Revis ANY day of the week and twice on Sunday.

That's just it though. Ngakoue THINKS he's elite and wants to get paid like he's elite, but he's truly not. Pass.

Training Camp news? Yeah, I'm gonna be sidelined a couple of weeks. I failed my conditioning test. Laughing at the responses in this thread has left me a little too winded to physically be out there right now.
