  1. Don't get me wrong, I love having a defense that goes out there and smacks people in the mouth. I think we still have that, but are working our way back into sync after the strange offseason. 🤞🤞 We will need it come playoff time. To have this offense now? With the acquisition of Diggs and how things are clicking? If Josh keeps rolling like this through the regular season? No one, and I MEAN NO ONE, will want to see us in the post season.
  2. Truthfully, this is what a lot of posters have been begging for and for years now. They've wanted a gun-slinger franchise QB and an upper echelon passing attack offense . Give us a guy who can go out and win games with his arm. A guy who we know can, and more than likely will, be able to drive the team down the field on a last second game winning drive in a shootout. Josh is all of these things and the pieces they have put around him have made us THAT offense. It's a wonderful time to be a Bills fan considering all we have endured over the last 20 years.
  3. The moment Diggs said, "I wish I had a QB like that" and 2 years later here we are
  4. I don't know if Quinn and Gase make it through the entire year. Marrone was a dead man walking last year and somehow pulled a rabbit out of the hat. I think Fangio gets at least one more because of all the injuries to key players on both sides of the ball. Patricia should definitely be out unless they somehow make the playoffs(not happening). Lynn's team has been competitive with a rookie starting at QB. I think he gets another crack at it in 2021. If they don't fire BOB, he must have pictures of the owner laid up naked with a goat. Zimmer will make it another year, but I don't know about Kubiak. McCarthy will make it as well, but Nolan will be kicking rocks. Only way Rivera is not back is if his health deteriorates, but his prognosis was good initially.
  5. Well, the Jets fans want him https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/154824-chris-johnson-please-hire-brian-daboll/
  6. Truthfully Hap, Darnold is the same player right now that I saw at USC his Junior(RS Sophomore) year. He hasn't changed one bit. He'll make some flashy plays and then some "how in the hell did he miss that one" plays. That year was where you saw how he truly operated under any kind of pressure. His first year as the starter had him sitting in a clean pocket for 5 seconds or more. That 2nd year he had to be quicker with his reads and his release. His completion percentage dropped a few points and his turnovers almost doubled. He rattles under pressure. He always has. Though the Jets have done him no favors with coaching, or with the personnel around him, that's who he has always been on the field. He's clearly got talent, but the rest has always been there as well.
  7. PFF in the discussion room prior to releasing their "grades"
  8. Gase would have ruined Allen too. Everything he touches or coaches turns to 💩.
  9. Good for Teller. Glad he is finding some success. Always happy to see a VA kid make it.
  10. Those different angles he's throwing from, and ACCURATELY, are a thing of beauty. The one to Beasley was outstanding. Josh is legit.
  11. Prior to this game we got gashed the last two weeks by lesser RB's than Josh Jacobs. RB's like Brieda(MIA), Myles Gaskin(MIA), and Darrell Henderson(LAR) made us look like a JV squad out there. Yesterday the Raiders' rushing attack had 23 carries for 86 yards in total for a 3.7 ypc clip. Jacobs himself had 15 carries for 48 yards at a 3.2 ypc average. It was a quality outing against one of the better RB's in the league. It was nice to see considering we were coming off of giving up almost 170 yards to the Rams on a 5.2 ypc average and 100 yards to the Dolphins on a 4.5 ypc average.
  12. Klein is visibly slower than any other person on the field outside of the DL and even some of those guys look faster. He's a liability at this point. Playing Dodson is the right move.
  13. I wonder if the OP has kids? I have 13 and 14 year old boys. They play a video games online with their friends all of the time. Sometimes I happen to walk upstairs to talk to them about something while they are playing video games with their friends and catch them in the middle of moments talking smack or raging so to speak. Sooooo, yeah, they're definitely my kids.
  14. 1. Mahomes 2. Wilson 3. Rodgers 4. Jackson 5. Watson 6. Allen This is what I see right now. Just my 2. If Allen's play keeps up, as well as everyone else's, then he could be #4 by year's end.
  15. Who cares? I wonder what his mama thinks about her boy taking that L yesterday facing a team with a legitimate MVP candidate @ QB?
  16. And that's what I was getting at with the statement that Allen is more of a "leader of men" type than Carr is.
  17. If he keeps it up through this whole season then I would expect something to get done early next year. Technically we still have him under contract for two more years after this season being they will certainly pick up the 5th year option. The figures will be astronomical is he keeps it up at this rate and gets a taste of some playoff success as well.
  18. Absolutely. They are missing a starting CB, DT, and LB.
  19. Yes, Allen took a bad loss on that one play. Prior to that he had actually thrown the ball away 4 times to avoid a loss. The Houston game? Really? Is that even relevant at this point with what we've seen from Allen this year so far? Carr is alright and he had some hella nice throws yesterday, but I'm taking Allen 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. Allen has a clutch gene in him you just can't teach, a trait that Carr does not possess. Allen is also more of a "leader of men" person than Carr is. At the end of the day, one team is 4-0 and their QB is a legitimate MVP candidate. The other is 2-2 and their QB is not.
  20. He's playing really, REALLY well at LG right now. Once we get Feliciano back @ RG this OL is going to be even better. It's amazing what Beane has done with this team in his short time here.
  21. Allen is on a Mahomes type of trajectory right now. Once he stops taking those bad sacks for a loss from time to time, he's on that level. Yesterday he threw the ball away at least 3 or 4 times prior to that one gaffe and I was extremely happy with that.
  22. Because Daboll finally realized he was a complete QB
  23. Like anyone with half a brain knew they would. BOB is an idiot.
