Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston
H2o replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMO SF is the best place for Watson if he wants to win now. Shanahan is one of the best offensive minds in the league and he'd be falling into a bunch of weapons with Kittle, Samuel, and Aiyuk. They also have a solid RB stable. Then you can throw in the top 5 defense they will have again when everyone comes back healthy. -

Wait until they trade Watt too. There will be a million fan march when they get rid of both Watson and JJ after trading Nuk last year. -

Here's another I did this morning on the PFN draft simulator. They have trades that are proposed automatically which is pretty cool. 30. Teven Jenkins OT Oklahoma State 61. Pete Werner LB Ohio State 102. Hunter Long TE Boston College 147. Daelin Hayes EDGE Notre Dame 152. Trevon Grimes WR Florida 160. Keith Taylor CB Washington 190. Tariq Thompson S San Diego State 201. The Chiefs Defense Used Four Big Safeties To Get To The Super Bowl

The only reason they could do this is because we don't have an effective running game. They don't have to respect it. They played to stop the pass, our three main guys were all hobbled to some extent, and it was a flawless move by Spagnuolo. Lets not forget that he was the DC for those Giants teams that stopped Tom Brady in two SB's. One of those was the #3 scoring offense of all time, calling a game that held them to 14 pts. He's an excellent DC. Always has been. We just need to be more balanced so that people have to account for everything and know that they can't stop us if they eliminate one aspect. -

How many times in a row will we have to play Tennessee in Tennessee? This will mark the 3rd year in a row we have been on their home schedule. -

Agreed, but there are many to try out. https://www.google.com/search?q=mock+draft+simulator&rlz=1C1GCEA_enUS903US903&oq=mock+&aqs=chrome.3.69i57j0i131i433l2j69i59j46i131i433j69i60l3.5238j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 -
This one was done on Fanspeak. They only have us with seven total draft picks when I believe we have eight. These things are fun to play around with to pass some time. 29: R1 P29 G Wyatt Davis - Ohio State 61: R2 P29 TE Pat Freiermuth - Penn State 92: R3 P28 LB Zaven Collins - Tulsa 158: R5 P17 EDGE Rashad Weaver - Pittsburgh 170: R5 P29 OT Brenden Jaimes - Nebraska 207: R6 P28 RB Demetric Felton - UCLA 230: R7 P8 WR Trevon Grimes - Florida

I'm rooting for the Bucs defense to beat down Kelce, Hill, Mahomes, Hardman, CEH, and anyone else KC puts on the field. I'm rooting for Jensen, the Bucs Center, to pancake Chris Jones on every play. I'm rooting for Tristan Wirfs to DDT Frank Clark. I'm rooting for the Bucs to win in general. Brady, no Brady, hell they could run Brad Johnson back out there for all I care.

If I were Houston, my strategy to rebuild

What, you don't think Watson's up for getting punched in the face then biting knee caps on the way back up? -
Best Decision/Unpopular Take...Don't Resign Allen Yet
H2o replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have a legit Franchise QB for the first time in 25 years. You re-sign that legit Franchise QB now before the market value increases even more. There is no need to stall. This is not a Ryan Fitzpatrick situation. Josh will be here for the next 10-15 years. He embodies everything that is Buffalo and the Buffalo Bills. -
This will be the norm for 2021. There will be A LOT of quality players on the market come FA because of teams scrambling to get under the cap. It will make for a lot of short term deals. According to this we are over $8M in the red. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/2021/

Was that our easiest playoff loss to take?

Easy, Barrett. A premier pass rusher makes the DB's you already have look better.

the missing link - an Alvin Kamara-type player

This kid intrigues me, but idk if he will declare -
I don't want Sherman or Carson really. Sherman is at the point where he is best served switching to S and Carson cannot stay healthy for the life of him. The only RB's I would want in FA are Aaron Jones (but he will cost too much), Kenyan Drake (may think higher of himself than what we should offer), or Jeff Wilson (an RFA whom I don't believe we would be willing to pony up the compensation for). I might also take a look at Boston Scott, but he is an RFA as well.

Things could get messy in GB--- Rodgers wants a new contract
H2o replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe this is Rodgers way of forcing their hand. They traded up to draft Love in the 1st. Are they really going to just let him sit for 4 or 5 years without knowing what they have? They surely won't get an even swap in compensation for him, Love that is. I think this is Rodgers' way of getting an "out" in the situation. -

If he wants to win then it's the wrong year to do it with the league wide cap situation. If he is focused on what he wants then he will do it anyway. I'd imagine they already talked money in some form or fashion when they traded for him in the first place. Diggs will get his, but I believe it comes in 2022.

Please see the below post from Gunner. You're a buffoon if you think our schedule was weak.
