  1. Weebles might wobble, but they don't fall down.
  2. That's fantastic, and truthfully he should have won it after the Seattle game as well.
  3. Good post Hap, but I will take the bait on a couple of them. On example 1, Bosa was only about 2 yards away and already closing. About the only way Josh gets the ball to Davis is one of those dangerous Rodgers-esque flips of the football. The play was busted once Bosa had a clear path. Go down and live to fight another play. On example 2, the defender already has beaten his man inside and Josh is a half second away from getting nailed. If he chucks it up to Diggs off of his back foot, and it hangs in the air too long, then that CB possibly undercuts to make an INT. Then we're having the convo about Josh playing "Hero Ball" again. If Dawkins or whoever that is "helping" picks up that block then Josh is completing a bomb to Diggs on that play, possibly even for a TD if he leads Diggs properly towards the middle of the field. Example 3 is absolutely correct. Moss was the guy who should have gotten the ball. If the ball is thrown properly he's looking at 4 yards before first contact. And with Moss' propensity for lowering the boom on defenders I suspect he would end up with even more yardage after first contact. Things like this overall just show us how much better Josh can be. It's a scary thought for the rest of the NFL because his completion percentage is already up 10% from last year and he's basically matched his entire TD totals from 2019 in just 11 games, and UNDOUBTEDLY against harder competition. It's a great time to be a Bills fan.
  4. The Steelers defense is still legit. I don't expect our game against them to be a cakewalk. They also have some viable weapons in the receiving group with Smith-Schuster, Johnson, Claypool, and Ebron. The key will be to harass Ben who looks like he is 50 years old back there in the pocket. They will also have Connor and Tuitt back when they play us. Connor has abilities similar to Austin Ekeler. After seeing how Bosa wrecked us last week, I also worry about us being able to handle TJ Watt. The Steelers are also a dirty bunch, especially Cam Hayward imo. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to go at Josh. The game as a whole makes me nervous. I want the W no doubt, but more so that we are just as healthy coming out of it as we are going into it.
  5. Good ole Ray-Ray aiding the Ravens cause I see
  6. If we are as healthy as possible, and peaking at the right time on both sides of the ball, then we have a LEGITIMATE shot this year. The defense has started to come around. John Brown should be back just in time for the Playoffs. If Milano and Dodson can be healthy for the remainder of the season, if the running game can continue it's current trajectory, and if the OL can remain healthy while building continuity? There is no reason to believe we cannot hang with anyone in this league.
  7. I don't believe so. Josh is the type of guy who works harder to get better and build upon what he is already doing right. For as much as Daboll has helped Josh, Josh's work ethic has helped him the most. I also believe that if Daboll leaves we will fill the position in house with Ken Dorsey, who has been here for the last two years.
  8. I don't think Brady fit the Arians' mold of a QB even from the beginning, but he sure would sell a lot of tickets (oops!!!) and merchandise. They both have an ego big enough for an entire locker room. They were bound to butt heads imo. The thought that Brady would have the greatest supporting weapons he's had in ages though made that an afterthought. Tom is still trying to go about things "The Patriot Way" and Arians mantra is his way or the highway. We'll see how it plays out over the next 14 months or so.
  9. So are we firing Beane or not? It's hard to figure it out reading the posts around here.
  10. Bought a Josh Allen jersey in May of 2019. I remember checking in players for one of our youth league football games and some of the other people from the league had jokes because I was wearing it. He who laughs last, laughs best. Wish I would have gotten to see them all again this year, but the season was cancelled. Stupid Rona.
  11. With all of these openings, if Saleh and Bienemy aren't HC's next year at this time then something is wrong.
  12. So....... You wrote this 7 months ago and just randomly come to post this on here now?
  13. Glad we kept Klein and didn't end up with a few hostess, a Rold Gold, and a Ball Park.
  14. Or he plagiarized the entire thing
  15. Wentz has regressed more than any other QB I can remember. He has no anticipation, no pocket presence, and is all over the place with his passes these days.
  16. RGIII is starting for the Ravens. You know how this is going to end.
  17. Yep, bad QB contracts with Wentz and Ryan make it impossible to release them as well because of the dead cap associated with them. This year is it for NO. All their chips are in to win the SB. The run is over after that. They will basically have to blow it up to make the $$$ work. The Rams, Steelers, Packers, Texans, and even the Chiefs will have some tough decisions to make.
  18. Absolutely. Just look at the teams listed from 23, down. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/2021/
  19. I believe the thinking is that even if we win the division we aren't expected to hang with the Titans, Steelers, and Chiefs of the world. We play the Steelers in a couple of weeks so that narrative might change, but as of now we are not viewed at that level.
  20. This was my thought. Ever since coming into the NFL he has had quite the laundry list of soft tissue injuries. Playing for a new contract I believe he took the chance of hoping he would be able to mask it somehow for the year.
  21. Brady has the best weapons he's had at his disposal since 2007, if not ever. The fact of the matter is Father Time is starting to catch up with Tom. You could see it last night on some of his throws. Arians' offense is also not the typical dink-and-dunk style he's used to. There's no James White in the backfield, no Edelman or Welker in the slot, and the TE's aren't used the same. It's a whole new ball game. We are watching the waning moments of a HOF career and I hope it ends as bitterly miserable for the guy as possible.
  22. McDermott is a better coach than he was in 2017. He has some really good coordinators around him as well. Andy Reid is a HOF coach. Sean Payton is likely a HOF coach. Belicheat is a HOF coach. Tomlin is a HOF coach. Vrabel is alright, but the jury is still out on him. He's also quite an arrogant son of a biscuit. Shanahan has had his hands in teams coughing up leads in two SB's, one the biggest debacle of all time in SB history. I like the guys we have and hope they stay together for at least two more years to see this thing through. We WILL be bringing a Lombardi home to Buffalo if that happens within that time.
