This is useless. As long as Tedy Bruschi picks the Ravens we're good. -
This could weaken the Titans further who lost Dean Pees as DC last year. Couldn't happen to a better guy in Vrabel.

Compensation for Losing a Minority Coach or Executive

In that case Mark Sanchez is the obvious choice as replacement for Daboll at OC. -
I mean, it does make sense. We don't really have a running game that's going to scare anyone. They will likely key on Josh every time we run a Read Option unless Singletary or Yeldon can gash them a couple of times causing them to do otherwise. That worries me for two reasons. I don't want Josh getting injured and the Ravens are ALWAYS trying to rip at the football. Even their DB's are among the best in the league at this. The one thing you can't really game plan for if you are Baltimore is Josh and his improv runs. He can see an opening then it's boom, off for 10-20 yards. They can try to spy him, but he's faster than people think and he's hard to get on the ground in a one on one situation (hey, Kyle Van Noy ). I also think we need to use their aggressiveness against them with some quick hitting plays that give our guys the chance to go get some YAC. If we can do this early, get a couple of chunk runs from our RB's and get some quick hitters that go for some nice YAC, then their defense is going to have a hard time dealing with all of the weapons we have on the field at any given time. Josh will be able to pick them apart like he did against SF, Seattle, game 2 against NE, and Miami.

Why is Allen's improvement linked to Daboll?
H2o replied to Back2Buff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Schematically, outside of the occasional head scratching play call or series, Daboll has dialed up a game plan for Josh to be in the right situation for success. He's a very good play caller for the most part who uses a lot of different formations and pre snap motions to give Josh the ability to diagnose a defensive alignment before the ball gets snapped. This is how Daboll, with his creativity, has contributed to Josh's development on the field. He's also the guy who has been continually in Josh's ear for the last 3 years now going over every detail of the game with him. Continuity cannot be downplayed here. It's been huge this early in Josh's career. It's also at the point now where I believe that Josh can be successful if we are forced to make an OC change. This is because of his growth as a QB. The game is slowing down for him and he is understanding what he sees across the LOS on the other side before the ball is snapped. Daboll has a direct link to that. Now the work that Josh puts in during the offseason, where he is out there with Jordan Palmer working on any and every possible flaw he has in his game, you see the results from that as well. Daboll is not the sole reason for Josh's development, but he has had a huge part in it. -
The ravens first offensive play from scrimmage will be...

Edmunds shoots the gap and hammers Lamar on a QB sweep to the left side of the formation for a 2 yard loss. -
You can tell Nick is starting to get nervous about being "Pinto Ron'd"

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/san-francisco-49ers/# Don't be surprised if he gets 4 or 5 of his defensive players to follow him to NY in FA. My guesses are Sherman, Dion Jordan, Solomon Thomas, and K'Waun Williams follow him there.

I think Todd Haley is available.

Key to beating the Ravens- beating the blitz
H2o replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hopefully Daboll has some things cooked up with Beasley, McKenzie, and Brown that exploits their aggressiveness. Quick hitches, slants, outs, crossers, WR screens, plays where we get the football out to our shifty guys and let them get some YAC. Diggs is gonna be Diggs and get his, but the other guys will have to step up this game as well. Yes, Humphrey and Peters are good players, but this is why we need to exploit those 3rd and 4th matchups throughout the game. Knox also needs to exploit the seams and make sure he catches every ball that hits his hands. Honestly, I like how our offense matches up with their defense. Josh missed some throws last year against them that he's been consistently hitting this year. I'm expecting some fireworks from our offense on Saturday night. -
The Lamar Jackson effect, will it make a difference?

The Lamar Jackson effect, will it make a difference?
H2o replied to Billzgobowlin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been saying this since Cleveland won Sunday night, that this week would be a complete Lamar slobfest leading up to the game. All over the place everyone is talking about the Ravens are the most dangerous team in the playoffs, the vaunted defense they have, Lamar is basically unstoppable, blah, blah, blah. PFT, Undisputed, First Take, First Things First, GMFB, all of them quick to jump the Ravens hype train. I could go pull YouTube videos from all of them right now drooling over Jackson and the vast majority of them slighting Allen BECAUSE OF ONE PLAY. They talk about Lamar's 179 passing with one INT and 136 rushing with 1 TD like it is greater than Allen who completed 74% of his passes for 324 with 2 TD's, NO PICKS, and another 54 rushing with a TD. Josh accounted for more yards, more total TD's, and against a better defense WITH NO TURNOVERS. They all keep talking about the one play he didn't go down. "Same old Josh Allen", "He could have lost the game", "The Bills were totally outplayed", "His mistakes are going to cost them against Baltimore", blah, blah, blah. Josh carried us against the most complete team in the playoffs last week, got the W, and here we stand with another home game Saturday night looking for a berth in the AFC Title game. Like I have said in other threads, I hope our guys show up on that field Saturday night TOTALLY pissed off and take it out on Baltimore. -
Kind of like Saban

Don't watch GMF this morning.......it'll frustrate you!

This is good. I want our guys to feel slighted going into Saturday night's matchup. I want a pissed off Bills squad that plays with a chip on their shoulder for 60 minutes. This team can beat any other in the NFL no matter the weather, no matter the venue. And our guys are accustomed to this weather and our venue is The Ralph.- 119 replies

I'm just here to say I can't figure out how on God's green earth someone broke a story before Yolo. It's mathematically, scientifically, and pretty much physically impossible.
