At his age, with multiple leg fractures, and an already bad back I would expect this to be the end of the road for Tiger swinging the clubs competitively. He's going to become with Charlie the way his father was with him.

Saleh likes those rangy, coverage LB's who kind of do it all and the Jets currently have none imo. They also have plenty of cap space. I think he is one of their primary targets.
-
And no one still will give Milano a 5 or 6 year deal. I think his top offer will be between $10-$11M per season over 3 years with about 2/3 of it guaranteed and I have a gut feeling it's going to be the Jets that give it to him.
-
Well, first he'll be 27 in a few months. No one is locking him up to 32-33 years old. Second, the injury history. The best he'll get on the open market is a 3 or 4 year deal which will carry him through 30-31 years old.

Couldn't happen to a better organization and coach. Hope they implode like the Jags did. them. -
Gunner's 2021 FINAL Mock Draft on PAGE 21
H2o replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I appreciate the work and explanations for your picks Gunner. It's always a quality product. That being said, I would be quite underwhelmed by our first two selections. I'd rather have Leatherwood, Harris, or Wyatt Davis in this scenario @ #30. -
I like Surratt as well, A LOT. I've kind of come to accept that we likely won't be getting Owusu-Koramoah. This guy is next on my list. I like his intensity, his athleticism, and his understanding of what opposing offenses are doing being he was a former QB. He'd fit perfectly in this defense and be a 3-down LB.

If we can't grab Owusu-Koramoah (ND) in the 1st then I would be good with a guy like Chaz Surratt (UNC) or Nick Bolton (Mizzou) in the 2nd, possibly even Tony Fields II (WVU) in the 3rd/4th. I know Parsons, more than likely Owusu-Kormoah, and possibly Zaven Collins will be gone before we pick @ #30. -
Not me. I don't want to be ****ed out of a 1st round bye again if we end up the #2 seed.

Did you play football, at any level?

Don't you hate that? I was the lead RB from my 3rd year of youth league all the way through my Freshman year in HS. As a Freshman on the JV squad I ran for 402 yards on 54 carries with 5 TD's. We moved in December of my Freshman year to a new county. When I got to my new HS these guys had all been playing together since they were kids. The coaches already had their favorites and one of them was the Asst. HC's son who was the team's starting RB. I made the team, but would only get about 6-10 touches per game. I averaged close to 10 yards per touch while the coaches son only averaged about 4. A majority of my playing time came on defense at FS as I started there for 3 years at my new HS. All of the guys on defense that I started with were constantly talking ***t in practice to the other kid saying that "You know he should have your job right now, right?", talking about me being the starting RB. Coach used to get pissed and make me run suicides all of the time, especially if I lit his son up in practice. One time I lit him up in an Oklahoma drill when I was a Junior. I knocked the wind out of him and he laid on the ground for about 2 minutes before he got up. His dad accused me of intentionally trying to hurt him so I could get the starting role. After that the HC never let me run against him in any type of hitting drills in practice, but when we lined up 11 on 11 I made it a point to hit him every chance I got. -

I played in the youth league starting at 9 years old through HS when I graduated at 17. Had the opportunity to play at a Division III school in college at Randolph-Macon here in VA, but chose not to go to college instead because it would have been as a walk-on. Didn't want to go into debt myself or put my family in any more debt than they already were either. -

People are so dramatic these days. The fact that this gets reported by an outlet in the first place is why so many others are just like 🖕🖕

I don't think Kuechley comes back. He suffered some serious concussions throughout his career and walked away to preserve his quality of life for the future. He also took a role as a scout within the organization. I think when he hung the cleats up that he did so for good.

Again, it has been discussed about how Wilson holds the ball too long and the drops he takes that take him away from the would be pocket. Watson holds onto the ball longer than Russ. I'd bet at least 1/4 of these are on the both of them. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/09/17/john-harbaugh-deshaun-watson-holds-the-ball-longer-than-any-nfl-qb/

It's been discussed in here that many of the times Russell gets hit is by his own making. Seattle has won a SB, should have won a 2nd, and the FO has been widely praised over the years for the most part. They are not a bad run organization by any stretch of the imagination. My point is these players choose to sign contracts for the sake of getting that big $$$, but then want to play the tiny violin or believe they are entitled to powers outside of the lane they're in. Buffalo trading for Diggs, a perceived malcontent, is not the same as a player getting a case of the red arse over not being involved in personnel decisions. There was an obvious rift between him and Cousins then displeasure of the offense he was in with how he was being used.
