  1. This would be a fantastic scenario for our defense, though likely not to happen come April.
  2. Being at 30 is not like being in the top 10. There are always surprises, in many instances trades, and an occasional wtf type of pick. I'm sure they have a board and they'll stick to that board. Names will be crossed off of the list when they are selected. However that board stands when they get on the clock will be how they make their selection.
  3. Yeah, it's not looking good at the moment. If the women aren't settling, and in it for just the money, then this whole situation begins to look a lot different as well imo.
  4. Here's another article that claims Watson was already trying to settle these cases, deleting DM's, and whatnot. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31158486/lawsuit-accuses-deshaun-watson-deleting-instagram-messages-contacting-accusers-attempt-settle-cases
  5. 15 hours+ running on the poll, 50 votes for (out of a possible 135), and 7 ahead of the next closest choice. Can we call this one yet @Virgil ?
  6. Toney reminds me of Dante Hall.
  7. People keep saying this about JOK, but have you all ever checked Milano's playing weight? He's listed at 221lbs. JOK has been listed at 215lbs the last two seasons, but I would bet money that this year he played closer to 220lbs seeing him on the field compared to 2019. He looked thicker. The difference between Milano and JOK is Milano looks filled out at 220lbs. JOK could easily add another 10-15lbs in an NFL strength and conditioning program with no problems or hindrances. The weight thing is overblown.
  8. People freaking out about the Chiefs signing a DT like it's the final nail in our coffin
  9. One of the WR's I'd love to see us grab if he's there in the 3rd, though he likely won't make it. That 6.71 3-cone at 6'4" and 215lbs to go with a 4.43 40yd dash? Nice. WR Nico Collins Height: 6'4″ Weight: 215 Arm: 34 1/8 Vertical: 37.5 Broad: 125 Bench: 14 reps 40-yard: 4.43 Short shuttle: 4.32 3-cone: 6.71 And another S/LB tweener prospect in Divine Deablo from Virginia Tech putting up solid numbers. S Divine Deablo Height: 6'3″ (98th percentile) Weight: 226 (98th) Arm: 33 (93rd) Vertical: 34 (31st) Broad: 126 (80th) Bench: 19 reps (77th) 40-yard: 4.42 (89th) Short shuttle: 4.40 (14th) 3-cone: 7.12 (23rd)
  10. Exactly, plus he still has room to add about 10-15lbs and be a Lavonte David type of LB. The young man is talented.
  11. Clausen was 2010, a shade over a decade.
  12. Teo definitely. I'd say Michael Floyd and Jimmy Clausen.
  13. This is the only player on the Pats I don't wish a perpetual lining of Icy Hot within his jockstrap.
  14. It will be interesting to see where Jaycee Horn is at. I suspect if he makes it to the 20-25 range then you might see the Bills move up to get him. I think Surtain, Farley, and Horn are the true 1st Round talents @ the CB position. Just my 2.
  15. I'd hardly call Sammy's season elite. That would be like calling Peerless Price's 2002 season elite. It was solid. But outside of those Chiefs and Dolphins games, nothing spectacular. Those two games accounted for 1/3 of his yards and TD's.
  16. Agree on Moehrig. The guy is gonna be an All Pro within 3 years imo. He can do it all at the S position. Roam the field in zone. Man up against WR's, RB's, or TE's. Drop down in the box to provide run support. Blitz the QB. He takes excellent angles and is as sure a tackler as you will see at the position. One of my favorite players in this draft.
  17. Am I the only one that read that in Jack Nicholson's voice? (The Departed, great movie)
  18. See, I think the OL class is deep. Deep enough that it can be addressed in Round 2. I see Chase as the best WR in the draft. I think the trio of Chase, Higgins, and Boyd can be a matchup problem week in and week out. I also like the fact that there won't be a learning curve between my QB and my #1 WR. Just my 2.
  19. Gave up one, swapped one.
  20. Is it wrong I feel a sense of accomplishment sticking it to the Phins, even in a mock draft?
  21. With the 5th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft the Cincinnati Bengals select Ja'Marr Chase... Wide Receiver... LSU. Chase was part of the most prolific offense in college football history along with who slinging the rock around? That's right, Joe Burrow. They already have an established chemistry. This pick gives Burrow a guy he can immediately click with and cause opposing defenses problems. @Logic and the Miami Dolphins are on the clock.
  22. It's kind of like packaging 2022 picks to move up this year.
  23. Ahhhh, yes. You are correct. I forgot about the move back up to 6 trade. Still, 3 first round picks over the next 2 years is pretty sick and would be a enough to move up in the draft to get a QB next year if need be when you couple all the rest.
  24. But, but, but Corey Davis said.....
  25. Exactly, Mark Andrews is their #1.
