  1. Outside of Tre, it has to be CB. Taron Johnson has a knack for making some plays in the slot, but we've seen him get dinged up and miss some time as well. I really thought Dane would step up and lock down the #2 CB spot, but it looks like Levi again. Our depth is not so great at the position either. Just my 2.
  2. You see that Stef?!?!? Massive bro gains
  3. What site are you all using? NFL, ESPN, Yahoo, CBS? Is it a PPR league (Point Per Reception)? What's the scoring breakdown for your QB's? That can change strategies a bit. I've been in some where it's more shifted to the other skill positions. The big names that come to mind which you hear on NFL broadcasts and TV shows are always a good place to start. Your first round pick needs to be a hit so the Derrick Henry's, Dalvin Cook's, Josh Allen's, Aaron Rodgers', Patrick Mahomes', of the world are where to look. Guys basically guaranteed to put up numbers every week. Do the same thing every round following. Once you get to the middle to late rounds you just have to have a bit of luck on your side. Watch the bye weeks as well. You don't want to have to take an L because there's a week where 3/4 of your team aren't playing.
  4. 2-4 in the AFCE, but still WIN the AFCE? Idiots. We may lose 5 games, but 4 of them won't be in our division. The toss-ups in my mind are as follows: Week 1 vs Pittsburgh - That first game is usually a mixed bag. Just hope we come out on top. Week 3 vs Washington - That WFT defense is legit. I want a W, but more so that Josh makes it out 100% healthy. Week 5 @ KC - They are the bullies that constantly steal our lunch money at this point. We need to get over this hump. Week 6 @ Tennessee - Something about them with Tannehill at the helm has been an enigma. ***Can you imagine the sports media and the implosion on this board if we started out 2-4 heading into the Bye Week?*** Week 16 @ NE - This game is where we may lose our 1st divisional game imo. Honestly I think we end up 13-4 or 14-3 barring injury to key players.
  5. The vaccine does not prevent you from getting Covid. To act like it's only the unvaccinated that can catch it, then miss games, is blatantly false. Here's a quote from an NBC News story and a link to said story. https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/provincetown-outbreak-reportedly-among-reasons-behind-cdc-reversing-mask-guidelines/2448568/ 74% of those who contracted Covid were fully vaccinated. The report says over 900 people were infected so that means at the least around 670 of that were people who had lined up for the shots. You will likely see fully vaccinated players missing games at some point this year as well and they could also be the starting point of outbreaks within teams.
  6. Just as sands in the hourglass, these are the "Days Of Our Vaccine"
  7. But, but, I thought we were supposed to be cutting Basham and trying to sneak him through waivers onto the PS?
  8. I know it's unbillievable, amirite?
  9. I understand this and it's hard to argue. One thing I will point out though is a majority of those deep passes are going to Tyreke Hill who adjusts his route to the ball in the air as good as, if not better than, any WR in the NFL imo. Mahomes doesn't have to be pinpoint every time because Hill either turns on an extra gear or cuts his route and runs to the ball faster than the man covering him can.
  10. Sucks for Etienne. I know he had numerous TSW fanboys. Looks like Lawrence's comfort level just took another shot.
  11. Yeah, you're right. Edge to the 90's OL. I think where I got accustomed to the putrid OL's we've seen it makes me see this one in a more favorable light.
  12. Elite QB? Check Elite WR? Check WR depth? Check RB's? 90's all day TE? Edge 90's OL? I think they're about even, outside of us not having a Kent Hull DL? We have no Bruce or Biscuit, but I like our group. Edge 90's LB's? Check CB's? Our CB depth on those 90's teams was better than ours now S's? I'd take Poyer and Hyde K? Absolutely check. Bass-o-matic ST? Hard to say If Rousseau does in the Regular Season what he's doing right now? Man, everything will look better. LB's, Secondary, it will open up more opportunities for TO's if QB's are having to rush throws. It will also force some sacks Hughes' way as well because of the pressure from the other side. Epenesa looks better. Hopefully Addison has a stronger campaign than last year. Oliver seems to be getting after it. We've all heard the reports about Star. We could really be there in the end hoisting the Lombardi. Right now I'd liken us to the Peyton Manning led Colts who had to get past the Patriots. The Chiefs are in that Patriots role now days. Still, this team feels different than those 90's teams. They are a closer knit group imo and I really feel like we will finally get it done, bring one home to Buffalo.
  13. Bobby Hart........ Safe again.
  14. Good luck to him elsewhere, but this is the lasting image I have in my mind whenever I think of Duke Williams. The drop in the Playoffs against the Texans just before halftime. And YES, it was definitely a drop. Put the video on play at .25 speed at around the 6:17 mark into the video and you'll see that Conley had absolutely nothing to do with Duke not coming down with that catch.
  15. I'd send Fromm to Atlanta for a new parka and a bag of Jack Link's Beef Jerky.
  16. What do you expect when these guys are running the show in Vegas?
  17. 👆 What I said on 4/30/21. I put a Justin Timberlake meme up right after, but I would hardly call myself a real "critic" of the Rousseau pick. I never bashed the guy.
  18. Got me. I read the first part and was like I hate you
  19. The JOK thing burns me up a bit, but I am also a known Notre Dame homer. I haven't been that high on an ND defensive player coming into the draft since Stephon Tuitt. I think he would have been outstanding in this defense playing LB, but I wasn't mad at us taking Basham. I think he will turn into at least the type of player Shaq Lawson was for us.
  20. McDermott is obviously the HC and leader of men on this team. He and Beane also have a great relationship and work well in tandem with one another. Daboll is a great OC to have in our stable, but the contingency is already in place for when he leaves with the added responsibility given to Dorsey. Dorsey will step right into the OC position when Daboll finally gets his shot. Also, at that point, Josh will have been in the same offense for at least 4 years. The mental mastery for the concepts we run will be there and he will be working hand in hand with the OC to coordinate what we see on the field. McDermott isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future.
