It's possible, but it's also the preseason where many of a team's starting unit isn't on the field. I put yesterday's performance more on Trubisky. You know he was hype and super dialed in all week long for his shot at Chicago. He went out and executed. Mitch was not a "garbage QB" in his time there. Two trips to the playoffs and was a double-doink away from leading a comeback victory against the defending SB champs. He just didn't match up the return with what they shelled out for him. Then combine that with how they passed on some other QB's they shouldn't have to take him, Nagy/Pace doing whatever they possibly can trying to save their jobs, and here we are.

The one that concerns me the most is Harry. He's looked good when on the field and we need him this year. The previously torn ACL makes me nervous until we get an actual report from the team.

Except for Josh, is Trubisky best QB since Bledsoe?

I hope Trubisky doesn't have to play meaningful snaps this year because that means Josh is hurt. But if for some reason he does, then we can have to Frank Reich comparisons as to whom was the better backup. Right now that's all Trubisky is, is a backup. -
[Name Only Title] Tyler Matakevich

He's solid depth and showed decent in the games he got defensive snaps last year. He's not on Edmunds level though. He's a player with quite a bit of experience seeing a lot of snaps in the preseason, against lesser competition than he would face during the regular season. Glad to have him, but he's nothing spectacular. -
Josh "Thug Life" Allen: Y'all boys ain't ready for this sh*t right here. We about to light yo defense up like Chicago 4th of July weekend. I'ma buss a cap in every one a y'all we face. My arm out chea slingin bullets. F*** all y'all. I'm out.

Oh yeah, I know. No surprise at all. My hatred for him began while he was wearing a Jets uni though. -

My disdain for the Jets does not extend to individuals, except for Henry Anderson. **** that guy. Sad news for Lawson though. Hoping for a full and speedy recovery. -

Yikes, hope it's not a heat stroke. We all remember Korey Stringer with the Vikings some years ago. I know it's been pretty hot and humid as heck here across the mid-Atlantic for a couple of weeks now. -

Yep, sucks to be a Jets fan. From all the reports I had seen, Lawson was having a REALLY strong TC for them. -
I would say this is a game that gives Mitch a chance to say, "***k all of you," so we'll see if he makes the most of the opportunity. I'd expect Dabs to turn him loose for a hell of a lot more than two passes this week as well.

Bills fans........average? Au contraire mon frere, Bills fans are the greatest fans on the face of the earth. Nothing average about them. All of the ones I have met here in VA are definitely more dialed in than other team's fans as a group imo. Hell, half of the other teams' fans I know around here just buy a jersey so they can get drunk at the local Buffalo Wild Wings and throw their hands up in the air or talk **** if their "team" actually does something. Most of the Bills fans I know also seem to have a broader knowledge of all the NFL teams, even more so than some of those other teams' fans. It's like we have a greater love for the game in general. Idk, that's just me and the way I see it.

And Miami just set the precedent for such idiotic moves by caving to Xavien Howard. -
I understand they may want some form of recompense for what happened to them. I, personally, hope he faces criminal charges and jail time if these accusations are true. We know what would happen to the average person if they were guilty of these same accusations. What I am saying though is some may have hopped on just because they see it as an opportunity and only for that opportunity, not because they are necessarily looking for any form of justice for those with legitimate claims.

N'Keal Harry's being misused. Didn't you see his agent's statement about how unstoppable he was in college and that's why they wanted a trade? -

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/08/17/frank-clark-departs-practice-early-with-apparent-hamstring-injury/ Something he's apparently been battling for a couple of weeks, but pulling up lame in a one-on-one drill is not a good sign I would say. -

Urban just can’t quit Tebow! (Update - Cut by Jags)
H2o replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My thoughts as well, but there were some crying it was an injustice, he is "privileged", and all of that nonsense. Now that his former college coach dropped him during first cuts, which means he's really bad, now they can put away their soap boxes.
