Things could get messy in GB--- Rodgers wants a new contract
H2o replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe this is Rodgers way of forcing their hand. They traded up to draft Love in the 1st. Are they really going to just let him sit for 4 or 5 years without knowing what they have? They surely won't get an even swap in compensation for him, Love that is. I think this is Rodgers' way of getting an "out" in the situation. -

If he wants to win then it's the wrong year to do it with the league wide cap situation. If he is focused on what he wants then he will do it anyway. I'd imagine they already talked money in some form or fashion when they traded for him in the first place. Diggs will get his, but I believe it comes in 2022.

Please see the below post from Gunner. You're a buffoon if you think our schedule was weak.

Winning 15 games behind a rising superstar QB and making it the furthest we have in the Playoffs in the last 27 years.

How about an OL that gives him more than 1.5 seconds after 80% of the snaps before he has to run for his life, in the biggest game of his young career, after leading them to a division title with a 13-3 record for the first time in 25 years, while also leading a team to their furthest advancement in the playoffs in 27 years.

A team that feels they are a QB away from a SB, like say SF or Indy.

Buffalo Bills Offseason Primer. State of the Bills.

I know all of these FA's have "Market Value" listed for them, but I think we see a different market this year with the cap not getting its usual bump. It has really put many teams in a bind leaving them with some hard decisions to make. I also believe that there will be many qualities players thrust onto the market because of it as well. I think you will see a lot of short term deals this offseason for players who are hoping for some sense of a return to normalcy in the FA market in 2022. I also believe those deals will generally come in lower than their assessed value per tools such as Spotrac. -

The cap hit is right at $10.163M and the dead cap is $4M for 2021. -

He deducted the dead cap for 2021 off of the cap hit, hence the $6.1M freed up -

We should have gone for it in that instance and when we had 12. If we convert those into TD's a lot of other decisions would have been different.

Tough L. A rivalry is now born though. I watched throughout this game our players grow to hate the Chiefs.
