NFL TV Schedule and Maps: Week 11, 2020
H2o replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow...... what a slate here in VA on Sunday. The Football Team vs Bengals Philly vs Cleveland Dallas vs Minnesota -
The offense has improved since they seemingly found something with Damien Harris at RB. They have been leaning on the run heavily since that game against us. As long as they are successful with that they will be in almost every game. It bleeds the clock and at this point they are making the most of their scoring opportunities. The real difference for them is the QB play. Cam is not the Cam of 4 years ago and he surely isn't a QB who dissects opposing defenses like Brady. They are a 7-9 type of team that will win enough games to keep them away from the two upper echelon QB's in this draft and that's fine by me.

It causes him to forfeit this year's salary, a whopping $24,000,000 in cash, but they are still responsible for $16,500,000 of his salary in 2022. The Mariners will pay $7,500,000 to make his total $24,000,000 in the final year of his deal.

No, he definitely wasn't the leader on any of those teams. I too didn't really mind so much when he left, but I thought he never looked right in another uniform. Felt the same way about Soriano. He was an all around solid player and put together a solid career. This does however taint his accomplishments.
-
Seriously? This is ridiculous. I hope the Steelers and Eagles find somewhere else to play outside of PA for the rest of the season.

Loved the guy when he was in a Yankees uniform. He just never looked right in anything else to me.

Anyone else concerned with run game being the “top priority”?
H2o replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We need to be able to run the ball effectively when we attempt to. There has to be a balance. Josh can sling it 40 times for 300+ every week, but at some point our running game has to produce more than 2 yds per carry. If we get that going it will just open things up even more.- 95 replies

Yeah, I definitely don't want to see him back up to 280lbs and losing the twitch we have seen on the field, but I do believe that an offseason in the strength and conditioning program will go a long way with his functional strength. This offseason was just completely jacked, especially for the rookies just coming into the league.
-
Yes, but that is a completely different position. A talented RB can make it from anywhere. He's compact, runs strong, has decent agility, hits the lane quickly when it opens up, and has a good enough burst once he gets in the open field to break off some chunk yardage. That's one thing I like about Hubbard more than him is when Chuba gets in the open field he is leaving everyone else in the dust. Patterson doesn't have that kind of long speed. He, Patterson, reminds me of Austin Ekeler. The two things I don't really know much about are his receiving ability and how well he picks up his blocking assignments.
-
This was my thought as well. I believe he ends up in SF next year and plays at a more consistent level under Shanahan. I think they send Jimmy G packing and he ends up back in NE with Belicheat/McDaniels.
-
I wouldn't say he was dominant, but he did have 4 really good years in a Bills uni. I could see Epenesa having a similar career. I think a full offseason in an NFL strength and conditioning program will benefit him a lot. He looks to have dropped about 20lbs since his time at Iowa and I believe that weight loss has affected his playing strength.

Ok This Dolphins talk is getting out of hand.

Miami beat one team we lost against, which we should have beaten, in Arizona. Their three losses are against two teams we have beaten and against us. They are in a weak part of their schedule and should run off another 3 victories, should being the key word. Then comes their gauntlet last 4 weeks of the season. KC, NE, LV, and then us week 17. I expect we will already have the division locked up by week 17. 11-5, first division title in 25 years, and a home playoff game for the Bills. -

Jerry Hughes Do U Bring Him Back or Let Him Walk ?
H2o replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hughes is signed through next season with an under $10,000,000 cap hit. He has played well and is arguably the leader of the defense. You keep him and revisit this next year at some point. -
Patriots purposely left JC Jackson off of Pro Bowl ballot?
H2o replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A dirty little trick by Belicheat. Trying to keep his name from the mainstream as to keep the price lower and him in as much relative anonymity as possible. I hope this costs them in the long run, more ways than one. It couldn't happen to a better organization. -
See, exactly what I was talking about. The gf said nope, here's the Gillette.
-
I'm thinking more along the lines of he has a week at home with the gf and she was like, "Nah bruh, you need to get that Muppet off of your face."

Pick 2 teams to disappear from NFL without anyone noticing
H2o replied to Mr. WEO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep, they should disappear from LA then reappear in St. Louis and San Diego.
