Ok This Dolphins talk is getting out of hand.
H2o replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is what the national media has done for years. We are always doubted until we prove everyone wrong and that's just how it's gonna be. Yes, we've made the playoffs two of the last three years. Yes, we have the best FO and coaching staff from top to bottom that we've had since the mid 90's. Yes, we have seemingly found our long awaited franchise QB. But because of all of the previous narratives, you will continue to see stories like this until we win the division and have some resemblance of post season success. W's will shut them up. -
The Titans game was bad. Andre Roberts started it off with the ball that popped off of his chest right into the defender's hands.

Most wins against teams with a winning record

Haven't you read on here this isn't a good football team? We're going like 1-7 the rest of the way. -
He's had multiple ugly games this year throwing the football, but he makes up for it with those busted play 3 yard TD passes that pad his stats. Outside of the Cleveland game in week one where he threw for 275yds, his best game has been a 208yd passing performance. Against the Chiefs he average 3.5 YPA and against the Redskins 4.9 YPA. His team is making up for his deficiencies right now and that's fine. But like others have noted, it isn't conducive for playoff success especially if they get down by two or three scores.

How many 2020 roster rules will stick with the NFL?
H2o replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like all of the things implemented this season and hope they can all stick. The expanded PS is nice to have, as well as the eligibility even with more years in the league. The short term IR fits right in with that because you can bring one of your PS guys up who have an idea of what's going on versus going after street FA's also. -
Bills Face 49ers week in 5 weeks, Will be No Kittle or Jimmy G.

Doesn't matter. Footstradamus already called this one an L for us. -
https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/3916387/lamar-jackson Not according to this. Looks like he has regressed a bit from last year's form. I live in VA and we always get the Baltimore games. I've watched him 3 or 4 times this year already. He still can't hit a throw outside the hashes with any consistency, has trouble when forced to hang in the pocket, and his deep ball this year is not there. Where he hurts you is when the play breaks down and his TE's or WR's are running with him to find some space. He's excellent at finding the perfect dumpoff receiver while scrambling.

Are our WRs not getting separation? Or is it Allen?
H2o replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They can, but they don't draw LB's in coverage like a TE does. -

1. Check 2. ..... If only Knox spent his every waking hour with a Jugs machine. -

I remember at least 5 or 6 occasions from yesterday where even the commentators mentioned BB had put 7 DB's on the field. No one is really going to be able to pass in that. Thankfully the running game stepped up yesterday. -
Don't worry, his alter ego High Football IQ will be in here to reaffirm his Footstradamus predictions here shortly.

NFL Trade Deadline Primer update on page 15
H2o replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
King and Hayden would be rentals. Both of them are on expiring contracts. Hayden is a bit long in the tooth and King is going to want to get his $$$. Mercilus comes with a hefty price tag, $10,000,000 to $13,000,000+ per season over the next 3 years, and he's already 30. Adkins is 32 and comes with a hefty price tag as well. For a team with only $4,000,000 in cap room I don't really see us making those moves. The Giants have been talking up Engram and I'm not sure if they will let him go. He has his 5th year option at just over $6,000,000 left out there after this season, due to be a UFA in 2022. -
Miami is not winning the division
H2o replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Miami may be right there with us next year, but this year the division is ours as long as we win the games we should win. Looking at there schedule I can see them going possibly 4-5 the rest of the way, at ABSOLUTE best they will go 5-4. They are already 1-2 in the division while we are 4-0 as well. That means that we would have to finish out 2-6 the rest of the way and lose both of our remaining division games for them to win the East in week 17. It's not happening. -
Lamar hasn't been the same Lamar as last season, but he's still a quality starter in a perfect situation for himself and that organization. In his defense, no one has really looked good against that Steelers defense this year.

I really hope Mitch Morse retires.

I think he tries to get through this season and has a serious discussion with his doctors and family about this very thing. Whatever he chooses, I don't have any ill will towards him whatsoever. -

We outscored the Pats in the first half and the 2nd half. W. 6-2.
-
Idc what any of the naysayers are talking about. This game was a HUGE win against a division rival that has owned us for 20 years. It gets us not only to 6-2, but we maintain our division lead while basically burying the Pats down on the W-L column.

Gameday Thread Week 8 2nd Half Bills vs Pats*

6-2 -
Stop the run, put a spy on Cam for the entire game, and make Newton beat you with his arm. He's down Edelman and Harry so I like our chances today. Josh just needs to take what the defense gives him and we need to protect the football on offense. Today is a big test for Bass today as well with the weather. Not a perfect game, but a 27-13 win for the Bills.
