  1. I had nothing prompt me about a pay wall when I clicked on the link.
  2. If he is truly healthy I would offer him an incentive laden deal. Even with incentives that deal would not exceed $4M.
  3. Pass and pass. Neither is really an upgrade from what we have at either position. Would rather use the money towards re-signing D. Williams.
  4. I'd take this draft for sure 29: R1 P29 LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah - Notre Dame 61: R2 P29 RB Najee Harris - Alabama 92: R3 P28 EDGE Rashad Weaver - Pitt 158: R5 P17 CB Darren Hall - San Diego State 170: R5 P29 OT James Hudson - Cincinnati 207: R6 P28 TE Tommy Tremble - Notre Dame 230: R7 P8 WR Trevon Grimes - Florida
  5. Beasley should stick to rappin, Ramsey should stick to getting burnt by Devante Adams, Tyler should stick to making Madea movies, and Tua should stick to looking up YouTube videos on "How To Improve Your Arm Strength".
  6. All these symptoms are also present in people who just get used to the fortune, fame, and spotlight that comes along with the thrill they get along their journey through athletics or in any other manner. Celebrity, fame, and fortune are all just like a drug. Many people suffer from it, or the lack thereof, when their respective times pass them by. Again, I'm not saying CTE did not play a part, but I am saying it was not the only cause.
  7. No, it wasn't just CTE. That almost certainly played a part of it, but there was more to the entire story. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/9410051/a-year-later-one-junior-seau-close-friends-comes-forward-recount-version-descent
  8. He's not lying though. Look at Seau. He killed himself because he couldn't adjust to life after the game. I'm sure a lot of the things he talks about are legit struggles many of these athletes go through. Others have talked about the physical toll the game takes on your body, addictions to prescription drugs, money problems, and numerous other situations. It's something I think about often because my youngest son says this is what he wants to do, play football. He's extremely good at it and loves to hit people. From the beginning, starting at 8 years old, it's like a switch flips when he puts the pads on and buckles that chin strap. I'm not saying I know for certain he will make it to the NFL, but when you look at the bigger picture the question I ask myself is whether I really want him to or not.
  9. No team is giving up two #1's for Carr. 1st and a 3rd? Maybe. Chicago possibly, Washington, or maybe Indy. This isn't a move LV makes unless they have the Watson deal already in place.
  10. I'd rather re-sign McKenzie and let someone else draft him.
  11. Correct, they can't really. There are already stories out about how the locker room was divided with many of them wanting Fitz to play full time.
  12. In all honesty, he reminds me of Dante Hall
  13. Behind every great man is a good woman
  14. Thankfully he didn't get another color commentary gig. That was brutal to listen to.
  15. Pete Werner would look good in a Bills uni, don't you think Yolo?
  16. Because if you ever watched Pennington play you would know he made up for his lack of arm strength with his ability to read a defense then get the ball out with timing. He did complete 66% of his passes for his career despite having a noodle arm, especially after the shoulder surgeries. Cam has relied on his legs most of his career and you could tell that the mental aspect was giving him some trouble in NE. His shoulder injury has changed his abilities. When your body starts breaking down then it is your wits that carry you on. I have never seen Cam be one to dissect a defense.
  17. Cam is washed up. His arm looks done. Imo he has become Chad Pennington without the brains.
  18. I think Stafford in that McVey offense is going to have a rebirth of sorts. He has some excellent weapons at his disposal, possibly his best ever from top to bottom. About him spurning the Pats? Couldn't happen to a better organization.
  19. Singletary is on a rookie deal. Although I have mentioned Felton in previous posts and think he would be an excellent fit in the offense, Singletary is not a guy you cut for cap savings when he has talent and is on a rookie contract.
