I'd be good with Harris @ #30 if he's there. At 6'2" and 230lbs he can do it all and would be a true 3-down RB for this team.

I would like to have him back in the fold. He offers a lot with those trick plays, as a #4 WR, and in the return game. I think he could eventually take over for Beasley in the slot a couple years down the road.

I actually don't believe Elway is the best example to use. The 2011 Draft built that team and they lucked up getting Harris as a UDFA that year. That was his first year on the job so I don't actually know how much input he had considering he was only a little over 5 months in. I'm sure a major part of the scouting was already done. Either way, he did pull the trigger on those moves and it was one hell of a draft. He then made a couple of nice moves with Manning, Ware, and Talib. Many of his other decisions since have been craptastic and led to him being in the position he is now. Not because of his prowess, but because he's beloved within the organization and Denver's #1 son.

I understand what you are saying, but at what point do you draw the line in the sand? Does the organization need to seek out their approval at every turn or over every decision? This is where the problem lies imo. You give them an inch and they will take a mile. A player has the right to sign or refuse a contract. They can get to the end of one and, if they are a high enough caliber player, position themselves to go wherever they choose. Kirk Cousins did that, not that I think Kirk is anywhere near the level of player as the aforementioned. Both Watson and Wilson signed contracts for big $$$. Now they are frustrated with their respective organizations. There are GM's, scouts, coaches, and other personnel within an organization who are in charge of building the team you sign a contract to play for. I understand the wanting to have a say, but players are players, coaches are coaches, and FO is the FO. Yes they can speak their mind, but you can't cater to one person putting on the uniform for the sake of coddling. You start letting people veer out of their lanes or have people overstepping their bounds into other areas because that person feels they know best then it's almost a certain recipe for disaster. That's just my 2.

I agree. It's almost starting to feel NBA-esque to me as this has been going on in that league for years now. The problem is if you give an inch they take a mile and the players are starting to act as if they are the CEO instead of an employee.

Ice bowl, good to see you my friend. The Bills are a good team, but we have some tough decisions to make and a few things to address in the offseason. We need to sure up the lines and make it a priority to get our running game in order. We need a terror on the edge. Just one would make all of the difference in the world. A guy who is legit able to get us 12-16 sacks a season. We also need a true 1 Tech because Star isn't getting any younger, Harry hasn't returned to pre-injury form, and everyone else is really a 3 Tech who had to play out of position this year. On offense we could use a homerun threat at RB. A guy who can hit a crease or take a screen pass and be off to the races. We will need to replace Milano at WLB because he surely gets more $$$ on the open market than we will be willing to give him. The cap situation is going to be something to monitor because of where we stand. Beane is definitely going to have to work his magic this year. Your Packers are awfully close as always. They had a few bad decisions by the coaching staff, a few missed opportunities by Rodgers, and a few bad breaks that cost them the game. As long as you have Rodgers then you guys will be right there. It will be interesting to see what they do at RB with both Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams being FA's. I know you guys have Corey Dillon waiting in the wings, but he's not really much of a receiving option at this point. You guys could also use an upgrade across from Adams at WR. It ought to be an interesting offseason for all of us fans and our respective teams.

All of those guys are idiots and they will ride their narratives like a ship headed for the bottom of the Atlantic. It's in the same respect as to how they, ALL OF THEM, were tearing up over legit penalties being called on the Chiefs. Those were the same exact penalties which they were committing against the Bills without ANY of them being called. No one was making much about that when we were getting shafted by the zebras, were they? I've come to expect it and just laugh. The double standards are clearly evident for people with half a brain to recognize it.

The narrative is going to be that way because Mahomes is the new media darling who has already had some success, has all of the commercials, and just signed that half a billi contract. They weren't on TV talking about how he needed to get the ball out quicker like they do with Josh. They weren't talking about him playing "hero ball" like they would with Josh. They weren't talking about how the passes into coverage are dangerous or unnecessary like they would with Josh. No. It was the line isn't doing their job, the toe is hindering him majorly, Mahomes is doing everything he can to carry this team or make something happen, blah, blah, blah. It will be this way until Allen gets a ring. Even then it will probably continue on because that's what they (the media) do.

This would definitely be the year to have cap space. A lot of teams are going to have to make tough decisions to get under the number. The Saints especially. There will be a bunch of players on the market you wouldn't normally see due to this. It ought to be an interesting offseason for sure.

Yep, we have reached that lull until FA. Especially with no combine this year it will be weird. Then with FA you have a solid week or two of activity. After that the lull until the draft. After the draft it will be crickets until the last week of July for the most part.

I mean, we are a really good team. We beat some good teams this year during the regular season. We beat a couple of really good teams in the playoffs. We still need to work on both lines and LB is going to be a need on defense when Milano chases the $$$. We also need a dynamic RB who is a homerun threat. This team is not without flaws, but we are closer, much closer, to reaching our goal than we are far from it.

I'd offer him a deal somewhere in the $5M-$6M range on a 3 year deal with about $10M being guaranteed. Nothing more than that though.

Fournette had some really nice runs getting banged around, changing direction, and making something out of nothing at times. Jones is the more speedy option who would find a crease and slip through in a flash. That's what we need. A running back who can burst through the smallest of openings and either gash you for a quick 6-8yds or be off to the races.

He's not ranked super high on any of the draft boards you see, being slotted anywhere from 3rd-6th Round on all of the websites. If you watch the guy's highlight reel though it will make you wonder why the college production didn't live up to expectations. He has the size, the arm length, displays some insane power at times, has the bend/flexibility you like to see, instinctive in diagnosing plays, and he is a monster against the run. His best season came in 2019 with 48 tkls, 9 tfl, 2 FF, 2 FR, and 3 sacks. They predict him to run around a 4.8 40yd dash, but look at the clip at the 5:06 mark of the video. I just get the feeling this guy will be a better pro than college player watching him. He never put up big sack numbers in college, but that FSU defense (heck, the team as a whole) hasn't been anything to speak of since Jimbo Fisher left. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Bills uni next year if we could snag him in the middle rounds.

Thought the "Drake from State Farm" commercial was kind of funny. This year as a whole though, the entire SB experience from home was meh. From the pregame, to the commentary, to the commercials, to the halftime performance, all of it was nothing like years past. The only thing awesome was watching the Chiefs get mollywhopped for 60 minutes.
