  1. Both the Cowboys and the Chiefs are in cap limbo more so than us with the impact players they need to get re-signed. I don't see it happening. It will also depend on what Wagner is chasing, $$$ or a another ring. He could end up somewhere like Denver with Russ, or maybe he and KJ Wright both sign with LV, or Miami may come knocking at his door, possibly AZ. He will have options, but I don't think either of those will be Dallas or KC reaching out to him.
  2. A Preston Brown comp for Chad Muma? Yeah, nah, they're not the same player. Muma actually profiles more so to Kuechly, athletically, than he does Preston Brown. Muma is more athletically gifted than Brown ever was, has instincts that can't be taught, and when he gets his hands on the ball carrier he brings them to the ground. This was evidenced by his NCAA leading 85 solo tackles. He got better every year. I encourage you to go watch some tape of the young man.
  3. Wagner will be 32 in June, but he hasn't really lost a step yet. I'm one who believes that Edmunds is not the long term answer. I'd be good with trading him, signing Wagner, and drafting Chad Muma in the 2nd Round to groom as the MLB in this defense.
  4. Knew this was coming. That's $5M+ off the books.
  5. Here's one of him making some plays on the ground for everyone's viewing pleasure.
  6. I mean, he LITERALLY destroyed "The Legend Of Kiko Alonso" in one game. After that he was the "LB Formerly Known As Kiko Alonso".
  7. Evan Neal. The Jags OL is bad. You have to protect whom you hope is your franchise QB.
  8. Well, change eventually happens to every team. Beasley's skill on the field is hard to replace. For people talking about re-signing McKenzie, I think that ship sailed. He'll end up in NY with Daboll is my bet. We could go after Jamison Crowder, who is 5 years younger than Beasley and just as shifty. Or we could go after Christian Kirk, who we could move around with Diggs into various sets.
  9. Mayfield is in that Kirk Cousins tier when healthy. I do believe he was affected by the shoulder injury last year and having to wear the harness. In 2020, Josh had a lesser form of the same injury. In the weeks after, wearing the harness, it affected his game as well and he wasn't as sharp. I expect Mayfield to have a 3,500-4,000 yard, 30 TD type of season if healthy this year. Nothing spectacular, not carrying the team on his back, but serviceable.
  10. If he wasn't such a dumb c*nt, who brought all of this on himself, then I might feel a little bit sorry for him.......... Yeah, nah, nah I wouldn't.
  11. Supposedly Pickett I thought. Maybe his hands are really like 7-3/4"?
  12. Dotson is also a good route runner who is fluid in his breaks as well. He also knows how to use pace to lull a DB to sleep, kicking into an extra gear to separate. An NFL strength and conditioning program could help him add some good weight, but he doesn't need much. Look at DeVonta Smith, all 170lbs of him (if he weighs that much). Talent is talent and Dotson has talent no doubt.
  13. Not since the early 90's, if ever.
  14. It wouldn't be a bad signing, especially knowing he'd be primarily a backup. It would also mean we could actually run some 12 Personnel formations as well. Draft Charlie Kolar in the 4th and our TE room would be set.
  15. Everything I have seen has Hall listed around 280lbs, which is still lightweight for a DT. He's probably going to be drafted by a 3-4 team to play 5-Tech.
  16. Rudolph would be a solid backup option. We basically have Knox and that's it. Rudolph has made his $$$ in the league too, so he might come here on a discount hoping to get a SB.
  17. @YoloinOhio, what is your take on Olave? I watched quite a few OSU games this year myself, but it seems like they had 5 or 6 WR's that could be starting anywhere else in the country. You've seen more of him than I have overall.
  18. Interested to see the 40 times, 3-cone drills, and shuttles for the RB's, WR's, and DB's this year. Those are three places where we not only need some infusion of talent, but some speed as well. I'm also keeping an eye on the LB group. Chad Muma is the LB I want us to grab as the successor to Edmunds, but I want to see how all of these guys perform.
  19. Now Larry Fitzgerald's father has weighed in with his opinion on Murray. One has to wonder if he had any input from his son or saw things on his own that brought this about? https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/03/02/larry-fitzgeralds-father-calls-kyler-murray-spoiled/
