  1. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/11/23/report-mri-shows-joe-burrows-knee-injury-is-even-worse-than-believed/ This is eerily reminiscent of Carson Palmer's injury.
  2. If it's not working, sign more players https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/11/23/report-pierre-desir-is-expected-to-sign-with-ravens/
  3. And for the Chargers game the Bills will be wearing.............
  4. Who knows what Love will be, if anything at all? But if you are trying to win now, you give Rodgers the best collection of overall weapons you possibly can. They could have had Claypool late in the 1st or at least 5 others after who would have been upgrades to their roster. Even a speedster like Duvernay would have been huge for Rodgers in that offense.
  5. I'd love to keep Williams, but his asking price may be out of our range. I think we keep Feliciano and plug him in at guard. Ideally I would like to see us get Landon Dickerson from Alabama or Josh Myers from Ohio St. in the 2nd Round to play Center next year, Dickerson being my preference. I really hope Morse hangs up the cleats for the sake of his long term health. As for RT if Williams gets more money elsewhere? I wouldn't mind spending a 3rd on a guy like Stone Forsythe from Florida who is a solid player and seems like his best position in the NFL will be RT imo.
  6. The Packers knew of their deficiencies at WR and in the DEEPEST class of WR talent the NFL has ever seen (regarded as such) they took not a single one. Can you imagine Claypool in GB right now playing alongside of Adams and Valdez-Scantling with Aaron Rodgers slinging the ball? Or Reagor, or Tee Higgins, or Pittman, or even Gabe Davis. No, they took a QB. I can understand Packers fans' frustration, as well as Rodgers, but he's still out there making the most of what they have.
  7. Knox currently working with the jugs machine
  8. With the Browns, we would basically have to sell out against stopping the run for 60 minutes and make Baker Mayfield beat us. Chubb is a monster and Kareem Hunt, a former All Pro, is the next man up. With our performance against some of the lesser RB's we have seen I believe it's still a tough matchup. We definitely need Milano healthy for the playoffs.
  9. Top Tier: Kansas City Chiefs MAYBE the New Orleans Saints (with the way their defense is starting to play) After that there are just A LOT of really good football teams this year, especially in the AFC. I don't put Pittsburgh in the top tier, but they are right there on the cusp at the moment. I really do believe the playoffs are wide open at this point in time. Any one of these teams could knock off an opponent on the road. The Chiefs have that winning experience on their side, as well as an insanely talented offense, which is always a plus. But even last night we saw the Raiders keep up with them for the entire 60 minutes.
  10. The misery will continue as long as Gase remains. At this point I believe they are keeping him for the sheer purpose of securing the #1 pick alone. That team is as devoid of talent as any I have ever seen in my 43 years of existence. They have like 5 players in total on that entire roster that are worth keeping.
  11. I think we will see a blitz heavy scheme against the Chargers this week, similar to the schemes we saw against Seattle. I think they are going to come at Herbert all day long and show a ton of different alignments pre-snap to confuse him. Kennan Allen has emerged as an elite WR in this league now that he has a QB who can get him the ball. Mike Williams hasn't been bad this year either, but they don't have an real burners to speak of. Expect a lot of Nickel base, crowding the LOS, and at least 5 guys coming after Herbert the entire game. If we rattle the rookie early and get a couple of turnovers then this will be a blowout. If he has time to throw the ball and is on his game then this will be too close for comfort.
  12. I think they go back to Fitz next week. Tua had one good game. Other than that he's been sub par. Fitz gives them the best chance to win if that's what they're trying to do.
  13. Rodgers doing Rodgers things
  14. It's a loss to an NFC team so it doesn't matter anyway.
  15. This Indy/GB game is a flag fest. Indy just had like 8 penalties on one drive.
  16. Glad to see the Dolphins take that L. Maybe now the "Dolphins talk" will calm down too.
  17. Wonder if the Tua is the 2nd coming talk continues this week?
  18. Immediately McGahee back in the Miami days came to mind
  19. Good to see NE take another L
  20. Nah, I don't see that happening. He and Frazier both are 4-3, Zone Coverage base guys who mix in variations.
  21. Oh, yeah, I honestly don't believe he will be the answer. They did hand him a nice chunk of change for a gadget guy. Might well see if he can sling it with any consistency as well. I'm also pretty sure Payton saw the 30TD/30INT version of Winston in practice and was like, "Yeah, the clipboard suits you."
  22. https://www.google.com/amp/s/247sports.com/Article/New-Orleans-Saints-head-coach-Sean-Payton-is-confident-in-Taysom-Hills-chances-to-become-Drew-Brees-successor--147098403/Amp/ Like I said, this is likely more Payton wanting to see what Hill can do if given the reigns.
  23. I think this decision is based more on Payton wanting to see what they have in Taysom Hill. Brees is on his last leg. They need to see if he is the foreseeable future or if they are going to need to address the position. Winston will only play if Hill doesn't rise to the occasion.
  24. Maybe Ed Oliver can let him borrow a horse for the remainder of the season?
